I always have a Carolina Rig in the back of the boat. I tend to lean more toward a neko Rig instead of a shaky head now as I can use the same set up to wacky rig a senko for shallow cover, then go to neko deeper. And I will always have a jig tied on.
I fished a weightless texas rig worm with a piece of soder in between the point and eye of the hook or below the point depending on what the boater was throwing
Totally agree on c-rig. If shallow, I’ll go even lighter. Used 3/8 & 5/16 dragging a flat in 8-10’ @ Kerr last yr. Literally cast any direction & drag back. Cashed check & top 30 finish on c-rig & shakey

I have been wanting to give tournament bass fishing a shot so I've been researching co angling and this very informative video series came up. Please keep them coming and maybe a late bloomer can work his way up to the tour one day.

Love your videos. You tell instead of selling. Co Angler without a c-rig is like a carpenter without a hammer. Saw another commenter mention wacky rigs and they feel like a must. Do you replace a chatter bait with a popper? And what are your feelings on spooks? Thanks for the work you do.
Mr. Crews, your thought Tokyo rig vs shaking head? Or replace the popper for the Tokyo. Our waters will not be over 55 for about another month. We have a tournament end of April. (I live in Maine)

Spinnerbait and shakey head for me. I've caught many shakey head bass out of 30+ ft of water

The rig is only as strong as the leader right?
