    We Guyanese soak the dhal overnight and blend it and add flour geera powder and ground garlic and onion pepper with baking powder with little turmeric and for the sour we boil the mango with garlic and pepper with little bit sugar I gave my son your recipe he likes the ones that make with flour he is at University and I’m not there to show him he making them for the first time I like your explanation nicely explain thanks for sharing

    Reshmi, I don't put yeast and just flour because it burst and burn like you said, use self rising flour and it will Never burst. But I also use the soaked and blend split peas. Good luck 😃 I will try your recipe with the self rising flour

    Well I must try this recipe! I have been searching for that light polourie. I remember eating back home. I think this is it. I eating polourue at the moment I am not happy with the texture and taste. That why I am here I search for the one I really craved.

    Any tips on how to reheat it after refrigerating. I feel like if you dont eat them right away, once refrigerated, they just don't taste the same.

      You are right, it doesn't taste the same after. You can wrap in slightly moist paper towel and microwave for 30 seconds at a time

      I know how u felt. Got a burn on my shoulder from flat ironing my hair also. It healed but left a mark like a birthmark on my shoulder like a forever reminder 🤣😂🤣😂
