      That’s a meager 12$ per drive, might not even be enough to cover the cost of repairs for most peoples vehicles for those extra miles.

    I've been driving for Uber since 2016. Mostly part time but full time when I'm between jobs. It helps to think like a business and not it employee. Yes there is wear and tear on your car but you're making money as a consequence. Uber money has paid for my expenses many times over. Not to mention taking advantage of the milage rate on taxes.

    I'm fairly new to UE (over 300 deliveries) and even if I worked 12 hrs per day 7 days a week in the best tipping areas, I still wouldn't come close to that. and I live in a city with over 3 million ppl. Your market must be exceptional nationwide. Lucky!

      That’s probably 3million people “statewide” u need to check your city population and that let you know why it’s so low. Because Even in Birmingham where the pop is about 200k you can make regularly 1300-1600 a week doing 60-75hours a week. Facts proven. It’s not up for debate

      @@achilles3540 Nope, citywide metro is about 3 million population. But now I see how gross can be $1,300-$1,600. You have to put in 60-75 hrs per week. I'd prefer to make that, but in 40 hours tops. Thanks though!

    This is one of the problems that we have working these apps, especially Uber. People go on and on about all this money they're making and then people jump on and like was stated by someone else, the market is totally oversaturated. Even if you happen to be making this much money it doesn't mean that someone in another area is going to be able to make that. And all these promotions are not available to everyone or to every Market. Also it's not a secret that doing this type of video and getting people to use your sign up code just makes you money.

    • @withnnicole2149
      @withnnicole2149  3 ปีที่แล้ว +24

      ⚠️You’re focused on “Over saturating the market” & “These promotions aren’t available to everyone”. 1. Over saturating the market is happening rather I post my one video or not ‼️…If you aren’t aware, we’re going through a “Great Resignation” right now where MILLIONS are quitting their jobs to do gig work…Uber pays millions for promoting new drivers to sign up so new drivers are going to happen if you like it or not. 2. Of course these exact promotions aren’t available for everyone, who said it was? But what about the thousands of areas that promotions are available? Then I just changed someone’s life in a positive way‼️ If I could help anyone, that’s my goal…I’m not afraid of the competition…..And if promotions aren’t available, you can still make money versus just sitting at home watching TH-cam and writing negative comments on someone’s page! ……..As far as using my link, I received multiple referrals which is only $200 for me but the person who signs up receives a $2400 bonus so it’s a win-win (especially for them). That tells me that, many people are benefiting from driving Uber Eats & that’s all that matters….If you decide not to drive yourself, the world is going to keep going 😂 lol

    Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it's bad these days... obviously it's not the same in every market but where I am it's ridiculous. It's not worth it gas prices are way too high I'm spending 200 bucks a week on gas. Uber and doordash and all those companies just bombard you with low ball offers. Like drive 12 miles for $3 they'll even send me drive 5 mi for 2.50 and it's never changing. With as little money that I make I'm barely paying for gas let alone my bills that are all due. It's just not worth it a lot of non tippers, the restaurants (some of them) treat you like you're nothing, there's a lot of shady people out there who try to screw you over and they don't tip or it'll be so slow that you feel like you have to take some of these low offers ( 6.00) just to survive. Right now it's really hard and I'm definitely going to be looking for another job as soon as I move out of the cesspool I'm living in now and hopefully move to a better area where there's more job opportunities that pay better. I'm assuming that those in larger cities might do a little bit better? But regardless gas prices are ridiculous and that's what makes it almost not worth it. But I do plan on selling my vehicle someday or trading it in for another nicer vehicle and good luck for me because who the hell is going to want to buy a car with super duper high miles on it?

  • @Yakoo45
    @Yakoo45 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I saw somebody already asked you this question but you didn't answer, however that may be because you don't want to tell everyone specifically where you are located, so I will rephrase the question... Are you making deliveries in the inner city where there are a lot of office buildings and stops are very close to each other? Or are you making deliveries in a more suburban neighborhood where it's residences that are spaced apart more? Or do you work in the country where everything is miles apart?

    Are you a sales person for Uber? Give me a few minutes on the computer and I can show you I made 4 thousand in one week . Why can't you say what city you're in? The only way I believe this is if you have the multiplier that Uber took away. MAYBE you can make it, but now, in January 2022, It's slow in Los Angles for regular uber. I am sitting at the lax as a rideshare talking to fellow rideshare drivers because it's real slow. They all asked what city, state is this. Yes, before Covid-19, that was possible because they had the multiplier.
