I spoke to a friend about how I don't go to the bathroom as much whilst travelling, I thought it was due to stress or not being as active while on a flight. She is in the aviation industry and asked if I wanted to know why that is... she informed me that plane food contains anti-laxatives that clogg us, reducing the number of times we need to use the toilets as there aren't enough of them for everyone on the flight 🤔
Ohhhh nooo 😮 that’s horrible! Yeah if I can I always try to avoid airplane food, there is just so much garbage ingredients in it and will never make me feel good. Flying is already dehydrating and uncomfortable so last thing I want is put food in my body that makes me feel worse.

The reason many people get constipated is cabin pressure and the fact that airplane food is ULTRA processed, so based to avoid it when we can, just not for "anti-laxative" reasons.
Holiday pooping phobia we call it in our family….i travel to Italy next month and will be packing suitable medication! Always drink a lot of water and take healthy snacks xxx
@@louisedurrant1804 also doubling the amount of magnesium helpsv to sleep and to go to tue toilet! Magnesium citrate! ( i am a pharmacist) . I live in Italy, now we have a lot of fresh fruit like prunes and purple grapes…. Great way to help the bowel move too ☺️❤️

I am all for digestive enzymes but do not wait until you’re travelling to start taking new supplements!! ALWAYS give yourself a minimum of a two week trial run because some supplements (especially enzymes) can wreak absolutely havoc if you’re not used to them. Speaking from the personal experience of a friend lol.
