Saying Parks and Rec's first episode was its worst is very high praise. It meant things only continued to get better and I agree with the sentiment. The show never really fell off and ended on a high note in my opinion.
"Scott's Tots" is not the worst episode in The Office's history. It's just the hardest to watch due to insane cringe. But it's awesome in its own weird way.
100% agree. Also, the worst episode of the office has got to be one of the Andy led episodes, Jim or Pam marriage woe episodes or maybe the landfill stupidity with the paper-only “leads” Farm episode maybe?
Yeah. Why do TV shows have bottle episodes? Why do most seasons have weaker episodes where not much happens and where the main story is put on ice for a side quest? Because of budget restrictions, no time left etc. And it makes sense. Back in the days you had to write 22 episodes and it is hard to keep up the same top notch quality for every episode. But a bad one once in a while won't drive the viewers away, they will keep watching to see more of the main story in the following weeks.
I think Chelsea Peretti is incredibly talented and funny. That being said, I did not enjoy her character on Brooklyn 99 (although I didn’t remember her being AS annoying when it first aired as when I rewatched the series after the finale, having had the last few years without her).
She didn't use to be at the beginning to me, but you can see the moment Chelsea Peretti gets tired of playing her, around the time she gets hit by the bus. After that, in the episodes without her you don't really miss her anymore
I don’t think the gang cracks the liberty bell is the worst episode. I get the criticism but I’ve always loved that episode. The worst would probably be one from season 13.
Strongly disagree about the filler episode. Bottle episodes are sometimes the very best of the series because when the characters are done well, give us a chance to breathe from the overarching plot and create a deeper and more complex understanding of the characters and their motivations and personalities. Community’s bottle episode “Horror Fiction in Seven Spooky Steps” is a great example of this. We see Britt’s flex her psych skills and see how the individual characters respond to the idea of psychopathy.
It's absurd to still act like The Principal And The Pauper is anywhere near one of The Simpsons' worst episodes. I've always been a fan of it personally, and has only grown on me more over time. If you want to watch an episode that truly makes you feel braindead, try Every Man's Dream.
I know you could say this about a lot of videos on TH-cam but this one for sure is subjective. To me personally a bad or a horrible episode is one that I always skip when rewatching a series.
Scott's Tots was cringe to watch not because it's bad but because Michael's situation is so absurd that it just makes you squirm and feel uncomfortable of what will happen next. It's good cringe! It was a hilarious episode and I'm saying this unironically. It's good cringe in simpler terms. In comparison whatever mindless stuff they made Andy do in the last two seasons was bad cringe
This lost all credibility with the “Principal and the pauper” being labelled the WORST episode instead of the first misstep. That’s like saying In Utero is the worst grunge album ever. It’s such a lazy casual simpsons fan talking point. Are you going to pretend “Hurricane Neddy” didn’t invent some bullshit backstory about a goody two shoes midwestern Christian man suppressing FIREY RAGE for his beatnik parents? Despite there being LITERALLY NO examples of that up into this point? Never when he went “okaly dokaly!” was it ever shown as him being full of anger and glossing it over. It was such a lazy retconning of an idea I can’t believe it isn’t discussed more. But guess what? Still a funny episode and a fun story. Much like Armand Tanzarian’s story. Which was LITERALLY a joke about how sitcoms used to reset the story after every episode and ignore continuity. People also love Hank Scorpios character which was a WILD step into absurdity out of the simpsons comfort zone. Even the “Who shot Mr Burns?” Saga really had them leaping into “stunt of the week” episode territory. And there’s nothing else about those episodes that feel unlike classic simpsons. No faux edgy family guy humor, no celebrities playing themselves, no jerkass Homer. All that shit started in Season 10.
I saw this ALREADY! … about Brooklyn 9-9 thing… did you just RE-PACKAGED the video clips so you can show a “new” video to your Patreon paid subscribers…( if you have that ) ? I’d feel I’m just watching the same stuff again, with no innovation☹️
When I started with Brooklyn 99 I thought Gina will be a witty funny side character. Oh how wrong I was. She was the worst part of that show and I hated every second of her on screen. But her IRL husband is this black feminist weirdo so at least I understand how come her character is like that in the show. She most likely projects herself into it

My mo when I talk to someone about Parks and Rec is “the first season does not exist. Skip it entirely and you should be golden
The last season is the absolute worst. Completely ruined most of the characters
@@kandikidzoraabsolutely. They destroyed the relationships and character arcs. Leslie vs. Ron was an unpleasant gimmick, for example.
"Scott's Tots" is not the worst episode in The Office's history. It's just the hardest to watch due to insane cringe. But it's awesome in its own weird way.
Agreed, I find it so frustrating that some people honestly seem to hate the episode, as if the creators accidentally made it cringe or something.
100% agree. Also, the worst episode of the office has got to be one of the Andy led episodes, Jim or Pam marriage woe episodes or maybe the landfill stupidity with the paper-only “leads”
Farm episode maybe?
When can we expect our money back? We donated money for you to make a movie and we never received one. I want my money back!
When was that?
Seriously????
@@jeshkam 2020
I remember this. Does the og guy ever return for videos?
@ what do you mean?
Gina was an atrocious character. That got everything she wanted, was never in the wrong, never needed to learn lessons and was genraly obnoxious
Glad I wasn’t the only one who thought that
Absolutely hated Gina
i can imagine the writers saying "fuck... this shit fucking sucks,..... theres no time to rewrite but we gotta shoot it cuz we're on a schedule."
Yeah. Why do TV shows have bottle episodes? Why do most seasons have weaker episodes where not much happens and where the main story is put on ice for a side quest?

Gina is an annoying character
She sucks. The more I rewatch the show the more I hate her
She didn't use to be at the beginning to me, but you can see the moment Chelsea Peretti gets tired of playing her, around the time she gets hit by the bus. After that, in the episodes without her you don't really miss her anymore
The worst episode of my favorite show is the best episode of any other show.
it says a lot that i actually have no memory of that second gina episode lol
I've always had a fond spot for the the worst SNL episode "a history of Adam Sandler."
You spelled "Chevy Chase" wrong
there are sooo many worse Sunny episodes that the Liberty Bell one though
"Frank's Brother" stands apart in terms of a series low point compared to its high points
Even iconic sitcoms can release dud episodes every now and then, though we still love these shows. We know to skip these episodes on a rewatch.
I wonder if I'm the only person who actually liked the first episode/season of Parks n Rec
It wasn't bad but from the second season it's became way better
No, I liked it too.
Didn’t hate it but I’m glad they made the changes they did
I loved it from the first moment on!
I don’t think the gang cracks the liberty bell is the worst episode. I get the criticism but I’ve always loved that episode. The worst would probably be one from season 13.
How I met your mother is one of the most unfunny shows ever created, also big bang theory is equally unfunny
Thank you! I could never get into either show!
I agree with Big Bang theory, but HIMYM early seasons had some pretty funny moments
100%

It's the fact that they essentially retconned it
I really did not like Gina by the time she left. It kinda seemed like she was always the one to solve the 99’s problems every damn episode.
I know you could say this about a lot of videos on TH-cam but this one for sure is subjective. To me personally a bad or a horrible episode is one that I always skip when rewatching a series.
Ginas charactiture problem was just a warning for the final season
Moe’s rag. Is the worst Simpsons episode I’ve ever seen.
Gina=literally the most annoying character in B99
Charles is a close second--every time he repeated his son's name...uggggg

The farm is the worst episode of the Office
The worst episode of 30 Rock is "TGS Hates Women" even if Cristin Milioti is a treasure

Gina was just Gina, no more no less. We'll more money and influence but she was still Gina.
Season 8 of The Office was the worst of the worst.
I thought it was another one opens.
I was glad when Ryan and Kelly left.
I saw this ALREADY! … about Brooklyn 9-9 thing… did you just RE-PACKAGED the video clips so you can show a “new” video to your Patreon paid subscribers…( if you have that ) ? I’d feel I’m just watching the same stuff again, with no innovation☹️
It literally says compilation in the title 😂
The Lady Gaga episode is by far the worst episode of The Simpsons
Gina was a bad character.
i could swear i already saw some of these in another video, with the exact same script....
Family Guy was brought back to tv 📺 in 2005 not 2004
Is this video done by an AI? It appears that wayNarrative and editing is all over the place.
Ah yes, the infamous "The Simpsons" episode, "The Principle and tmThe Pauper" that retconned the character of Seymor Skinner...
😊😅 33:43 😊😅
I disagree.
Worst of B99 is the last two hyper woke self hating garbage seasons
Didn't bother watching the last season, and I don't regret it
I thought there would be something about Shameless with the Fiona exit 😢
Sandler was never funny

No. Seinfeld was the greatest sitcom of all time.
Not ALL of my favourite shows, my favourites are Game of Thrones and Supernatural
First!
How can you talk about writing off characters and mash not immediately be in the conversation?
