Welp Im saving this video. My 05 1.7 civic was acting like it was starving for fuel yesterday and this evening it wont start. The fuel pump was leaking a few months back so it was replaced but my fuel tank got really low the other day so Im wondering if the pump sucked up something from the bottom of the tank.. I was hoping for an easy in line fuel filter swap hehe guess not.
I replaced mine and now it won’t turnover. That black plug on the underside of the new filter with whatever wire that was, broke. I tried my best to attach and feel like the connection is good. Idk. I’m frustrated.
this is so funny, I actually just order that top part for my fuel pump, but not because I wanted to change the filter, but because the plastic was cracking and gas fumes were escaping into the cabin. anyways, I got the top part on ebay, but mine didnt include those O-rings your kits came with. I wonder where I would be able to get those or where I could find the part numbers for those. honda is a real bitch trying to get little things related to the fuel pump, hence why i had to go aftermarket for the top piece. anyways, I doubt u know about those O rings since it came in a kit. could you point me in the direction on where you bought the whole kit, maybe the part number of the kit? I can return the one i got that didnt have the rings and order the one you got. thanks for any help!
They really need all that bulky stuff in there? In tank, means my fuel filter has probably never been changed.. once if I'm lucky. What a pain in the a$$
thank you from a civic owner...
Dude the color of your civic fire 🔥
Preciate it. Check out the other videos on it, showing the full bodyworkk and paint process and also the roof flake process

I'm wondering how the P Jelly didn't eat through yer mitts, those weren't latex gloves? O-rings are rubber tho, right, they should be fine.
