At first, we went over to the beach near our resort, but quickly realized there are much better places to experience the Dead Sea. I live in Canada, so the Dead Sea is my escape when I visit home (Jordan). This place is so magical.
The lifeguard of the beach was collecting mud in the bottle is any tourists would like to take some home.
The Coca Cola guy was trying to rip you off, he would have made few extra dollars through tip by just being kind instead of ripping you off. But you obviously did your job 👍

Those opening shots were mesmerizing. Being from the Midwest, I was in awe when I went to go live in SE Utah (Moab area). It was my first time anywhere out west. I can only imagine being in the Dead Sea area! The mud reminds me of a Dead Sea mask I have for my face - about to spread it all over my body like you guys. A girl can dream she’s floating jn the Dead Sea right now haha

The Movenpick Hotel is expensive but has a very beautiful beach at dead sea... if you can get just a tour without staying over it will be cool.......... but I suggest if you still have time to spend one night at Wadi Rum close to Dead Sea.... this place was used by US famous movies like Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019) and Disney's Aladdin (2019) were filmed in several locations in Wadi Rum and surrounding desert. While Aladdin (2019) is a fantasy film, the rock arches featured in Aladdin are real.......... one of the most beautiful places ever... you can stay there at a Bedouin Tent ... if you can't stay for the night try to pass by the area ...

For people who want to travel jordan, the BEST option would be is to get a car as soon as you land in Amman and book an airbnb apartment. There are plenty in Jordan and affordable.

Haha, I'm currently in Eilat, Israel and I can see the city of aqaba clearly fom over the sea, it's only 6km away from me, I'm absolutely amazed by the big arab revolt flagpole in the city so here I am seaching for videos about the city in youtube
19:29 it literally says on the bottle, "it's 25 qirsh"( quarter of 1 JOD) so even he sold it to you for 1 JOD he already charged you 4 times the actual price, it's known that these prices are "tourist prices", and people charge you extra in tourist places, but still 5 JOD for a can of coca-cola is waaay too much.

I have two timeshares for sale in a nice resort in the dead sea, the resort is across the beach and few minutes walking from the beach, It's around 10 y/o, and the price for the timeshares is great!! As you will be getting two weeks/year free of charge, and 4 weeks for 10-15JD/person/night!! The resort has all the facilities for a nice holiday all over the year.

We were right on beach of the Deadsea at Movenpick. Very nice, our room was upgraded and it was such a surprise, and so luxurious, our only luxury while in Jordan because we were celebrating our very late honeymoon/anniversary.
Keep in mind it is not regular salt.

A quick remark: you didn't cross the border from Jordan to another country. I saw a big sign on the road before the checkpoint, it says straight-ahead "Al Aqaba" 65 (I guess 65 km to go. it's another Jordanian sea city which has a big Jordanian seaport in the red sea) and a left turn to another site. As far as I know, the dead sea is split between Jordan and Israel.
Thanks again for this great video. Jordan is for sure a lot better than Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon. Big big difference in many ways! I'm not from the middle east, but I should say this: "RIP King Hussein. May God bless your soul"!! He was ahead of his time and managed to keep his country out of trouble. Don't forget you must to drink Arabian coffee after Mansaf and cancel all your things after Mansaf cause you will fall asleep it's too strong meal ,😜
Fun fact: back in the 80s, the sea level was a couple of meters below the road. A lot of it evaporated. Climate change hit that part of the world quite harshly.

They sell it in the market a pack of 6 for 1.25 JOD
You can peel large chunks of salt from the floor of the sea, and it is easier to transport than the mud.

To me Dead Sea very similar to Sawa Lake in southern west Iraq... Unfortunately Sawa Lake been abandoned since the 80's.

@@worldnomac your welcome..just remember when you are travelling always think in advance..expect the unexpected..avoid buying water from the streets because you dont know if it is safe to drink or not..in china they wash the bottle and refill it with running water then sealed it so you have to be careful..also always bring with you a medicine for stomach ache..headache.. bring extra small towel like fiber ..extra short and underwear and tshirt..in case you will be swimming unexpectedly..and sunscreen to protect you from the sunlight

As a Jordanian and as a someone who's been his whole life around his area, I can tell u that is the stupidest thing to do,,,,,Taking off your shoes on the pure salt, any one who is watching this believe me when I say DO NOT TAKE OFF YOU SHOES NEAR THE salt WATER, because you are gonna get a deep salt cuts in your foot and they are hurtful!!!!!!
the dead sea mud heals wounds cause of the salt in it
the mud is taken from the bottom of the sea, you can fill up a bottle from the shallow areas and take with you home, its good for the skin and face
