I came home from work and took my little sleep as usual to come „down“. Before, I watched the first half of this video till I fell asleep and „experienced“ some whatsoever oneness-state. Then i woke up and watched a little more. Then my son came in the room saying: „Mom told me that i should tell you to wake up.“ I said: „That’s what this guy keeps on saying.“ Thank you 🙏🏻

I’ve been suffering through a very long and painful divorce which was the culmination of a very long and painful marriage. I wanted love from her, and I wanted people to know that “Paul” had a beautiful wife. She’s had many lovers since the divorce began, and I wanted to compete with her so that I could prove that “Paul” is an attractive and desirable person. And eventually all of my desire and my attachment to my painful story became a burden that I couldn’t bear, and it was going to going to kill me if I didn’t put it down. So I put it down. And now here you are... and here I am. And existence can be like a clear, calm water if you let it.
Find out if the stories are actually by, for, or about anyone. I am the very definition of peace. And we are the same every-thing/no-thing.

What popped up in my mind when you talked about the arrogant unit "over there" is that I created that Fredness Unit so I can teach myself through Fredness unit about myself. Haha, love myself ❤

It's seen here that it's impossible to "understand" nonduality and that a great leap forward is when the quest to understand is abandoned.

Surely the moment you have the realisation then your awake.
There is awakening, but contrary to logic, it doesn't happen to anyone. No one is awake. There is only Awakeness, which can present as Conscious Awakeness or unconscious awakeness. Either way there is only Awakeness; the appearances appearing upon it neither add nor subtract anything.

The keys are found and then I lose the keys. Over and over again.
The problem isn't with the keys; it's the belief in an "I" who can either find or lose anything.

Do you have a video about what happens after death?
I am the Unborn, the One without-a-second, beyond history or future, life or death, heaven or hell. There is no opposite to Me. I, Awakeness, know nothing about this rumor of death, and thus I don't take it seriously.
Now, experience tells us that units come and units go. But units are unmanned, animated cadavers. They are tools for vicarious experiencing. They appear to appear; they appear to disappear, yet they neither live nor die.
I understand that a major characteristic of awakened or enlightened beings is, that self referential thoughts (I/me/my), the chatter of the mind, are gone or are at least have become insignificant in any state(not just , say, meditation). I think, it's a long way and may be lots of work to get there. How then would a sudden awakening be possible , except in rare and lucky cases?
If you think it's a long way and may be lot of work to there, the odds are that you are right--for you.
I cannot explain what I myself do not understand.

We was all in that state before we learned language, you have the power to stop using language if you want it’s not difficult.
Ask yourself who is that chatter talking to?
The spirit knows the body, the body senses the spirit.
The body can only corrupt the spirit, the spirit can only purify the body?
There is something that knows the body. Which because it is what the body is experienced by, is prior to the body. Therefore, the body cannot corrupt that something. You might call that something the sense of being, awakeness or awareness.
Hi Fred, great video. What do you think of the idea that most teachers (awakened) have very strong personalities, due to them, prior to awakening, possessing "big" ego's?
I have found that the general public, including seeker's, confuse the powerful personality of an authentic teacher for arrogance, and evidence that they remain under the grip of ego. Interested to hear your thoughts.
The Universe is happy to turn ego to its own purposes. If there wasn't some arrogance over here, I would have never left my living room to share This. So, there is very much something to what you say, but in order to be truthful I need to report that there is still some utterly unfounded arrogance here. I don't know whose it is, but I notice is can still arise, even if it doesn't do so regularly.
@@FredDavisNonduality Yes, I know exactly what you mean. It doesn't arise very often, and when it does, it is quickly seen, thus losing the power it used to have.
The way I see it, everything is really, already fine. It's just the egoic program that blurts out "No it isn't!" Then it's a matter of believing that chatterbox, or not.
There is also the matter of who it is that is doing the believing or not-believing.

So what's next? Awareness doesn't need a body or objective reality. But what's next? Living in this world I need or believe I need to earn money to feed my son, put a roof over our head etc so how do I do that? I
How has that body been doing that so far? Consider allowing that tradition to continue until it does't, at which point the body will be seen to be doing something else. IT happens.
Who IS ( then) doing the actions that are going on? " Actions in Every Case are performed by the 3 guna-s. He whose mind is deluded by the sense "I" holds " I am the doer " - - bhagavad gita Chapt 3. 27. And/or as Nisargagatta said you are not so much living, as 'being lived' .
Actions happen.

That who or what is why you were drawn here. You don't yet know. If there was anyone here, he would know.
There is no "personal you" to surrender. That which is not here cannot possibly surrender.
The intellect that thinks it is an object (projecting that there are separate objects "out there" that circulary "confirms" there is a person/object "here") assumes objects don't have the one Intelligence, As It. Where is the line drawn, where i has intelligence and "something else" doesn't? Is it around some neurons, at the neck, the skin or some electromagnetic field around it - the latter of which (and the air and the matter that enter the body) are contiguous with all else "out there". "Everything Else" surrenders Its idea that there is a local space'time intelligence - AS the experience of "personal surrender". Any "me" already Is That, and there's certainly nothing wrong to surrendering to that Fact (unavoidable one way or another, only a matter of imagined time that puts off that it is Now). Is "Fred" talking, or the mouth, the tongue/lips, the vocal chords/neurons - or the whole Universe/Me?

Hi, Naomi! You are nonlocatable. You don't need or even want to collapse/dissolve anything, because there is only You. You are behind that unit's eyes, but you are also in front of them. Plus, of course, you are the eyes themselves.
It's your invisibility that's confusing you.You are the Invisible Infinite Wholeness, there's no way to "see" or "experience" you. The thing that thinks, "It feels like I'm behind the eyes," IS AWAKENESS ITSELF.
