Women have forgotten how to love. Men have forgotten how to lead. And collectively, we have forgotten that we need each other. Technology has utterly torn us apart from each other and technology has utterly torn us apart from our own selves. Marriage might die out altogether in just a couple of generations like this.
Get away from social media. Get away from video games. Go back into the real world.

Listened to this with my teen daughter on our way to school such an important and helpful video. Loved when the sister mentioned that women are promised the same outcomes as men and biologically it's simply untrue. I see it all around me , so many women I know focused on their careers in their early 30s and without children. Pursuing masters and it makes me sad. Thank you for this video!

Just currently looking at the poster (without a pic) and thinking "that would be nice if there is Umm Khalid".. and I search for her fb page just because it's been such a long time since the last time I read her insightful writing and see the announcement! Love her so much because of Allah.

Alhamdulilah for truth. Alhamdulilah for not hiding the truth even when it’s against yourself. This is Islam. We have become as a race way too covered and protected. The more self awareness and hardship the better chance to get to Jenna. No one should have our best interest, but us. This is super satisfying to watch and be apart of because the topic is difficult to find in day to day conversation without people getting extremely heated. Honestly encouraged me to be more brave when opportunity arises. JazackAllahKhair ♥️

    as Salaam wa Alaykoum,
I’ve been following the work of sister Naïma B. Robert for quite some time and am truly an admirer; I recently watched her dialogue with Umm Khalid on TH-cam and though I do not have a significant platform I am very eager to share with her publically insight/perspective with supporting Islamic sources and add to this great topic (in a supportive way not to debate/argue) being that I am a woman who was BORN and diagnosed intersex and raised as a boy until puberty, having experience in the LGBTQ community and being very a practicing Muslim woman. I do have a organized ideas that’s I’d love share with being that she has shed so much needed light on these issues. I am eager and hopeful to receive a response, insha’Allah.

Hi Sister Na'ima I really admire you. I grew up in a mixed family from South Africa and Zim. I very much relate to you in several ways. This was an informative video thank you ladies. I would love to hear your solutions on how trans people or those considering it can actually heal from their mental health challenges instead of changing their bodies. I feel that you brought great concern and awareness to the problem, but solutions were minimal. As you spoke on this topic you used the word "freak factory" Sis let's not forget the humanness the ubuntu. I wonder if this term may hurt someone watching, and perhaps push them even further away from the straight path. Perhaps a different word choice could still get your caring message across. I know your heart has pure. Much love sister!

I truly benefit from you sister Naima, may Allah reward you for your efforts. However, out of all people you brought on Umm Khalid who along with her husband don't believe in something as basic as women's education. I am not a feminist nor am I trying to start anything. But why should we listen to people like Umm Khalid and her husband who make islam suffocating for others? and I don't think it's a responsible thing for you to give plaform to such people. I am sorry if that was reach, but we have to be careful the messages we are putting out there. it would stray people away from the deen.

I agree and if I I had a few doubts about them before, there is none now after I saw the husband mocking school age afghani girls who were crying on a video when speaking about them being prohibited from going to school. He was mocking them imitating their voices and crying making his voice feminine, absolutely disgusting.

Thank you for the conversation! Listening you and basicly agreeing in some points of view what you brought on, still remains a question: why nowday religions and conservatives connect women's narcissistim with feminism? Not every woman who talks for women or brag about feminine power is a feminist. Actually it seems more, that few are. It would be the same if I connect narcissism with all moslem men, which is far from true. And, anybody who has studied narcissism or had experienced narcissistic relationships probably have corelated that narcissism in woman is often suited with the relationship with men. Not with feminism itself.

Its not suited with religion, I guess (even in some areas it can be called religion, at least it seems so from distance). Seems just that in religious debats people often have confroted feminism to "female well behavior". That everything what is negative, or narcissistic is coming from feminism... Not true. As it is not true that all muslim men are narcissistic, even in some area they clearly are...

You can say, if moslem man is a narcissistic, there is no possibility for woman to fear God, because all her time is dedicated to fear a Man. So basicly he thinks he is a God. I know the ideology but yes there are always 2 sides to story
    Allah guide us
Yes women feel trapped n taken advantaged n frustrated
Yes we can nt deny the ladies act was nt correct but this is reality the frustrations women feel n most times people don’t listen feel n help us far n between

Absolutely agree with this egotistical ideology
I think this can stamp from home environment where the father did nt respect or value the mother of the home n this we lashing out n inspiration is to override the hurt n repression our mums experienced n we nt going to have that in our live
So I feel men need to be taught how to communicate n respect there wives n be patient to help her to come to level
N in most relationships both spouses continue growing or nt n this results in differences arising because they on different levels of how they deal n approach n just to add men feel they complete n perfect and there’s no need to change ,accept correction
