    I am still using and enjoying this tablet like it first day back in december 2019. I have changed 3 spens already. Right now, I am using it as a laptop. It has some lags but still being suficient for mailing, reading and web browsing.

      Would you suggest it for a student who wants it to make notes in class with pen?

    Great review! I've been daily driving this bad boy since august 2018, I absolutely love it. It's even been my only computing device for 2 years, I've used it to edit photos, gaming, composing music and writing my bachelor thesis and much more. It's a great device, especially for entertainment. It's amazing how well it has hold up considering the heavy usage i put it through.

      That's even more impressive being your only computing device. Did you ever feel like you needed a PC in that time?
      Really happy to hear it's still going strong for you though - feels like it's got some life left in it too!

    Great review bro. I buy it the last month and 4 me is a great tablet because in my country, Panama, we only can find S6 lite and S9 series like new, other models like S5 or S7 new or used No, only for amazon and ebay or newegg. And as I dont have a lot of money the Galaxy Tab S4 is great, for view movies and play some casual games.
    Saludos amigoou 😂😂😂

    Great review! I bought a second one after the old one had mobo issues, keeping it for spare parts. Still the king for reading and media consumption, amoled screen, dex and headphone jack at this price is simply too good.

    F$@%@ hell. I'm carrying one of this well-crafted product ever since 2018, and the thing hasn't failed me not even once (I've taken good care of it thou, but there's no doubt it's not as fragile as it might seem), and battery duration is still pretty decent despite everyday usage. I guess almost six years of life (and I'd say at least another two or three years, who knows??), are not that much compared to the old days standards, but I just hope Samsung to keep bringing that school back again. The electronic garbage must stop...

    I love and adore this tablet! I got it last year used at my local pawn shop for 200 dollars. I put a 500gb sd card inside it and load it with roms for emulation and movies. I like that its stuck on andriod 10 because the newer upadates unfortunetly can ruin older apps and games. Certain games on Andriod 12 and newer will not run on that software but works perfectly fine on Andriod 10. Some people may ask how can you keep an old tablet and my answer to that is I am an old man...43 to be exact but an old tablet for an old man is the perfect combo. lol. Great video by the way as I enjoyed your review.

      Nothing wrong at all with usinig older tablets. I still use my original Ipad way back from 2010. Why because certain games and apps that I purchased back around that time do not run on modern tablets. My Xmen and Simpson Arcade along with The Oregon Trail is just a few of my apps and games that does not run on current ipads and iphones. So keeping older devices for retro apps is perfectly fine.

      Depending on available price, I still prefer the S4 over an S6 Lite, as all content just looks better
      If security updates are important to you, the 2022 S6 Lite could work
      I can't comment on an iPad as I've yet to use one

    Is it possible to custom update tab s4 to Android 11 or 12?

    • @FilthyCasualTech
      @FilthyCasualTech  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There's a few articles around that have details for installing later custom ROMs for the S4, but not many - and it generally looks to be individuals using a Generic System Image.
      So technically yes, but not really worth it as many functions most likely wouldn't work and wouldn't be all that supported

      Yep, I often use the S6 Lite pen with my S4 as it's a bit sleeker, and can attach to some of the S4 magnets (not as well as it sticks to an S6 Lite though)
