I started with Anno 1603 so many years ago, it grabbed so much, the gameplay, especially the music, I had to play every game in the Anno series ever since, and I love them.

Elder scrolls II was the first item duplication glitch I found. It let you reload a character from a different save into your game. You could save your game, drop all your items than reload character that still had the items in inventory. It made money irrelevant because the items wouldn't despawn.

Not sure how you'd break Endless Space 2, but in Conan Exiles you can learn recipes to prepare food and beverages by visiting exotic locations, meeting interesting people, killing them and taking their shit, which usually includes said recipes. Also, you can enslave people to work on your farms and such so... it seems it would be right up your alley.

Anno 1404 was installed on the old HDD I re-used as a mass storage/archive when I built a new PC this March (2022). Must've been sitting on that HDD since I bought it back in the day as a physical copy. Anyone remember when you bought games on Floppy Disks/CDs/DVDs? Anyway... since that stupid Ubisoft wanna-be-Steam thing didn't work for me at the time, I simply tried clicking the Anno exe on that old installation, coming from a PC I had built in 2013 or so or perhaps even from the PC I had used before that one, not expecting any results. But... what do you know? It started up instantly and runs totally fine on my new PC. So yes: I'm still playing 1404 and I did play pretty much every title in the series up until 1404. Not so keen on the future- or industrial age-settings of the newer titles, but 1404 is pretty much a perfect game in my book anyway, so why switch to a newer title? :)
