Hey I removed from box subwoofer with integrated power supply (of course neighbors was mad) then I try to connect sub into regular 4 ohm speakers amplifier and in results my subwoofer act like a mid-range speaker, why? 😮
You need to get 1 more Big D and strap them together and test them at 1ohms strapped.

I will say that I am really surprised that this amp made almost 5,000 watts and ran smoothly at HALF AN OHM! That's just mind blowing for such a cheap amp!

If it did .5 ohm resistive, it would drive a lot of speaker.
I don't see it playing for more than 5 minutes at a time before it melts down

U can run 2ch amps bridged at 2ohms which say 4ohm, so there ya go.... Not a big shocker
It would be a great idea to run some of these amps at like half volume a few hours a day see how long they last. I know that's a huge ask!

For that price, it’s awesome. But how long it will last is another story. Only time will tell.
I'm pretty sure a cooling fan or two and mounting in a place the amp can breath might help.
This amp did a lot better than I would have thought. Price per watt makes it somewhat reasonable for someone without a lot of dosh sitting around.

WOW🤩👍Now this is one of the best deals on an amplifier I've ever seen. Over 2,200rms watts of continuous power! Over 4500rms watts of power burst at .50 all day long for $150. Other amplifier companies need to take note on this half ohms amp. Big D you need to buy 1 more amplifier and strap them together and do a 1ohms continuous amp dyno test .50ohms per amp.

As a veteran of many crunch amps in the early 2000s I can say This is phenomenal power. I have only seen amps get smoked in a few ways. Driving them past their capacity. Incorrect or inadequate hookup. Or other carelessness. Most people are not going to even use 75% of the capacity of this amplifier. Your kids will be digging them out of the garage and installing them in their first car 😅
This is budget power not saying that's bad but the most common setups these days are 3-5k watts.

Ok i picked one of these up because of this video. I really love this amplifier!! Big boy puts out plenty power for two 12s. gain @ 9 o'clock. I did get different screws at tractor supply that use Allen's key that is soo much better than the Phillips screws. Seriously grab one if you have a budget system going you will not be disappointed! The big 3 upgrade is a must. Thanks for the review. Have a fosgate 401S 1200 i should send you

Being a teenager driving around dreaming of 1500 watts back when power cost about $1 per watt I must say I'm a little envious of the teenagers now days. Back then as a broke teenager on a budget you had a 100 watt Urban brand amp from Ames department store that probably put out 50 watts if you were lucky while drooling over the latest offerings from Rockford, US Amps, Orion, Phoenix Gold etc... in the magazines.

I mean, its probably not the most reliable amplifier ever, but for $150, it makes way more clean power than i thought. Bet it makes 3k at half ohm uncertified.
If you watch until the end, half ohm made 4940 watts dynamic
Exact same topology as a JP23, skar RP2000.1, cab 2200, and quite similar to cab 1600
Without seeing the amp, I can tell you it uses IRF640s on the output and IRF3205's on the power supply.
PWM switching is accomplished by a pair of error op amps feeding into each other....

Just received this amp yesterday, was able to purchase for $149 the next day you uploaded it. It's a bargain for the dollar per watt. Just hope it lasts lol. Love your videos Big D. and thanks for letting us know about this deals.
All you need is a nice 60Hz sine wave oscillator at the input, a transformer at the speaker output, and you got a nice inverter.
Watching this video you just get the feeling the magic smoke is right there, ready to go poof. Probably on day 31.
They'll sell a bunch of these things at the price quoted but, I seriously doubt those buying them will have the electrical necessary to support the current draw.
Exactly. $150 for the amp is fine but add another 300-500 for dedicated battery, an isolator, and wiring/terminals you'll need to get anything near the rated power

Nesa is a car electronics brand actually here in the US. Yes all built in china but still a domestic brand. They also affiliated with Farenheit. They are known for their inexpensive but vast rearr seat entertainment systems like overheads and headrest monitors etc. They also have this line of mobile audio products. Based out of California.
Why not make the amps hear?? These companies are so greedy and cheap.
Just the way it's set up on the outside reminds me so much of the Audiopipe APMI 2000

Crazy how cheap power is now. Back when I competed in SPL a decade ago, a decent 1500 RMS amp was double the price of this thing. Nutty. Maybe I should build a new SPL vehicle now...
Big "D" and I are from the same generation.... Back in the 90's, amp pricing was pretty standard at $1 per watt AND, 1,000 watt amps were almost unheard of, much less 5,000 watt. My, how things have changed.

The value proposition for sub amps is absolutely crazy. Last amp I bought was a JL 1000/1 for $900.
OK it makes over 900 watts at 4 ohms. For $150 that right there is huge value. Anything else is gravy. The fact that it makes 3000W at 1 ohm is absolutely fantastic. Sadly it's not a 9K amplifier. But, if you can set things up for a .5ohm load, you can get a full 5K out of it. I assume these tests are not done with bass boost cranked all the way up either which may add a bit more power. Even though it doesn't make the 9KW claimed, it still makes really big power for a $150 amplifier. In this case, I don't mind it not quite meeting it's full ratings. A whole lot different than an amp rated at 1K making 150W.

All I can think of is amps like the hifonics Zeus from the late 90's and how much it cost to have 900 watts.

I remember any amplifier in the 500 w range and up was probably no less than $1,500. I rented my first apartment a couple of years after that for $275 a month. The new generation doesn't realize how incredibly expensive this stuff used to be.

A Google search of the address on the warranty card shows that Power Acoustik Electronics, Epsilon Electronics, NESA International, Sunbiz, Precision Power, and Soundstream Technologies all operate out of the same building. Are these all different names for the same products?
I think it looks very similiar to a jl audio rd 1500/1 even has same style light in the center for power

That amp is 95% similar as BB5000D belva, and that amp shakes an Orion hcca 12.2 really well no doubt..

I've always wondered when you turn up the gain or bass boost it seemingly makes the amp output more power, bass,watts? I know you match your gains but what about other settings and can or do they raise wattage?
to calculate efficiency for example the two ohm burst you take voltage 14.42*current(170.6) = 2460 watts. Then take the indicated watts (1563/2460)= 63 pct. Idk where you get your efficiency numbers, it's like you just make them up to sell the amp better?
It probably isn't 9000 watts but its still a great amp for the price with some good power

everything is now a days lol. I bought a harmony audio 1500.1 for $250 2 years ago and it is still kicking hard, blew a windshield out of my car with it wired at .5ohms last summer.

For that price nobody can complain really, I mean good luck buying anything branded that makes more than 300-400w at 4 ohm for that price. If that thing also proves to be reliable over time its a steal!
