    I've only just been trying to workout and find a good respawn on position for my ALiVE mission. This is perfect timing that this tutorial popped up. Basically, you could have a mobile HQ position for respawn, like the AFV, and have it in strategic locations. Really good idea!
    BTW. What happens if the tank is destroyed?

      If it's destroyed you won't have a spawn. Make it indestructible if you want to avoid that.

    Hello! This really helped me out! I do have a question though.
    Is there anyway you can make respawns specific to certain groups/players
    Example: Alpha squad members can only spawn on other alpha squad members and not bravo squad members?

      Hmm it's probably doable, not quite sure how though. I'll look into it.

    So if I wanted to do a sector control game, but I wanted to make a respawn available for whichever team controls the point, how would I make that possible? So like say, csat captures point A, now they can spawn there and nato can’t, but then nato captures point A, and now nato can spawn there but csat can’t

    got the respawn markers and flags going, they just dont seem to move with whatever entity ive linked it too, any chance you know why?
    EDIT: Ill expand to be abit more helpful, the marker and respawn are linkec correctly, however the respawn location and marker does not follow any of the used vehicles/infantry

      @@wilsn if you used the sample mission and followed how to do this, there isn't any reason it shouldn't be moving. I'm not sure why it's not, but you might have missed something in the setup.

      There is a way to have a TH-cam video play in an intro, but it's complicated.

      @@OnlineCombatBN Hmmm. I see. Do you know if it is possible to play a video on a screen? Similarly to displaying a photo or slideshow on an object/screen/tv in ArmA? (context trying to play a tribute video with audio for my unit's 7th year anniversary!)

    Ok M8... Ive only recently been doing Arma 3 Missions... I use the "Faster" software to run my dedicated server.... For some reason I can only use 6 Mods - If I use any more I get the same error message for Multiplayer - It says all slots are taken on startup and yet no one is online... Server is there etc.... Just no player slots, it always says 0/0... Remove a mod - any mod and then 0/30 etc.... Any idea whats going on here ???? Im about to start Arma Reforger so maybe this doesnt happen in that, however that editor looks like a freeking nightmare to understand...

      I've never used the Faster software. That error sounds like a 'feature' more than a bug. Try contacting the software dev for the program.
      And yea, the editor for Reforger is an absolute mess, so much so, I haven't bothered with it at all. Unless they fix that the game won't last as long as Arma 3 has.

    Hello mate, I make missions for me and my brother to play, When he dies and respawns, if we have the same weapon, I lose my gun the second he respawns. Just the primary nothing else. , I have this in onPlayerRespawn; P1 setVariable ["Saved_Loadout",getUnitLoadout P1];
    P2 setVariable ["Saved_Loadout",getUnitLoadout P2]; and this: onPlayerKilled: P1 setVariable ["Saved_Loadout",getUnitLoadout P1];
    P2 setVariable ["Saved_Loadout",getUnitLoadout P2]; - I'm just not sure where I'm going wrong, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Is there any chance you could make a tutorial on having an IFV drop off boarded troops and lay cover fire while they assault an enemy position, currently trying this with an RHS BMP but every time the bmp takes fire the passengers begin a cycle of endlessly climbing on and off of the BMP while it spazzes out and runs them over rather than following waypoints set
