Great insight. Great work in Florida. We have some good firms here. Thanks for sharing
I love the way you approached this study! I have done similar comparisons with similar methodology. It’s disappointing that the RTC360 data was able to be used. That’s where my money would have been. The Leica TRK packs a serious punch too. Well done!
I agree, we have been quite impressed with our RTC360 as well.
Great work! A ton of insight
Nicely done.
awesome video! thanks for sharing knowledge
Great Video! Well done.
amazing
This was very interesting to watch, but please for the next video: Put the audio into stereo! Hearing the audio only on my left ear is exhausting.
Yes I apologize, I didn’t realize that until after it was uploaded. Won’t make that mistake again.
Which sensor to use for scanning single plant for calculating hidden fruits . Sensor which penetrate leaves and branches
I don't see Lidar as being a cost effective solution for that application.
@@The3rdDimensionSurveying can you please suggest which sensor/camera/tool will be helpful
Honestly, the two optical sensors built into every humans head. I just don’t see how a LiDAR sensor could get enough resolution to accurately detect fruit past leaves without having to use a handheld slam scanner on every single plant. It’s just cost prohibitive. LiDAR is great but it’s not the right tool for every problem. You could maybe explore photogrammetry using a sensor that picks up chlorophyll content, a common use in agriculture but I honestly can’t see cheap labour not winning in this situation.
@@The3rdDimensionSurveying thanks for reply. My project is robotic arm which would harvest fruits on plants. For few dense plant’s, simple machine vision is not useful. I wanted to see hidden fruits inside so that my machine would calculate path to reach it and harvest. I would love to see your suggestions on this. Thanks again.
@@nikhilbwadibhasme ahhh that makes more sense now. Check out Livox, they make some great cost efficient sensors. No need for high end survey quality sensors for this application IMO. Sounds like a fun project, if you get anywhere with it please let me know!
