The ground lamb stuffed inside the pitta bread is called (3Arayess) or Lahm bi Ajeen .... the pronunciation has a letter which don't exist in the English Alphabet... I refer to it as Number 3 .... letter 3ein.... it's either BBQ grilled or in oven cooked

Absolutely love it, khaye! Wadi Rum is definitely my favourite place..can't wait to come here next year (that is if we can travel then!!! Bloody Covid!!!). The Martian Pods are excellent! Love the style. So Martian! And couldn't believe how great the facilities in each pods are!
All workers are Egyptians so they didn't produce it well. Its not (Manoosha, that stuffed with zaatar, cheese eggs spanish and it like pizza not selling up its open ) its (Arayees) that two lyers of bread stuffed with lame, goat meat.
That guy on the buffet got u when he said that thing is pizza 🤣😂 it's called Arayes. It's some kind of marinated minced beef stuffed in pita bread and grilled on charcoal 😋👍

I was in Wadi Rum in March of 2000 and just camped out an amazing experience, I arrived there in an old Datsun Pick-Up truck with Goats, you couldn't slap the smile off my face.. I was there again in January of 2012, a different but still good experience. Wadi Rum is a very special place.

It was a higher end place but it also included a half day Jeep tour, 2 meals and the overnight stay there. So that was about $130 per person which we thought we got a lot of value at for the price.
