Great videos man you definetly know your stuff, I got a issue with my banshee just did top end and just did my first start was really heard to start and now the kick starter is so hard wth you think happen it was only on for 10sec then turned off started up again for five sec and that was it
I watch your videos a lot man! I did a complete rebuild and ported the cylinders...i can not get it to start!! it has spark, and when i put gas directly in the cylinder it fires up for 2 seconds So i got spark, am I missing something???? I tuned the carbs like you show on the other video Thank You
hay I'm building my first quad I'm not sure what to expect from her. let me know what you think and if it should be pretty quick. banshee -vito super stock .60 over pistons 65.5mm. v4 reeds. pj carbs 34s?I think. t5 pipes. noss head 21cc domes adjustable timeing plate plus 4* front sprocket is 15 teeth rear is 38 had 41. k&n 11inch long duel air filters no box. Will run on 93 pump gas if I have to do 50-50 of 110 so be it. I'm at sea level. I just hope she hauls on the straight aways. please just let me know what you think. I'm use to a 400rwhp turbo 2.0L 2500lbs car.
sr20boostjunkie Go 20cc on the domes, you'll be fine. I run 20cc domes at sea level on 93 all the time. it'll be a strong engine for sure. Might need to play with the gearing a bit to get it to make the power where you want it. it'll be around 65+ horses.
I recently purchased a banshee 350 twin installed new startor and carbs rebuilt, I know it's a fuel problem I have I cant get it to start unless I throw fuel through rears of carbs. Where did I go wrong seems like I'm not getting any fuel and also my chock springs back in when I pull it out????.
Hey Kevin I rode my banshee all day yesterday with no issues. I put it up for the went back out 2 to 3 hours later and she will do is crank and die. This morning same think just cranks and dies. Do u have any suggestions.
Just did a stock rebuild on my banshee , new heads , pistons, crank case and pj 34 carbs , starts right up but after a few mins doing the heat cycle in spits out a constant drip of oil from the breather tube , any ideas ? I’d appreciate it
Little late now but mine did the same and it ended up being a plugged rear vent. It was actually cast closed, so I took a punch and knocked out that thin piece of metal blocking the vent.
how many cycles im doing my first 96 banshee full build blasting frame ect...im running a two into 1 carb kehin 35 air striker with the oversized chariot float bowl chariot reed cages vitos superstock 65mm oversized radiator modquad hf impeller silicone hoses with engine ice....20cc domes on chariot cool head ill send pics when done bout a week or 2 oh and i got the dyna tek coil big stator and heavy mag flywheel. what should my operating temp be? and how long should i do heat cycles till i can open it up?
South Texas Banshee I have a question I redid the top end on my motor runs great I gave a couple of shots of gas just sitting there and It started revving up to full throttle ignition wouldn’t shut it off I pulled both spark plug wires off and it still was revving wide-open till I choke it out what is that
Yessir! Google it, tons and tons of guys run rotalla in the gear cases and and engines,trx450's 400ex, z400, anything with a wet clutch. Rotella-T is JASO-MA so it's ser clutch safe..it's the only oil I've used for 17 years in everyhting I own, from my road bike to my lawn mower. never had a single issue. great oil.
+Oneshotup, thr Rotella-T comes in 15w40. As far as I know its the only one JASO-MA rated. the T6 and others aren't. I'll admit to this, my gray banshee in the video on here was built in march 2 years 4 months ago. I never changed the tranny oil for that whole time and when I pulled the cover for and instructional video the oil was clean and still smelled like it was fresh from the jug. I was totally impressed. I have an hr meter on that bike, had 47ish hrs on that oil. if that oil is good enough for hard working turbo diesels hauling tons of hay a day, surely it work great in a plain old gear case in very mild temps compared to what a turbo sees.
+South Texas Banshee hey man that is great to know. I have been buying the Honda Trans oil only bc the guy I n purchased my Banshee from swore by it but I may look into the Rotella. Thanks for that bit of knowledge, I found you thru TrailBlogger btw. Great channel!
thank you so much for the videos l am from dubai

Can i run 19 cc domes and 93 octane I’m 2500 above sea level i have it with 68 mm pistons
An should I jet richer for heat cycles n break in ?
What main should I start with stock cylinders with wiseco 20 over pistons an bills pipes full exhaust and air pods
bill bowen, 310’s should make it pretty happy man.
Why do you put the fan on the rad? Does it run extra hot or something when you first start the bike?
My shee is making a knocking sound coming from the clutch cover side after a full rebuild any idea wat it could be ?
Just did a stock rebuild on my banshee , new heads , pistons, crank case and pj 34 carbs , starts right up but after a few mins doing the heat cycle in spits out a constant drip of oil from the breather tube , any ideas ? I’d appreciate it
Mine does that when I over fill the oil
Little late now but mine did the same and it ended up being a plugged rear vent. It was actually cast closed, so I took a punch and knocked out that thin piece of metal blocking the vent.
Did you take the packing out of the exhaust?

Do 3 complete heat cycles, then plug chop it 1-6 and have fun.
Nice vid as usual , how do u like that oil . I use Honda 80-85w
love the oil, run it in all 8 my quads and every quad I've owned the past 17 years.
+South Texas Banshee ive seen another banshee guy running it , Do you think it'll run good in a Yz250 2 stroke also
+dshamar14 yup, I know it will.
