Thank you so much for your vlogs. Being a British expat living in Jordan for nearly 50 years I thank you for portraying Jordan and the Jordanian people in such a positive light. Jordan might be small but it's got a great heart! Looking forward to your next vlogs!
I'm gonna give you and everyone a good advice if you want to go to jordan: it's better if you knew a jordanian before you come to jordan, they will make you sleep in their houses and cook food for you in their houses and they will guide you in your trip, this may make you save some money of hotels، here in jordan we study English in school as a second language and we all watch Hollywood movies and we know Americans very well so also don't feel a lot strange here because people know you, also there are a lot of arab jordanian Christians here they live mostly in ajloun and karak and madba but you still gonna see them in other cities, I hope you enjoy your visit here and don't forget to make friendships here, people here have great sense of humor and admire friendships and relationships. Thank you for your awesome videos ❤
Just started watching your vlogs and honestly what I most like is how positive you seem and how you see the good in every situation/place you visit. much love!
I always love watching you and listening to you ❤️. And I wanted to say a special thanks to you for taking time out and answering all the comments. This really helps your viewers connect with you. It's a great gesture on your part really appreciate it.
Thank you so much for this vlog, most ppl who travel to Jordan go to the same places, u went to new places tried new things ! amazing, make your life the best adventure! :) can't wait to see more of ur videos
Thanks again for this great and social vid!! So, in less than 10 minutes of driving, you've become a middle eastern driver honking your horn for no reason. It's a kind of addiction... Once again, you've proven to me I'm very right about Jordan and all that it has. I'm very impressed indeed and my morale is highly lifted. It sure warms the heart. That's no doubt a big big difference to have a country like Jordan in that region moving forward slowly but surely without any rich natural resources, let alone unsecured water in a very desertic country!! I've not noticed any electricity cut off at night time, lack of water, or closed gas stations because of lack of gas supply in Jordan from your vids. That's a very huge huge plus to have in that part of the world...That's a big thumbs up to Jordan. Hope to see more of your videos about Jordan!! Drive safe and enjoy your stay!! Cheers,
Dude your video is awesome! I’m from Jordan but I’ve lived all of my adult life in Texas and am thinking of visiting Jordan by the end of the year. One of the things I was worried about is driving there since I’ve never driven there. Now after watching your video, I’m definitely going to rent a car and just drive around Amman and maybe visit Petra 🇯🇴
Bro! You're so brave! By the way, your videos have taken over my ENTIRE day off!! I'm just watching one after another. All Jordan ones. Once done, I'll move on to the rest of them.
Just finished watching the whole great vlog. Thanks, Mac and Harry. That food you had late at night is called Maqluba, meaning 'upside down'. Basically, the whole dish is cooked in one pot, by placing all the ingredients on top of each other and slowly cooking until it's done. And then finally flip over the whole thing in a serving dish.
Guys you drove the dessert highway, which is the most direct way down to Petra, but there is an other option through Madaba, Kerak, Shoubak through the Kings highway with more touristic sights to see.
Thank you for sharing! We have booked a rental car for our time in Jordan but we’re feeling nervous about driving there having no idea what to expect! Really appreciate you taking us along so we have an idea what we signed up for! Did you need an international driver’s license?!
If you think driving in Jordan is an experience, try driving in Jeddah and Riyadh, KSA. That would be the real experience. I lived there for some time. Been enjoying your vlogs. Informative. Its like just being there. Thanks for it.
CDW is (collision damage waiver) - I worked at a rental car company for ten years. If anything happens to the rental while you have it they will charge the damage to your credit card and it’s up to you to get reimbursed through your credit card company
Amazing video as usual, we definitely are coming to visit Petra next summer. Just a hint: at gas stations in Jordan you almost never fill up yourself, always full service, I know full service here in the states is more expensive if you find them. Have fun and take care Mac.
@@worldnomac I will always enjoy your videos. I watch a lot of travelers vlogs around the world but no one comes close to yours. The most traveler i watch is "Gabriel traveler" but he's becoming to be a little boaring. In the future if you can find a female companion to come along with you in your travels; you will increase the number of viewers dramatically. Watch the "Travel beans" a British couple and you'll know what i mean.
13:27 the sign is 60 km/h, correct? Is that for the road on ur right specific, why driving at 80? I thought you just said you get $10 fine for even 10km/h over the limit.
Cheers bro! I like your vlogs and your personality, too. you are a nice guy and can connect with people right away. Also, your Arabic is improving and that's really good. Enjoy your staying buddy.
