Tangled: The Series is coming to Disney and to celebrate, we're covering the original, 2010 Disney movie, TANGLED for 107 Facts! 💇 Any facts we missed? Comment below! Watch more Disney 107 Facts! th-cam.com/video/CaBDCR02g8w/w-d-xo.html
I don’t understand why Tangled isn’t as talked about as most of the Disney movies that came after it. It has great story pacing and character chemistry that makes you care a lot about how Rapunzel and Eugenes relationship develop. The lantern scene and Eugenes death scene are some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen in a movie. The humor is clever and creative and the songs greatly set the mood for their scenes. It’s odd to me that so many people wouldn’t think Tangled is as original as Disney’s later movies. None of the two lead characters fall in love until they learn more about each other throughout their journey. They don’t get married until years after the films events, as stated by Eugene at the end. The princess helps the man as much as he helps her. The female saves the male. The moral is about trying to fulfill dreams and that there’s always more dreams to have after it’s fulfilled, which is a very inspiring and more applicable message people can relate to than that of the later movies. Tangled is my favorite movie.
Life of an Indie girl not really it's top 30 highest grossest animated films and made 600 million and tangled has its own series so I'm pretty sure it's not underrated
Janina K. Artwork I screamed and started crying when my sister revealed we were going to the cinema. I was in the middle of the parking lot. I literally screamed
I have a theory as to why Rapunzel's mother looks so young: the medicine she took shortly before Rapunzel was born contained the flower, right? No wonder she looks like she hasn't aged a day in eighteen years!
Rapunzels mother drank the soup with the magical flower in it before she gave birth which caused Rapunzels hair to be powerful and hold the same powers as the flower did.
There's a theory that the Stabbington brothers are 2 of the 12 older brothers Han's told us about in Frozen. I think it's a pretty cool theory, and very possible since you can sail from Norway to Germany (I'm pretty sure that's where Tangled is set) without having to go through another country.
If so, the parents would have had to send them away causing them to be considered orphans because they, like Eugene, are orphans in the series. However, Eugene is also a prince that got sent away so, it’s not impossible.
I love that Vigor was supposed to be in the film but because they loved him, they decided to put him into the series (and he hosts an important plot line).
The best Disney couple. Every other couple is so bland and the dude is always just a love interest more than a fleshed out character with a personality.
You know what's probably the weirdest thing about this movie? Not the weird science behind liquified sunlight and hair bleaching flowers. Not the fact that Gothel named Rapunzel after a vegetable or that the highest ranking military official of Corona is... a horse. But there is one thing that I never understood since watching the movie for the first time: WHERE THE HECK DID THE CHAMELEON COME FROM? Those live in jungles, not german forests!
Drace90 Just in case you can’t find it....A snake tried to eat him and his mother when he was little. In order to protect him his mother sent him away on a lily pad. Pascal somehow ended up at the tower and went inside for shelter. The snake had followed him and Rapunzel hit it with a pan. She used her hair to heal pascal since he was hurt. From then on the became BFFs!
the Vigor idea was used in the new tangled tv series! He ended up telling Flynn a fortune that someone they knew would betray them (which is what the story of the next seasons would be based around) so it didn’t end up getting used!
9:31 .... "Make the clock reverse, Bring back what once was mine... Heal what has been hurt, Change The Fates design, Save what has been lost, Bring back what once was mine... What once was mine..." Greatest song ever 😍🙌🏾
Thank you so much for doing your research on this one!! It really shows how much effort it was to dig up these details. My biggest complaint about prior 107 facts is that some of the info is pretty obviously if you just watched the movie or tv show. We want more of these behind the scenes stuff you can't know just by watching it!! Thanks again and great job!! 😄👍
Psst, bonus fact: Mercury Filmworks, the studio animating the Tangled Series, has a pet chameleon that's kept in the studio. People touring the studio are often offered to feed her crickets, if the time of the tour lines up with her feeding time.
13:12 They actually have story book versions opening on Disney+ in the extras , I feel like it version 1 would have worked better because it would’ve shown why mother Gothel Took took Rapunzel for revenge and it shows why she wanted the revenge. Version two is pretty much the same thing but instead of Flynn Rider being the narrator it’s just a book story of it
I think the goat from the snuggly duckling scene ends up being Shorty’s goat in Tangled The Series because there’s almost always a goat following him around and it looks exactly like that
YES!! Number 30!! I agree with this!! Also, the weight of the hair... I ain't surprised. By the end of the movie, she held Eugene's head!! Ofc she has some arm strength 💪
13:12 They actually have story book opening on Disney+ in the extras , I feel like it would have worked better because it would’ve shown why mother Gothel took the flower back
Tangled is always a great film. :) But...I have a little question about the film. What year did the story took place when Rapunzel was born, when she became eighteen, and when she married Eugene? (And maybe when she and Eugene met Anna and Elsa in the film Frozen.)
Does anyone kinda find it weird the kingdom in Tangled is called "Corona"? I only realised how weird it was til I watched the series and the king said something along the lines "We must protect Corona..."
Fun fact: in tangled the series they meet a fortune telling monkey named vigor the visionary and he tells eugene that someone will betray Rapunzel and ruin her destiny. The person that ends up betraying her is gothels biological daughter who was abandoned when gothel took Rapunzel
Tangled is one of my favorite Disney movies and the funniest other than Emperor's New Groove Also would love to 107 facts about Bugs Bunny and 107 facts about Fritz the Cat.
Ya know, I love what they, and the actress said about Mother Gothal, as I felt this myself when watching, which I found really interesting and complex. It almost makes it more tragic in some ways, as the aspect of good is there, but can't seem to surface over the greed and manipulation.
#104 is incorrect, and was incorrect before this video came out. We got to hear Rapunzel's mother speak in Before Ever After, which aired 14 days before this video was published. We also knew this would happen before the TV movie came out, as Disney released a clip of Rapz and her mom talking. So basically, it was not the only time we got to hear her speak. Rather, it was the first.
I remember many years ago I got a subscription for "Time For Kids". One of the issues they had was up coming Disney Movies, this was back in 2003 or 4 I believe. They predicted in the year 2009 a movie called "Repunsole in Tights" I do wonder if this movie was based on that idea. Still waiting for the movie they said would come out in 2008. I want to say it was called "Milo and Otis" (or something like that). The story was a Dog and a Cat en up stranded on the Highway and they have to work together to get home.
YAY! My most favorite, I mean, number one favorite Disney movie ever! Frozen was my number one favorite actually before I watch Tangled for the first time. Now Frozen is my third favorite. Second one is Moana.
My girlfriend LOVES tangled. I pointed out that the lantern she lifts up, is the only one with the sun on it, so it was her parents and she says “Oh yeah, i know, i thought that everybody knew that” so i’m watching this out of spite so i can be the know it all-
You probably say it in the video, but this is the most expensive animated Disney movie (to date) ever made, costing $260 million. I'm guessing Rapunzel's hair had a lot to do with that.
I prefer Tangled to Frozen. I have already watched tangled at least over 10 times sometimes one day after the other and I can't do the same with frozen since frozen leaves you satisfatied, you know what I mean? like you can't get enough of tangled, you immediatly feel the need to rewatch it and frozen you watch it one time and then you are fine for months and tangled is so much funnier haha
Me when I was 10: Eugene is so handsome oh my gosh. Me right now at age 19: Euegene is so handsome I want a man like that. HAHAHAHA Those women picked the RIGHT MAN xD
here's something I would have loved answered: why is it that Rapunzel's hair doesn't grow back when it's cut? as an infant, Mother Gothel comes into the bedroom window and finds baby Rapunzel and cuts the hair, thinking she could take it with her, only to discover that it turns back to its original color and looses it power. this is further reiterated when Rapunzel is explaining her hair's limitations to Fynn...and the hair is still as short as it was, i'm assuming, 17 years ago when Gothel cut it! how? that lock of brown should be nearly as long as the rest of her golden hair (seeing as she can't get a hair cut) so she should have a wicked streak of brown in there!
13:29 umm no. That's NOT how it goes!! He was not a king but a regular man and he stole Feldsalat (kinda like spinach but you usually eat it raw, Feld=field, Salat=lettuce) for his wife because she liked it. The person who the garden belonged to was unfortunately mother gothel and after a while she noticed. Now the wife was addicted to the lettuce, which's nickname is Rapunzel, and mother gothel said they could have as much as they want if they give her their firstborn child. So no Princess, no thiev, no sword fighting horse after all !!
Hello channelfrederator! Can pretty please do 107 facts of Selena (1997),Cats don't Dance (1997), and Anastasia (1997) (20th Anniversaries), Kiki's Delivery Service,Pocahontas,Mulan,Thumbelina (1994),Little Orphan Annie, and The Wizard of Oz Please?
Well in retrospect, Tangled wasn't the last Disney Movie with princesses, but Rapunzel was the Last Disney Princess, since Disney never included Anna, Elsa or Moana in the lineup.
Vigor is in tangled the series (Rapunzels tangled adventures) and he has that same prediction!! SPOILERS AHEAD!!! He says someone is keeping her from her destiny, and it turns out, it wasn't gothel, it was CASSANDRA

Tangled is soooo underated
Life of an Indie girl actually it's so overrated by its fans as "the best movie of all time"
True
It's certainly the best Princess movie. Or at least, it was before Moana hit the scene. Now I'm divided down the middle!
Life of an Indie girl not really it's top 30 highest grossest animated films and made 600 million and tangled has its own series so I'm pretty sure it's not underrated
Life of an Indie girl meh.asleeping beauty is uinderrared
tangled is probably my Favorited disney movie

I WAS ABOUT TO SAY THIS
Eugene/FlynnxRapunzel is my Disney OTP.
I love this couple so much!
HONESTLY the best disney couple EVER! The show even shows their relationship growth
In Tangled the series, it was revealed that Eugene's real real name is Horace. Given to him by his biological father King Edmund of the Dark Kingdom
The best Disney couple. Every other couple is so bland and the dude is always just a love interest more than a fleshed out character with a personality.
I agree
I like the credits song for Tangeled for some reason...
It's so catchy.
Because it's awesome. I listen to it all the time.
The tangled credits song is my favourite song!!

Drace90 if you watch the series it explains it in the episode titled Pascal’s Story
@@MintChillyPepers Remind me what the episode says where he comes from.
Drace90 “Pascal’s story” It’s episode 11 of the first season
Drace90 Just in case you can’t find it....A snake tried to eat him and his mother when he was little. In order to protect him his mother sent him away on a lily pad.
