I cannot stand when people say "no one was talking about meditation and yoga 20 years ago"...I am 43, 20 years ago I was practicing both, as were many of my friends. there was no social media 20 years ago, so our meditation and yoga was not performative and didn't make us money, it was for ourselves. I always liked her, but now even more. She is a supermodel, but obviously she was nervous a little bit, just like everyone. Very down to earth and totally normal.

I love her. I remember I was really young when her first Vogue cover came out. I feel like I grew up with her. She was always beaming and happy, an inspiration in the crazy scene that fashion can be. The years passed and she became even better as a person. I actually feel Tom Brady was not on her level of consciousness, she will be happier in her next chapter I'm sure.

I enjoyed listening to her and plan to check out the book. Her energy transmitted a lot of anxiety, like she wanted to get everything out. There wasn't a moment where I felt zen by her energy. Fascinating.

My first child came to being when I was 19 yrs old. I found the basics of good food, loving environment and safe, secure home came naturally. The thing I worried about most was not negatively impacting their mental health. Emotinal intelligence coupled with Self belief, courage and resilience are important life skills to equip them with.

On the topic of Gisele’s kids and getting them to do chores.
It made me think of Gretchen Rubin’s 4 Tendencies. Her daughter sounds like either an upholder/obliger while her son is definitely a questioner/rebel.
As a rebel myself, I appreciate how she gave her son “information-consequence-choice” she very clearly gave him some good reasons and even allowed him to make choices which is so important for that type. My parents never really did this which turned the rebel up in me even more!
    Okay done being nerdy.
