      Unless Yveltal is created by Eternatus, it makes no sense that Yveltal is called the Destruction Pokemon if Eternatus is already a thing. If Yveltal is created by Eternatus, Xerneas is created by Arceus to combat Yveltals destruction force, since its the Life Pokemon. But here's the thing: If Eternatus is the Destruction Pokemon, where does it need Yveltal for.

    Besides Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, there's also the fact that Regional Variants are older than their Counterparts-
    Galarian Corsola are long dead Johtovian Corsola, a cold ice age wiped them out. (Regice?)
    Galarian Darmanitan have lived in Galar since before Unova was discovered- and their Dormant Organs prove this. An ancient tremor set the ice age in motion that frosted the Tundra. (Regice)
    Etc., etc. (G Zigzagoon is the original, A Exeggutor is the original, etc.!)
    And while the Crown Tundra 'tree' looks like the Lucario and the Mystery of Mew tree, I think the ghostly silver branches point to an ancient G Corsola/Cursola being kept within that old fortress looking building.
    (Also, I believe we're getting more Ice and/or Fire Type Variants in Crown Tundra and Gen. 4 Remakes.)

    What if stuff was made in Sinnoh but Mew was just everywhere just like it says in-game. Mew can also be found in the wild in Hoenn and its also an event everywhere. Fossil Pokemon are probably millions of years old just like real-life prehistoric creatures.

  • @journii8930
    @journii8930 4 ปีที่แล้ว +15

    This video really put perspective on how old this region is. Though I must say, I don't believe that the Galar region is where life began. I do believe that it is where the first or earliest civilizations came into being though. Most of the ancient places, structures and Pokémon you mentioned were more or less created people.
    The Regi Pokémon kinda prove this as well, because they weren't only created to look cool and represent the ages. From what I understand/remember about them they where also created to teach people.
    Of course, strong, old and rooted civilizations will preserve and have a record of their history. This is why unlike the Sinnoh region who mainly lived to the whims of their Pokégods, we can still see this history in Galar. I do strongly agree when you say it's possible that the Galar and Sinnoh regions are really close or even connected at one point. I can't wait for the new remakes to see if they revamp the creation stories. All in all, I do believe that Galar is old, definitely the birthplace of human civilization, just not the start of life, for Pokémon at least.
    Also... The fossils look really developed in terms of there biological structure. I mean comparing the halves that you can see to the Kabuto line, Lileep line and the great ancient one, our Lord Helix you can tell that the Pokémon that the Galar fossils are supposed to be are far more developed/evolved.

It explains why they have the same color normally and shiny, and why ditto only knows transform because it’s a part of a whole Pokémon, it’s only job was to keep making new Pokémon, this could also explain Pokémon that look like objects, they were they less creative ditto to say. Also why ditto is in every region because now the family tree they are every Pokémon. (Also why they can breed with ever Pokémon, because they are them). A small bodied, large headed psychic type Pokémon said to have ruled over and ancient empire, if I remember correctly. I wonder if that is a reference to either a time of Pokémon having their own rulers, humans following the rule of a Pokémon, or potentially the time when humans and Pokémon were still one or similar in nature.

    Maybe Sinnoh and Galar were part of the same landmass so they will probably share a lot of Pokémon. I’ve noticed with remakes they always tie in with the new regions lore, Johto had the sinjoh ruins, Hoenn had great ties to kalos with mega evolution, so maybe when the sinnoh comes out, they’ll say that sinnoh and Galar used to be the same landmass but then Regigigas split it apart?

  • @goggles8691
    @goggles8691 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I think that galar is probably the most ancient civilization, but sinnoh was the origin of life. I think that what may have happened is that Arceus is born, then uses the unown to create the majority of legendary and mythical Pokémon, including mew. Due to how regigigas is obviously much older and more powerful than the other regis, I think it is fair to assume that the other regis were modeled after regigigas, and I think that the ancient galarians were the first humans to stop being nomadic and the original creators of the regis, which they enshrined in the mountain for whatever reason. And to tie up the loose ends, I think that mew is probably a wandering Pokémon, and the fossils can't be reconstructed properly because the scientist is either too bad at their job, or they can just be found because an ancienter civilization probably has dug more land and gone deeper into the earth

    If you go by the way Toby is wording it, he technically ignored Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, and Mewtwo, which can all be found in Kalos natively AND are part of the Kalos Pokedex. And by his own standard, Toby shouldn't have included Mew because it is not part of the Galar dex (yes it's in the code but so are Mewtwo, Jirachi, etc. but they aren't actually part of the dex). So Galar still only has 5 native legendary Pokémon until the DLC is released (if you can even call Type Null and Silvally native, but they are part of the dex so they count).

We have Copperajaj which is said to came from another nation Eiscue as well is not from Galar. Galar just has a lot of imported Pokémon. The regi though have there own temple or shrines in Galar and Unova where as Sinnoh and Hoenn they are sealed. Maybe when the Regis were sealed in Hoenn and Sinnoh legends of them spread across the world.

Pokemon Evolution is more or less similar to metamorphosis, the best example of which is a caterpillar becoming a butterfly, whereas real world evolution is more like what Charles Darwin talks about, which as I said is shown in things like the regional variants and the different ways the birds are different from each other (which is better explained in a video by Game Theory that they did with the Dex), if that makes any sense. In other words, both happen in the Pokemon world.

    I understand where you are coming from with your research but there some explanations to some of your claims. The some of the dates explain in the games don’t signify the age Pokémon have been around, but the age of humans in the Pokémon world. To say that Pokémon originated from Galar because of a Pokémon that was coded into the game (without backstory) is far fetched. Mew has been coded in all games so the argument could go that it could be found in all regions. That can be a solid argument as to why there are special kinds of Pokémon in certain regions. Therefore, Mew could be originally from all regions. Unless they make a new region and say that’s where it originates from or the Pokémon Company actually publicly announces it themselves.
    As for the Fossil Pokémon from Galar.... were you not paying attention to how the scientist Cara Liss was? Quite frankly I think she shouldn’t be trusted in fossil restoration. Imagine if you gave her a Dome Fossil and a Helix Fossil. She wouldn’t give you Omanyte and Kabuto fossil, it would probably be a fusion of the two.
    Anyways good video, you show effort and determination. That I truly respect!

    Not that anyone will actually see this comment. But Dialga can literally manipulate time, so maybe Sinnoh is actually WAY older than we realize. With Dialga’s time manipulation, Sinnoh could potentially look thousands of years younger than it actually is.
    On top of that. When Groudon and Kyogre battle it dramatically changes the water/earth ratio. So maybe when they fight in Gen 3 stuff got moved around (supporting the idea of Galar being close to Sinnoh)
    Finally, we can’t base the size of a city off the games, as they change depending on art and play style. I think looking at how the cities are done in the anime or manga tells us a more realistic size.

    Galar might have just had more civilizations survive than Sinnoh did. Since they regularly dealt with dynamax pokemon rampages, they built to last, unlike the others who might have just gotten crushed and had to rebuilt. We know Hoenn doesn't have a lot when it comes to ancient civilizations, but the lore from the Draconids talks about them being around from super ancient times, likely when Regigigas was moving continents since groudon and kyogre where the ones making them and the seas.
    Yes, I'm a hoenn fanboy lol. We might have had multiple ancient civilizations scattered about the world, and just as many mew living in various 'World Trees' across a multitude of regions, with the nascent pokemon and human populations mixing and mingling whenever the actions of the legendaries and mythicals allowed. We can also propose that it wasn't until the recent few thousands of years, with things like the super weapon in kalos, the ancient pokeballs from Pokelopolis and Pokelantis and the mastery of creating golem-pokemon like claydol and sigilyph, that humans could really 'stand against' the forces the world could turn on them.

    I like the theory overall, but the thing about the fossils being older in galar than other regions doesn't really add up to me. Some of the galar fossils are dinosaur like much like other fossils we've had in past generations and they've been 'perfectly' restored.
    I think it's more likely that the galar fossils simply are in worse condition than fossils in other regions - meaning that they have deteriorated more than other fossils in other regions that are from the same age.

    the crown tundra is the south most part of galar.
    and the north most part of sinnoh is super snowy too so the two regions may have been connected there and then regigigas split the one continent into two and towed sinnoh away to a different location. at least that is what i think.

  • @TrisFireblood
    @TrisFireblood 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I would like to point out some further evidence towards the tree in Crown Tundra being the Tree of Beginning that you didn’t bring up: The region the movie Lucario and the Mystery of Mew took place in was never stated, but it primarily took place on either the tree or in a castle. What is Galar littered with? Castles. Also, with Lucario being fairly easy to find in Galar and Riolu only being available during snowstorms (like the Tundra is prone to having), Lucario’s debut in that movie could be another tie to the trees.

    It makes sense that Galar is one of the older Pokemon regions since it was based on the UK which has a long history. I think this is defininatly the oldest region so far, but it’s still possible there will be older ones in the future. When you think about it humans have been around for a lot longer than 200000 years in our world and I can only assume they’ve been around longer in the Pokemon world as well, we just haven’t gotten to see those regions yet. Also I think the fossil Pokemon are just the result of the incompetence of Cara Lee, she doesn’t really seem like she knows what she’s doing.
