- What a great Last Minute Fishing Session! We managed 2 big sized bars of silver, that put up a incredible fight. With hardly any visible activity we still decided to cast a lure out in the hope of a passing by Sea Trout, Thankfully it payed off. Thank you to Lewis for appearing randomly on the shoreline to make an awesome fishing trip, Hope you enjoy.

Amazing fish
Thanks Paul, when I look back on this video for the memory, the way it went airborne so many times always makes me wanna get back out fishing 😁
Well done Michael and Lewis, its a great feeling when a Seatrout hits the lure.
Thanks Angus really appreciate your comments, and your right the adrenaline is crazy when you know there’s a sea trout stalking your lure! How are you mate? Have you been out fishing at all since we last spoke?
Getting an odd one Michael and learning a wee bit more most times I've been out trying different lures . Like most anglers I'm hoping the weather will settle a bit.
Lovely sea trout, well done 👍
Thanks Mate really appreciate that, how’s the fishing on your end been mate?
@@theanglingfront i’m finally off the mark in the big loch, though work has meant I’ve not had much time. I was talking to a member that has been getting plenty and been able to put a bit of time in, which is a great sign, we now have these relentless cold NW winds now though. Be back out soon in search of a good early season brownie, still not managed a go in the sea for sea trout, your vids really do make me want to, i know how much time you must have invested to get the knowledge you have but looks totally worth it 👍 take it easy.
Great sport great seatrout
Thanks mate, really appreciate it, I love watching the Sea Trout go Airborne, one of my favourite aspects with Fishing for Sea trout 😁
Cant wait for this 🎉
lovey fishing guys great to see them swim away
Thanks Thomas, really appreciate that, and yeah, love watching them dart off like a bullet
Great video mate!
Thanks mate, really appreciate it, looking forward to our next session, hope you are well
Do you mate male's in the uk?
you finally got out mate!! well you deserved them after that weather bomb, 2 nice 1s mate, you already know my view on seekers 👍🎣🎣
Thanks WTC it was amazing to finally get out as you said with that horrible weather!! And yeah you swear by those seekers and quite rightly so, they are extremely effective!! Hope fishing is good on your end mate
@@theanglingfront you def deserved an afternoon on them mate thats for sure!! pinned with weather again mate and my wee streams just filled with finnock so im givin it a wide berth for min, hopefully by weekend high pressure well all be out again mate, seekers rock mate and the big girls hit them too, its a versitile lure in the box 4 sure mate, all best mate as always 👍👍
Love your videos Michael what a lovely sea trout bud .
Thanks Thomas really appreciate that mate 🤘🏻
Nice one Michael👌
Thanks Doug, really appreciate that 🤘🏻
well i bet it tastes delicious, really nice catches.
Great sport and a couple of lovely sea trout. Not had one yet this year myself!
Thanks Colin, really appreciate your comments, with the better weather Colin you will be on the fish soon!
Excellent fishing guys, cracking first fish… you ever spin stop your seeker they work really well?
Put ye right in the mood 🎣
Thanks Stio always appreciate your comments, I haven’t tried that method yet, I will give it a go on my next spinning session! Do you have any preference of seeker? Colour wise? I’m really enjoying the pearl white colour just now myself
White works really well, along with green and silver,… excellent lure, try a cast and watch it flutter on the stop…. Sea trout along with bass can nail it after you stop, then continue on an of…. Works extremely well on the flow of a current to, letting the current work it…
Hope it helps, well done guys 🎣
What a beautiful mark. Fair play michael
Thanks Mick, and yeah love the rocky outcrops, great scenery too, doesn’t bother me if I blank with that view 😂
Great video and lovely sea trout love your commentary as well
Thanks Mick, really appreciate that 🤘🏻🎣
I've just started fishing an estuary here in northern Ireland, I love your videos
Thanks Peter, really appreciate that, have you had any luck in the estuary over in Ireland yet?
Another good one mate. If there's one way to make a grown man wet himself it's the excitement of good fish. 🙂
😂😂 Thanks Red!! I couldn’t agree anymore, I sometimes look back at the footage and I think, what the hell am I talking about 😂 but as you said it’s the excitement, it takes over aha how are you anyways mate?
@@theanglingfront All good here mate thanks. Will be up your way in the next couple of weeks weather permitting. Adrenaline has a lot to answer for 😂😂. Any good fisherman knows it!! I use those savage gear lures myself can highly recommend them and a very similar lure at half the price. I think it might be the UV reactive paint that's on them that makes them more attractive.
@@redsoutandabout. That’s Awesome! And I think you’re right! They look irresistible running through the water, and next time your up this way, send me a message mate, if you fancy a session at some point
@@theanglingfront definitely will mate. Probably be a weekend but if there's a good night water I might make a mad dash it for a couple of hours.
Well done and thanks for sharing guys!
Thanks mate, really appreciate that, really love your salmon uploads 🤘🏻🎣
@@theanglingfront Thanks but I must get some ST fishing in on the Clyde Estuary which is at the bottom of my road lol
@@thedoggedangler Yeah, can’t beat a bit of Sea trout fishing especially if you live close by, absolutely ideal
Great session again!
Thanks Nickie really appreciate that
Great footage and a massive well done on the lovey ST you landed Michael. Fishing on the east coast of Northern Ireland is picking up, even caught my first mackerel of the season last week which is extremely early for them here ! Thanks for the time & effort you put into your channel. Looking forward to seeing more posts. Tight lines from me on other side of the Irish Sea in Larne County Antrim - Danny
Thanks mate really appreciate this comment, and that’s amazing with regards to mackerel from the shore at this time!! Must be plenty of baitfish
@@theanglingfront The Tern’s arrived about two weeks ago and I’ve seen them diving constantly along where I live. Michael my friend and I are using savage gear cast hackers to great affect especially the sayoris and blue colours ( belly hook removed ) also the SG needle trackers in same colours but they are calm weather lures 11g quite light but great fun to use as they have a sink and rise action. You maybe know this but just letting you into our secrets here for sea trout lol.
@@gonefishingni Sounds Amazing mate!! Will need to try this method
Well done bud on your seatrout a thought it was gonna come off the amount of thrashing the water it was doing 😂..anyway well done to you and your buddy Lewis 👏 👍 tight lines
Thanks Scott, always appreciate your comments mate! I was thinking the same 😂 sometimes I panic a bit too much, but the adrenaline was pumping aha, how’s the fishing on your end mate?
No worries bud ..no done much this year atall gonna wait till it heats up a bit and get back out on the rocks ..so can't wait for that
@@scottmckean4611 Awesome mate, hopefully this bloody weather gets better!
Same here the sun's getting warmer just that wind anyway hopefully not long now..stay safe on your travels 👍
It certainly was “lovely!” 😂
😂😂 John I always review back my videos and I wonder why I say Lovely 😂 half the time I don’t know what I’m talking about when I have a fish on 😂 thanks for watching mate
@@theanglingfront no worries mate, we get carried away with the adrenaline eh! I’d hate to listen back to myself when I’ve a decent fish on 😅
I love catching and eating sea trout. Salmon I can take or leave but it is good to catch either.
Hi John, I prefer the sport personally, as you know the fight of them are insane! And it’s even better when you catch one instead of blanking which happens to me very often 😂 thanks for watching mate
Superb again gents
@@9suuupersonic Thanks mate, always appreciate your comments
Belter of a fish mate 👏
Thanks mate, really appreciate your comments man 👌
Superb again mate you never fail mate hahaha cheers
Ed 👍
Thanks mate, really appreciate it, and to be honest I seem to get a lot of luck with the sea trout
@@theanglingfront yep you do well bud 💪👍
Lovely stuff mate 👍
Thanks mate, really appreciate it 🤘🏻🎣 how’s the fishing on your end?
I was out trawling at the weekend just down the loch from you in loch striven ,weather wasn't great didn't get a touch , really just waiting for a good weather window to give it a proper go. I'm tempted to fish just across from you at ardentiny but need the time and weather , fingers crossed il get out in the next few weeks. Will keep u posted👍
@@MrBurkey22 Good stuff, hopefully the weather is a lot better than recently!! Can only hope mate
Very nice fish
Thanks Eric, really appreciate that, defo one of the better fights I’ve had on the light gear
Well done. Nice Trout.👍. New Subscriber here 👍.
Thanks Greg, really appreciate this 🤘🏻🎣
Cracking fish men. Had 2 last week and 2 blanks this week. Did you hear about the boy who caught a sea running tiger trout over your side of the Gareloch 😂
Brilliant Video mate, what camera setup are you using
Thank you Terry, just using a Go Pro 12 and my iPhone 😁🤘🏻🎣
Awesome. Where is this?
Thank you, this is Clyde mate
Great video and fish, where are you fishing ?
Thanks Mike, appreciate that, this is on the Clyde, West of Scotland 🤘🏻🎣
Thanks i live kilmarnock, irvine and troon not far away, il try there 🤞
Great Fishing Michael, I am travelling up from the Nort East of England with my wife we are both keen trout anglers. But would love to try sea trout fishing from the shore and coastal areas is there a permit for this as I have looked online but its all a bit confusing to a daft old git like me.
Thank you Jonathan really appreciate that mate and yes mate it’s all permitted fishing up here in the estuaries, I buy a yearly one for my local one which is the Clyde, I’m not sure how day permits or weekend permits work, I will ask a friend after work and will send you a message when I find out
Hi Jonathan, unfortunately the guys I asked weren’t sure, maybe depending on the area you decide to travel too maybe the local tackle shop would have a better understanding? Sorry I couldn’t help you on this one mate
Do you ever keep and eat one or is it just sport?
Hi Joseph, I personally just do it for sport, I’m not against anyone keeping fish but I just prefer the sport 🤘🏻🎣
Wow, brilliant 👏 Whereabouts were you fishing ?
I am a new fisherman in Scotland. Can i ask location when i can try cache see through near glasgow ? Thanks very much
Looks like you're being ignored too. Seems rude doesn't it? Even just a polite "I'd rather not say" would be understandable. I literally was just interested in which country and the broad area...no interest in turning up to pillage....I'm not even an active angler, just love Scotland assuming it's there....
Try a 13 lb seatrout on 6lb line
Wow, that’s awesome!
Were you fishing
Alright man, this is just near Arrochar on the head of loch long
Payed??? WTF Has Scottish education been reduced to shit? ,PAID!!!!!
😂😂 Fair point, I’m thick as mince.
@@theanglingfront Hahaha sorry just reread my comments sounded like a complete twat. Meant to be funny. Nice Seatrout 👌
