I absolutely adored this show as a kid, (*cough* and still binge watch it occasionally *cough*), now that we're finally getting a Hey Arnold movie revival, a revival of this show doesn't seem all that far-fetched. One thing that always bugged me about the last episode of JN was Jimmy and Cindy's first kiss. It was really kind of an underwhelming pay off for two previous seasons worth of build-up. And, before you accuse me of implying anything inappropriate - it took place within the last 10 seconds of the episode, and wasn't even placed center-screen. If you blinked - and quite a few of my friends did - you would've missed it.
You just hit the nails on the head. All of them. I wanted a meaningful kiss between Jimmy and Cindy. Something that lasted at least longer than a minute I would think. But 10 seconds was....man. I was very disappointed.
Yes! I want a date episode between them to me it was soooooo sweet to see that but I do agree I wished it would’ve been longer! Why still try to hide their relationship???? 🙃

Hey! You forgot that Sheen was held back in school twice! In the spy episode, Carl creates a theme song for Jimmy Neutron, the spy. In it, he states that Sheen was held back in school to which Sheen replies: "Hey! That only happened twice!" This means that Sheen would be the oldest person in the grade, not Nick. On the Jimmy Neutron Wiki Fandom website it says that he was sent to kindergarten by his father at age two. He was held back twice, so by the time he graduated he would have been the same age as everybody else.
As much as we would want a reboot of Jimmy Neutron just remember how well all the other reboots have come out recently
Invader Zim, Hey Arnold and Rocko so far are getting TV movie reboots, and if the Hey Arnold movie does well Nick may be giving it a new season. This is the time for a Neutron reboot, I think. I've been running my project for 6 years and actually advocated for a fourth season since 2004. When you're passionate about something, you don't quit.

Jimmy Neutron is not like other shows. Obviously the creators of Zim, Arnold and Rocko have enough faith in their properties to do revival films and I know the creator of Jimmy Neutron still has faith in his property as well. :)
you mean half assed reboots unattached to the original teams and brought back by people who didnt even understand them? or reboots like samurai jack and the nicktoon specials made because the creators showed interest?
No. I'm not referring at all to the reboots that are not done very well. The very shows I just mentioned are getting TV revival movies not only because the creators showed interest but because of fan support, which is extremely important. But the main thing here is that these revival movies have the backing support of the shows' creators. That is why they are going to do well. And the creator of Jimmy Neutron said back in December when the film turned 15 that he had another awesome idea, but it is totally up to the Nick execs.
I remember going to watch the movie when I was younger, and my parents even bought me the DVD back when we first got a DVD player after a minor operation I had to relive chronic ear infections. Jimmy Neutron was what really sparked my passion for science, and disassembling every single one of my childhood toys to figure out how it worked. I can honestly say Jimmy Neutron is the main reason that I have a working knowledge of electronics and chemistry today.
I'm not yet an adult but now that I've seen this series, I would die for season 4, by now I need more episodes to bring back my once genius self in science and math in which I left past back when I was in 4th grade. I was smart kid in class, especially science and math, but after an incident I became dumb..

I think its the perfect time for Jimmy Neutron to be rebooted, with Nickelodeon rebooting Hey Arnold, Rocko's Modern Life, and Invader Zim for their 25th Anniversary, I think it would be perfect, I grew up in the late 90s and early 2000s, and this show was one of the shows I loved, I would kill for a 4th Season, if you think about it, a lot of shows didn't get a real finale...Hey Arnold didn't...Invader Zim didn't, and this didn't, and the creator said he has that movie idea, it would be perfect.
So invader zim was in 2001? So in the 2020's we'll get an invader zim reboot.
Nickelodeon made a rocko's modern life video a few days ago, so it must be near.

When I was a kid, I found Jimmy Neutron to be a very relatable character because, like him, I LOVED science and math and was often ridiculed for it. There were even times when I wished I wasn't as smart, thinking it would increase my chances of having friends and fitting in.

I just wanted to thank you for mentioning my project. I have been working very hard for many years with my efforts to try to get the show back on the air so that loose ends could be tied up. There was certainly some unfinished business left over from the third season, especially with regards to Jimmy and Cindy's relationship. I really, really hope Nick will put this franchise next on their list of revivals. 2017 is definitely the year for them to do it. Now is the time! :)

I would like to see one more season; I feel like Jimmy and Cindy's relationship lacked closure, and I want to know if/how Sheen returned home.
It feels good to not be alone on here because those very things, especially Jimmy and Cindy's relationship and the lack of closure surrounding it, are why I've been running my project and advocating for this show's return for years.
@ayana I mean yeah he did but in the season 3 episode, " the tomorrow boys" it shows older sheen. Which means he has, in fact, returned to earth.

@@jimmyneutronrevivalproject301 Planet Sheen is non-cannon to the Jimmy Neutron universe. No one considers it a part of Jimmy Neutron because of how poorly Planet Sheen turned out. Even Nickelodeon themselves are trying to blast it away from the cannon as much as possible.
But yes, I really would like to see what happened with Jimmy and Cindy. My favorite episode, "Stranded" was the only one that really explored their relationship, and I was hoping that the series would've had been than just that and random 3 minute moments relating to them, but at least we got one 24 minute episode of it!!

The only releases that exist are Amazon's best of seasons 1-3 which are not all of the episodes. It's way past time this show got a full series DVD release.

I managed to find a whole show DVD box set on Ebay. Though I haven't watched much past the 1st disc, I know that what danzig mentions about when pants attack missing on the show line up is the case. Though I do agree on the idea that I do wish that they'd release every episode in one dvd box set.

We weren't able to give ratings back then because we were so young (wrong!! I wasn't even born when that show started and ended).. And if it revives, we give as many ratings as it deserves

It's definitely not from Planet Sheen! It's too high quality for it to be from Planet Sheen, the movie or the original series. My guess is that it is a fan animation or some sort of promo
