Garab Dorje (c. 665) was the first human to receive the complete direct transmission teachings of Sutra, Tantra and Dzogchen from Vajrasattva. Garab Dorje then became the teacher of Dzogchen ("Great Perfection", also called Ati Yoga) teachings according to Tibetan Buddhist and Nyingma school traditions.
According to the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism, Garab Dorje transmitted the complete empowerments of Dzogchen to Manjushrimitra, who was regarded as his chief disciple. Padmasambhava is also known to have received the transmission of the Dzogchen tantras directly from Garab Dorje.

hi jayasara i have listened to quite a few and this one to me stands out for both the teaching and its production well done!
It does however raise many questions for me regarding the various traditions and their practices propagating this or that activity towards something!
There are provisional and definitive teachings, depending on the audience, context, etc. Pith instructions like these are more definitive and pith.
Could you explain why the teaching in this clip stands out for you? By the way no activity whatsoever is needed, just rest in the conscious being in which everything arises including ricky clarke. Like looking back on any dream after having left the erroneous personal perspective.

Life functions consciously and unconsciously simultaneously. Therefore, consciousness is how something does something (adverb); not what something is (noun).
Letting Now be as pleasant as possible, simply being aware of being aware.
Life eternally actualizes infinite potential, because only Eternity can fully embrace Infinity.
The destination is the Way.
Now is constant/eternal. Perception is variable/temporal.
Every arrival is a new point of departure.
That which is, that is nothing in particular (actual), is by definition everything in general (potential).
