    It's great that you raised topic about hormonal balance. I have the same problem. But once I incorporated in my diet fish, seeds and nuts it is so much better now: regular period, more strenghts and less nerves. I highly recommend to all who strugles with the same problem to read about seed cycling. Take care!

      You don't need fish to balance your hormones. The fish gets the omega 3 from algae as well. Watch Seaspiracy or read some articles and studies about it for more information. You don't need the actual fish to get omega 3. You can skip that step and directly supplement with omega 3 from algae 😊better for you and the ocean!

    If you increased your protein, carb and healthy fats (all food groups pretty much) intake to regulate your hormones, it literally means you were just undereating before. And undereating does wreak havoc on hormonal levels.

    Thanks for speaking about your doctor experience. Because as much as people who are of a larger body get told to “just lose weight” to solve a concern, slim people are told to “just gain weight” to solve their health concerns to. It’s disappointing to have people of that profession think that way.

    Thank you so so much for sharing about the hormones and what helped you, it makes so much more sense now. I’m a teenager and i’ve been struggling with not getting my periods and having imbalanced hormones and I feel so lost on what to do. I’m definitely going to talk about this with my endocrinologist and try your tips. You’re really inspiring Sanne :) ❤️

      Read the book "Woman Code" by Alissa Vitti or listen to one of her interviews as a Podcast :) I can totally relate to feeling lost on what to do and this book might really help you

    I think so many young woman are struggling with it without even knowing.
    I personally struggle since I got my second vaccination.
    My period is way stronger than before and I have migraine attacks, which I never had before.

    A good bread knife would solve the problem :) I struggled with slicing bread (bagels, ciabatta, sourdough, baguette...) too until being gifted a really good bread knife. Highly recommend!

    I have been on natural hormones for a long time. I did not like what most Dr's recommend because they cover the effects but do not correct the problem of restoring the hormonal balance. And are artificial. Personally, I use the Wiley protocol as a personal preference. Once before, you mentioned Chia seeds and were astounded to learn about their nutritional content!

    Sounds like it’d be helpful to find a different healthcare provider and a nutritionist who understand your lifestyle choices (emphasis on overall well-being, daily workouts, low processed foods, bloodwork issues, etc) - LA must be teeming with both so maybe a friend or subscriber could recommend some people?

    Thanks for sharing your journey about regulating your hormones and your experience! This is probably more common than you think. It makes me want to do some blood work to see what carbs my body has the lowest insulin response too. What kind of doctor did you see? I'm assuming not a regular primary doctor. We've been taught to fear carbs but that's not the answer! Thanks again!
