I came to Jordan. Jordan is a beautiful country. The people there are very kind and the country is very safe. I hope to visit it again. I spent a week there. It was the most beautiful days of my life.
Maa shaa Allah ( With Allah will happen) what a beautiful country, Thanks for the video, May Allah The most high allows me go there one day, Aamiin, love to see myself.
Visited Jordan in July. Amman is, busy, but very friendly (and surprisingly, not super hot) be warned, their public transport is nonexistent, and don’t get in a taxi in rush hour, you’ll be stuck in it for some time - so negotiate the price before you get in!. We ate out in various restaurants and the food was delicious - even if you’re a vegetarian. We even found a restaurant with a happy (beer) hour.
Thank you for that nice video! A lot of sweet memories coming to my mind. 06:24: Cliff Hostel: There I stayed several times, first time for a couple of days in 1989 before I started studying Arabic at Jordan University. At that time it was called "Hotel", not "Hostel" (in Arabic still in the video written "Funduq" = "Hotel"). Amman is so nice. Especially that time there were nearly no tourists, and even in Petra (Wadi Musa) there were only I think two hotels. Haha, I had a weekend passtime sometimes to go to Az-Zarqa' and take the once a week train train back to 'Amman. I think it has not been in service now for many years. Your video wants me to go back to 'Amman.
I have two timeshares for sale in a nice resort in the dead sea, the resort is across the beach and few minutes walking from the beach, It's around 10 y/o, and the price is good for getting two weeks/year free of charge, and 4 weeks for 10-15JD/person/night!! The resort has all the facilities for a nice holiday all over the year.
Hey Jeff, There's a typo @ 0:29 Arriving in Oman. My trip to Jordan in 2016 wasn't as fun as yours. I'm enjoying watching your playlist of local videos. The yogurt dipped lamb with nuts looks amazing. The food there is so healthy and well prepared. I remember having Christmas Eve dinner with our Allies in 2010, huge trays of rice and chicken, lamb, and goat. Fruits, nuts, and yogurt drinks. So yummy, Thanks for the fun memories!

Hello..Great footage and information. Enjoy your videos alot. We are planning a trip to Jordan and Egypt. Do you think it's possible to visit these countries without being part of a large tour group? Can you give me tips on booking airfares? Thank you
We booked with Air Jordanian. We visited with 2 people. We searched Trip Advisor and Instagram for tour guides with the highest ratings and did private tours with them.
Anyone know the answer to why it is called mosaic? All I could find was : This word means, etymologically, "of the muses". It comes from Greek mouseion. It may be that ancient temples dedicated to the Muses ("mouseion" in Greek, source of our modern "museum") were often decorated with mosaic murals. Was the church in the video decorated with mosaics with a connection to Moses the man? Mosaic covenant?
Great video, I have a quick question about the internet service that you got, did you get it at the airport can you use credit cards? Which provider did you use? How much did you pay? How does it work in your cell? Any information would be apreciated , thank you
Too bad my trip to Amman was so bad and we faced a lot of bad situations and one of the worst was that we got jumped by kids! They literally tried to steal our bags! As I also speak the language, I was with my Turkish friend, so whenever I speak English with him, people were saying really bad shit about us not knowing that I know what they're saying! I might have went to the wrong place or side of Amman but I'm willing to visit again I guess and give it another chance as I had a blast in Aqaba.

I would assume that you also have female followers, and that is why I find it strange that you don't mention how it would be for a woman to travel to those places. I would imagine that for me, a white, blond Norwegian woman, it would be rather unsafe to travel to those countries and experience what you are experiencing, but it looks like you are having a ball though...
I saw many white blonde female Russians around Petra and other places across Jordan. Also British, so I would say you can also go there. Maybe cover up if you want but it did not appear necessary.
Lots of coverage on this topic during the qatar World Cup. Women felt safer as there are NO catcalling and no drunk men. Women feel safe in these countries. Women especially in Jordan and Lebanon don't wear hijab and many outsiders wear shorts and nobody tells them to cover up. Islam gives respect to women contrary to what the west says. There are expedited lines for women and children in most places they are serviced first before men if there isn't a separate area. It's India where it's really unsafe and unadvisable for females to be unaccompanied.
What kind of comment is it? If you don’t like the way it is the door is open, no need to call a place as ugly and compare it with somewhere completely different??
