I grew up with siblings so, unlike only children, I did have people around my age that I showed my true self to. I've never been in a relationship in my entire almost 21 year career on earth (💀) and so the idea of being with someone, never mind someone you've just met, and acting the same around them as I do (or similar to) with my siblings aka letting them see how you act at home (my only reference is life with my siblings and how I act around them), etc... feels very, very scary. yet liberating. you guys are super cool is what I'm trying to say :)

Show who you are from the start. You might be surprised how guys react to that. Perhaps a guy who's a little older might have the maturity to handle who you are.

I am 64 years old married for 45 years, and I hate labels that people need. Your refreshing to say the least. No BS for you. Your raw and yet very down to earth. Whether that comes from your youth, or your own sensibility, I don't know. However, it is refreshing to see. When I dated almost 50 years ago, labeling everything was the norm. Oh do not date anyone not of your race, don't socialize with her, she is guy, don't talk about finances, or heaven forbid sex with anyone. We, my husband and I grew up with strict parents. We could not even stay alone in a house we purchased before we married. It was crazy. But times have changed. Still you need to be cautious and honest. I would not have probably let him stay over night, but It seemed to work out. You were very lucky. Min is a good man. Your a smart lady and I am glad to watch both of your growth as individuals and as a couple.

This caught my eye bc I identify as queer (pan) and I’m fluid with the way I present (both “masc” and “femme”). I can’t say I ever felt such a pressure, I guess you can say I was lucky in my environment. My whole grade school years I dressed “like a tomboy” but these days I just wear whatever is comfy or I like. At work it’s very nice clothes and way more femme, at home it’s probably the shirt on the floor and some shorts 😂😂😂 I kind of do whatever, sometimes I have my nails all done for months, and other times I have them looking rough haha I appreciate you sharing your story, and I hope you don’t feel and pressure to live your life how you want. As for my tinder, I would say it was mainly upset body selfies, so couldn’t really tell my attire. 🧐

I don’t have much dating experience , only had one bf before and dating here and there haha so it’s interesting learning how ppl come together. I have one question if there were no labels did that mean that both of y’all were free to see other ppl during the time you were not together but still casual? Good questions! I guess we could have seen someone else, but we mutually had a “feeling” we didn’t/ wouldn’t want to, but I suppose we could have an did any of us did, then it wouldn’t have been a problem since we both (at the time) weren’t looking for a relationship. Also, there really wasn’t much time apart. Honestly maximum 1 week 😂 other than that we were practically living together, so I guess just in our actions we were together (even though we never asked each other, we did tell a few friends who asked that we were together 😂)
Can you share how his parents react to him being in a relationship with you? Cause I’ve heard a lot of korean parents don’t want their kids to marry outside of their ethnicity?
Bumble is used here, I never used it so can’t say how much, but mainly used by foreigners I think. Tinder is more widely known and used amongst all people here

It is no different then any other relationship, if someone meets someone they like.. and I don’t like labels so you can’t call me bi or w/e lol I think the “term” for me would be pansexual though~ Like in a girl and boy relationship the girl meets a guy she likes, is no different if I meet a girl.. girl or guy doesn’t really change the outcome~ But I am happy with my partner for life, not saying there won’t be other great people who might enter my life, but I am confident I found my one :)

I found it really comforting to see you present/dress/ be yourself even on ur TH-cam videos. I love dressing in my basic tshirt outfit, “masc” vibes but I’ve been struggling w the concept of feeling pressured to be “femme” when trying to date men… idk but this just …. I needed to see this. Question, in your tinder pics Jae, this is an odd question but what were they giving? Bc even on tinder I still pressured to show only femme pics even tho majority of the time I prefer more masc/androgynous looks
I can’t say I ever felt such a pressure, I guess you can say I was lucky in my environment. My whole grade school years I dressed “like a tomboy” but these days I just wear whatever is comfy or I like. At work it’s very nice clothes and way more femme, at home it’s probably the shirt on the floor and some shorts 😂😂😂
I kind of do whatever, sometimes I have my nails all done for months, and other times I have them looking rough haha

As for my tinder, I would say it was mainly upset body selfies, so couldn’t really tell my attire. 🧐
Hello!! I’m late to the party but recently came to know you two and appreciate learning about yalls story. I don’t have much dating experience , only had one bf before and dating here and there haha so it’s interesting learning how ppl come together. I have one question if there were no labels did that mean that both of y’all were free to see other ppl during the time you were not together but still casual? I think even if labels are not important there should still be some discussion so expectations are in alignment , to avoid misunderstandings.

I guess we could have seen someone else, but we mutually had a “feeling” we didn’t/ wouldn’t want to, but I suppose we could have an did any of us did, then it wouldn’t have been a problem since we both (at the time) weren’t looking for a relationship.
Also, there really wasn’t much time apart. Honestly maximum 1 week 😂 other than that we were practically living together, so I guess just in our actions we were together (even though we never asked each other, we did tell a few friends who asked that we were together 😂)

Bumble is used here, I never used it so can’t say how much, but mainly used by foreigners I think. Tinder is more widely known and used amongst all people here

Just being curious Jae, you dated two women before Min, what happens if you met another woman that you liked? Fair to say you are Bi, correct? It is no different then any other relationship, if someone meets someone they like.. and I don’t like labels so you can’t call me bi or w/e lol I think the “term” for me would be pansexual though~
Like in a girl and boy relationship the girl meets a guy she likes, is no different if I meet a girl.. girl or guy doesn’t really change the outcome~
But I am happy with my partner for life, not saying there won’t be other great people who might enter my life, but I am confident I found my one :)
