I'm a long-term fps player and I prefer randomness in game play.
I don't this it's as black and white as "new like random old no"
Veterans like to hold the reins of skill even in games of randomness
I'm pretty sure it's just a GAMEPLAY PREFERENCE. If it wasn't, Roguelite/like would never be as popular as they are/were
Also honestly chest is about making the least bad mistakes to win than it is to making the best choices.
