Two things I want to point out!
    1. Just in case people may take it the wrong way, when I say "I cover in public, but not in my home", 'in my home' refers to just you alone and/or if your mahrams are around you. If you are at home but non-mahrams are around, then obviously you would have to cover up :)
    2. I used the hadith about the "women are created from the rib", and I know how many are confused on whether or not women in Islam were created from the rib or is it just an expression. I highly suggest watching this video below that explains the whole debate in detail!

Assalamualaikum my dear sister. Wonderful video! Can I request you a video about dealing with toxic family members (ie. Parents, siblings etc.) and how to take care of your femininity while being in such households because it seems really difficult to be fully in your feminine energy when there are constantly outward problems that make us generate masculine energy. Jazakallah khair!

Ya Allah don't make this world our biggest concern, Ya Allah forgive us and grant us Jannat ul Firdaus.,
May Allah make us among His pious believers, and may He accept all our right duas.

I have experienced a complete abstention from all things pretty for myself as a revert coming into hijaab, and it led to me experiencing a nervous breakdown. This video perfectly highlights a feminine quality of adorning oneself in your private space. Just as Aaisha Radhiyallahu anha had a single beautiful necklace that she received from a relative as a gift. So should we have a pair of earrings or a necklace or bracelet to show ourselves that appreciation. These things have not been forbidden to us. Sometimes we make the mistake of becoming extreme in our interpretation as we aim to get closer to Allah, where we take each piece of advice to an extreme and start to make permissible things impermissible. May Allah protect us and help us find balance.

@@imaanadams5987 Thank you for sharing that example sister! Yes, I totally understand how you would have a nervous breakdown. I, too, used to think that my hijab restricted me from being a girly girl, when Islam has never restricted that! I hope your journey as a revert has been getting better for you, may Allah protect us and reward us for all of our efforts :)
