That is what many people think and ignore the problem. It is very clear and evident that the kid has some issues, and I'm sure the parents are treating her too. Right treatment at the right age, the problem will disappear by the time she becomes a teen.

When I watched her videos a yr or 2 earlier, I did see some signs of her being in the Autism spectrum.
She is vocal, verbal and has other great skills going for her. Kindly take her to a Behaviour Analyst( qualified in ABA with the best credentials) for assessment if tou haven't already done so. Psychologists and Pediatricians may not have the perfect diagnostic tools for this assessment unless they make an effort to learn it apart from their regular education.
ABA and Analysis of Verbal Behaviour are robust sciences that have very effective teaching methods. God bless you. Wishing Vedha an eternity of happiness❤
Could you please help me with numbers or names of organizations in Chennai? I didn't take her to a phycologist or paediatrician, they were certified therapists who worked with children on the spectrum. They did a thorough analysis and said she didn't have adhd or autism. It was just that she learned languages through gestalt language processing.
Also, echolalia gets in the way of functional, meaningful use of language but is also a great strength because it enables learning. Not suggestive of Autism Spectrum Disorder by itself.
Weird! I wrote 3 responses with the names of centres and suggested reading, and for some reason, the responses are all missing!
