THIS VIDEO WAS MADE 1 DAY AFTER THE MUFFLER WAS INSTALLED. IT HAS BROKEN IN AND NOW SOUNDS LOUDER AND BETTER OVERALL. 2007 classic LT silverado 5.3 stock exhaust vs Borla Pro XS muffler. Sounds much better in person, Its not too loud at low rpms but sounds great and has a good tone. very minimal interior resonance but more than stock

I love GM vehicles but Mopar has my heart! Lol. I installed the pro xs on my 2015 ram 1500 with the 5.7 and allllll I can say is, BUY IT! It's a perfect deep tone.

No don't get that is because just loud without notice of deep rumble. .simple getting a straight pipes

Two questions did it improve torque or throttle response? And is it very loud in person? I'm a weenie and don't want it too loud. But I also want to hear my v8 without stepping on it lol
If youve got a 5.3L, Dont buy a borla, borlas have good high speed sound but idle/low speed it sounds like a tin can. Get a flowmaster super 10 if you want a cheap way to make your truck sound amazing, but still quiet in the cab at 1500rpm (60mph)
Yea haha I checked after I posted my question. they only give the round or oval option on the xr1's. Have they gotten louder or deeper since u put this video up?

How is the inlet/outlet set up(2" or 2.5")? Also is it a dual out muffler and is it the 14" muffler case?
When i ordered it it was the 3" center in, 3" offset out, as stated in the video. As far as the length of the case I'm not sure, I didnt measure it but it was probably somewhere between 14-20 inches is my guess
TheLB2796 Would you say the center in/ offset out would fit better than an offset/ offset with the stock pipes? Sounds really good man.
***** yes, the center offset is exactly how the stock muffler is set up. and its a 14 inch case for everyone that was asking

You can get the turbo XL in a dual in/out configuration, yes. and no it is quieter than this one.
Is that with the cats on or did u take them out?
The cats and resonator are all 100% stock. I live in California and have to comply with CARB laws

What’s the point in doing your exhaust if you can’t be heard from a mile away. Idk. I like the aggressive sound. Figured that was like the entire point of redoing an exhaust. Complete waste of time on your end 🤷♂️😂
There is a point on buildung an exhaust system bro and is to help out the motor les stress more flow i did mine long tubes 1 7/8s and straight pipe 3inch all the way with 2 borla xs dont need to make alot of noice to be fast

2007 was a weird year, the first half was this body style and second half was the newer body style. No offense but don’t comment if you don’t know what you’re talking about
Bader Almowanes it's a 07 classic gmc and Chevy both had this classic year
The classics are better than the newer body style
