I agree when I was 125 lbs at 5’11 6-7% bf my friends told me that I looked like that I have some diseases, my cheeks are fully sucked in and I looked way older. You can actually look leaner when you put on muscle even at higher bf but you know youre not leaner because your face doesnt look like you are gonna die. I am at 165 lbs 10-11% bf now my face looks healthy and my body actually looks leaner with more muscle
125x0,07=8.75lbs fat 165x0,1=16,5lbs fat this is what most don’t get cause they suck at math. 10% bodyfat for a 200 pound guy is way more total fat than 10% for a 100 pound guy but it doesn’t look like it because its more spread out hence the body is bigger, but facial differences are night and day.
Dragler yes I agree because you dont grow much muscle on your face. A offseason bodybuilder sometimes still have veins and a bit of muscle seperation but cover up their body and just show their face theyll look obese. Dorian and ronnie coleman offseason face are so puffy and fat but their body dont look that fat because of their huge muscles
Totally agree with the main message of the video. I would also add that some faces are genetically predisposed to store more fat. In my case, the extra kilos are first noticeable in the face.
Me too, cheeks especially. I’ve never been overweight, 17-16% bf max, but I recently decided to cut to around 12% simply to have abs, but now my face looks dramatically better, people mention it and treat me completely differently. Crazy that all it took was 5 weeks of hard dieting. Hopefully I can maintain this cause for the first time I feel good about my appearance. My body was always decent but now when I see old pictures I see how chubby my face was when I was a mere 10 pounds heavier.
It's quite amazing to me really. I've helped a few people get ready for their weddings and they all say the same thing, how good they were able to look on their wedding day because their faces had more angularity. But most lack the ability to just make the simple changes into their lifestyles. The main reason being they don't talk to their partners and tell them that's how they want to be year round so their environment pushes them back in to bad habits
Working out and eating healthy is closest thing we have to the fountain of youth. I've been working out for just a couple years and have made decent progress. I recently showed people a picture of me from ten years ago and they all said it looked like I aged in reverse.
Before this whole quarantine thing started i started going to a local gym and did quite a bit of cardio everyday to the point where my cheekbones and jaw line were starting to look very noticeable now after 5 months of staying home am starting to look like one big circle again
Its amazing how the chin looks receding when you have some fat around/under it vs when you have low fat % and the chin looks a lot bigger and stronger.
If the average guy were to lose weight, workout a bit, improve his confidence and build his self esteem, he would become attractive enough to get into a relationship with an attractive enough girl (6s, 7s, occasional 8s). Maybe he wouldn't get a 'top tier' woman but he would have this part of his life handled. And maybe I'm in the minority when I say this but having access to attractive enough women is enough for me. I'm not pussy mad. I have other things going on in my life that I care far more about.
putting your body in full survival mode(crazy fasting), then coming back to a good diet, then regularly going through that cycle, they believe it has good affects around anti-aging... these dudes do look young still for their age.
I was always chubby. Kinda saw myself as ugly. I quit eating fast food. Stopped drinking milk. Jogged every day. I lost a ton of weight and my skin looked photopped. Not a blemish or pimple in sight. My face slimmed down and I noticed people were nicer to me. I saw an old high school friend and he literally offered me a job where he worked. I had two instructors in college bump my grade from a B to an A… one of those classes was art. Girls were nicer to me. People gravitated more to me, and in general, I was more respected. When I was chubby, my eyes looked droopy and I looked upset all the time. When I lost the weight, the puffyness from my eyes were gone and I looked more approachable. Being fit / skinny does wonders
I swear, Christian bale is the modern Marlon Brando. He is just such a great actor , that he gets roles of all varieties and he effin nails all of em. Most actors can't top their iconic roles that they get to play one in a lifetime. This guy did Batman, and owned it, still when I watch his another movie, I don't see Batman reincarnate, I see someone completely different and original and brilliant. Truly mind boggling what this guy has accomplished. He is truly my no.1 fav actor ever
I dunno. I’ve been pretty lean before and I simply do not have as nice of a facial bone structure as the people you mentioned. Sure everyone’s face looks better when it’s more lean, but not everyone can quite match up to the actors with square jaws and prominent cheek bones
Shit, I was lean in my teens. Never ashamed to take my shirt off. How times change. What's really weird is that in those days I wanted to put on weight, now I'm desperate to get it off. I have to say though that facially I've improved, what's that old saw, everyone over 40 gets the face they deserve. A few lines here and there.
Face ist the only thing what matters. But if u r 40 its already over. Probably doubt that u are fat and ur face looks "better". Time to cope or to rope.
So I have a story about this phenomenon: Back in 2018 I lost 35kg from around March to November, I’d been a healthy weight before but I’d never had good body composition until then. I also got braces to fix my bite, my top teeth were fine, the teeth on my jaw though had messed my bite up, so by the beginning of 2019 my bite was fixed and I started that mewing thing because why not? Over 2019 I put some weight back on in a healthy way as I continued to rock climb and do some gym stuff. I had some muscle memory from other rock climbing periods and weight lifting, but I hadn’t done either for more than about three months at a time so there were plenty of newbie gains in the tank, so the weight was basically all lean tissue. In 2019 I started growing my facial hair out for the first time and have a nice little goatee type thing (moustache+chin hair, no handlebars joining the two), and in 2020 I really let my hair grow long since my hair was -and is- always getting compliments. Beginning in 2020 I began to feel really strange looking in the mirror. Already by he end of 2019 dating had become so much easier, but by the end of 2020 I realised that I’d changed my appearance so drastically so quickly that I had to do a double take when I saw my face in the mirror. I’m now fortunately past this stage, but if you change your appearance -even for the better- very quickly, you should be ready to have a similar problem. Not many people go from obese to skinny but athletic (and getting more athletic every month), grow facial hair for the first time, change the look of their face by fixing their bite, and grow their hair long within two years, so maybe nobody can relate. I didn’t use steroids, but maybe those who have experienced something similar if they were a hyper responder to juice.
Another example I must point out if it’s not in the video yet (I just started it) is Taylor Lautner. Maybe 2-4 years after the twilight stuff when he was no longer in that 10% body fat level, dude’s face changed.
I’m definitely someone who looks completely different with just 30lbs of fat. Went from 235 to 205 (I’m 5’10) so I was still overweight but my face looked completely different.
I know im 8 months late but i have an explanation. Along with losing weight, building muscle increases overall testorone in the body, which makes you look "manlier"
I legit went from like a 5/10 to 7.5/10 just by losing around 10 pounds, I still am skinny fat and have a little bit of double chin and have around 10 more pounds to lose, losing fat literally makes you look and feel 10x better.
U r not a 7,5 i promise. Maybe on a Skala from 1 to 100. But not on psl.

@ yeah 100 %. I noticed that most average guys will rate themselves a 7.5, when they're actually probably a 5. Think about this for a moment if you're average height, you're already a 5 in that physical attribute. 6 inch dick; again average. These two attributes may have as much weight in attractiveness as facial attractiveness. So you'd have to be a 10/10 which nobody is to then become a 7 or 7.5. Its literally an impossibility. In my honest opinion you'd have to be a minimum of 6-6 1 to even have a chance of being a 9.

Genrally being very lean makes a man appear more attractive assuming they are in their 20s and 30s... men 40s plus loosing weight can be both positive and negitive on looks as it can bring out wrinkles more, make skin sag more and increase the groves under the eyes.
They say the face is the display of our health. This goes for musculature, bodyfat percentage (ex: sometimes one can 'tell' if one has abs just by their face) as well as immune system health. The face reveals much more about a person's overall health, and that translates into attraction.

This is a good video and 100% true I remember when I started getting leaner I would get more female attention, apparently they can see if you have a lean physique (even if it’s subtle) through your clothing
You can still get girls if your not lean but the won’t be some BADDD bitches. And if you want true female desire being lean is the best way to naturally have that.
Man you really hit the nail on the head with this video. Everything you say is so absolutely true. In my own case when I’m overweight I noticed I don’t turn a lot of heads and get rejected when I asked for phone numbers. On the other hand when I’m weighing around 45 pounds lighter than what I’m at right now my God I have women coming up to me literally wanting to talk and get to know me better. Wink wink. I guess I’ve just gotten very lazy this last year and a half with the pandemic. But I made a conscious decision to go ahead and lose the weight I figure it’s gonna take me around 4 months I’m gonna take it slow about 10 pounds a month which I’ve done before. Hopefully this time I’ll keep it off
When you’re talking about 10-12% bodyfat being ideal, you are talking about males only, since women naturally have a higher percentage. A woman can have 25% bodyfat and look fit

Hello Derek, just helping the algorithm
Chris We have no clue how much muscle you have man
Dragler yes I agree because you dont grow much muscle on your face. A offseason bodybuilder sometimes still have veins and a bit of muscle seperation but cover up their body and just show their face theyll look obese. Dorian and ronnie coleman offseason face are so puffy and fat but their body dont look that fat because of their huge muscles
I'm 5"10 and around 140 lbs and very skinny. Didn't you feel super weak if you only weighed 125 at some point?
@@ollijokinen1571 Ofc, I have thin bones/joints. Now that I am 165 lbs and filled out, I look 180 lbs because of my small joints and my leanness

christian bale is crazy disciplined, i'm amazed
Rumor has it his Delts got so big they started their own channel.
What??? Dad bod is not in??
People keep thinking dad bod = "blob." It never did. It always mean generally in shape/ok looking but never perfect.
Totally agree with the main message of the video. I would also add that some faces are genetically predisposed to store more fat. In my case, the extra kilos are first noticeable in the face.
It's common with far East Asians
Mine too looool
Me too, cheeks especially. I’ve never been overweight, 17-16% bf max, but I recently decided to cut to around 12% simply to have abs, but now my face looks dramatically better, people mention it and treat me completely differently. Crazy that all it took was 5 weeks of hard dieting. Hopefully I can maintain this cause for the first time I feel good about my appearance. My body was always decent but now when I see old pictures I see how chubby my face was when I was a mere 10 pounds heavier.
@Davud Isbarkhanli then continue to lose weight. Go to around 12% and then bulk up again and repeat the proces
What most fitness folks think is 10% is really about 15%.
The main reason being is their lifestyle choices and values, not an external environment or some conversation with partner.
Working out and eating healthy is closest thing we have to the fountain of youth. I've been working out for just a couple years and have made decent progress. I recently showed people a picture of me from ten years ago and they all said it looked like I aged in reverse.
Before this whole quarantine thing started i started going to a local gym and did quite a bit of cardio everyday to the point where my cheekbones and jaw line were starting to look very noticeable now after 5 months of staying home am starting to look like one big circle again
for real i too was getting very thin had abs and now im back to sq one..

Its amazing how the chin looks receding when you have some fat around/under it vs when you have low fat % and the chin looks a lot bigger and stronger.
That’s because of neck fat.
I hope that’s how it is for me but I think I do just have a bad chin 😔

Every man at his peak body is at least 7 and perfect. Everyone of us already look masculine just covered by body fat
I have other things going on in my life that I care far more about.
putting your body in full survival mode(crazy fasting), then coming back to a good diet, then regularly going through that cycle, they believe it has good affects around anti-aging... these dudes do look young still for their age.
you can always be thinner

2:15 that hair density tho =)
There’s an interview with rogan where mccanoughay said the weight loss for Dallas buyers club permanently altered and deformed his face a bit
One of the best videos I’ve seen in awhile. A lot of truth in this
Another example I must point out if it’s not in the video yet (I just started it) is Taylor Lautner.
I’m a female, and my face looks better leaned up too
Mac from it’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
its only a matter of time before he tell us he's gay just like mac 😂
I also noticed that working out makes the face more attractive regardless of leanness.
Can agree. You also just mentally act more attractive and confident once your physical aspects improve. Basically a snowball effect
U r not a 7,5 i promise.
Maybe on a Skala from 1 to 100.
But not on psl.
@@doghead8952 PSL is out of 8, he’s talking about the normie scale (10/10) but yeah he likely isn’t a 7.5. Most people overrate their looks, myself included back then.
How long did it take you to achieve that? And what did you do
@ yeah 100 %.

The most unrealistic thing about the Machinist was that he was having sex frequently with a hooker.
While in real life, that insanely low level of body fat would completely destroy anyone’s libido.

All three are insane transformations, I have stretch marks from being chubby as a kid. I can imagine gaining that much weight on purpose. That’s nuts.
I can relate, I was the fat kid growing up
@@ChristianThomasLeitel same, and I never knew what made me different. If someone would’ve told me calories in vs calories out it would’ve changed everything. Better late then never to find the truth. Lol
Genrally being very lean makes a man appear more attractive assuming they are in their 20s and 30s... men 40s plus loosing weight can be both positive and negitive on looks as it can bring out wrinkles more, make skin sag more and increase the groves under the eyes.
*I always wondered what Earthworm Jim looked like without the suit.*
Imagine if actresses did this for a role. 🤯 They'd have to have a lot of courage and commitment to do that.
They say the face is the display of our health. This goes for musculature, bodyfat percentage (ex: sometimes one can 'tell' if one has abs just by their face) as well as immune system health. The face reveals much more about a person's overall health, and that translates into attraction.
Tom Cruise wasn’t fat in tropic thunder he was wearing a fat suit and prosthetics on his forearms. I’ve watched the documentary on that film and it’s really good!

He’s right I had an illness that affected my weight for years. Since being cured I feel and look much better
When you’re talking about 10-12% bodyfat being ideal, you are talking about males only, since women naturally have a higher percentage. A woman can have 25% bodyfat and look fit
i uused to look like the machinist when i was on drugs, i would rather be on the heavier side any day, people dont treat you with respect when you look emaciated. i got tired of getting my ass beat every time i turned around when i was lean and living on the street, so i secured housing and gained 75 pounds, and never looked back
Thanks. More please 😊

Mewing won't help much getting a good jawline or cheekbones, it will help raising the hyoid and keeping the tongue in it's natural place, but if you want good changes after puberty you have to hard mew, and apply the force mostly in the root of the tongue
