It is so refreshing to hear someone talk about the positives of working at Amazon. I really didn't have a bad experience there either. People don't realize how good they have it sometimes. No life experience.
These kinds of videos are very interesting and valuable. I feel that way too often, the news media glorifies Amazon because their salaries for white-collar/software workers are insanely high but they neglect the folks in the warehouse as well as the drivers who break their backs making sure that things run smoothly. The reality is that not everyone is a corporate/tech worker and that blue-collar workers matter too. Thanks for sharing your experience.
No job is worth your stress. I'd rather make less, be happy and have a life outside of work, than to work more, make more and have no life outside of work.

Hello Great video thanks. I am thinking about working at Amazon. I have a few questions. How do you get a hold of your manager while you are working at your post on the floor? Is it easy to find someone if you have a question? Are you allowed to have water/food on the floor with you? If so, is there a close by spot to refill your water bottle? Are there many bathrooms throughout the warehouse that are close to the post you are at (less than a five minute walk so it won't register as TOT or are the restrooms a long walk to get to )? My final question is if there is a bad snow storm or ice storm coming how is Amazon with you calling out if the roads are bad? I'm going to watch your other Amazon videos as well. Thanks.
Hey! Your shift lead is typically in the same section as you but your head manager is typically sitting at the front desk close to the offices in front of the building. I'm sure every warehouse is different.
My brother was dropping 30k miles a year on his car doing Uber. It’s a death sentence for your personal vehicle. He’d come home from his day job then drive till 2AM every night. Lots of college students and drunk people....

Second thing is if you have a newer car like I do then the extra miles you put on it will be considerable and that cost you, depending on how much your car is worth , anywhere from $50 to $100 a week or more in depreciation up and beyond what you would normally have not including extra break pads per year , extra oil changes and other things which yes you can write some of that off in taxes but not all. So it's better if your not running a nice car in the ground for that job.
I agree with you 100% Jesse! I don’t think it’s a long term option but for me, I love the work flexibility right now since I’m working on building my business. I have a new car as well & the it does put wear & tear on your car. I’ll soon talk about the pros and cons.

most are too dumb to factor in the IRS mileage rate deduction of 55 cents PER MILE which is your COST OF SALE.... the rest, yes "CAN" be profit.....after you pay the 55 cents per mile.
Uber/Uber eats.... little to no benefits, you have to take into account gas and wear and tear on your vehicle. Uber eats and uber are for people who have no real skills or education, she went into entry level....
I don’t think that’s true at all. There are many educated people such as myself that lost their jobs during this pandemic that decided to do jobs such as Uber to make money. We can’t be so quick to judge & there are many people with degrees that don’t make this much. As far as the lack of benefits, there are many other options to invest into your 401k & medical benefits. With a company’s contribution, it definitely helps but it’s not the only option. In regards to wear & tear on your vehicle, you do have to consider that. Uber has options to rent a car, which does cut into your pay. That’s where the math comes in & you decide if Uber is a better option than a traditional job. With me having an interior design business, I love the option to do Uber when I have the time.
Yeah you're right, scheduling your shifts, picking the right orders and areas to deliver in, setting aside money for taxes, finding your own insurance and funding your Roth IRA. Yeah you're right, that's entry level shit. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Who says I don’t care how much I make? Also, I’m not bragging…the point of the video is to give tips on how others can make money too and not working at a stressful job.
@@withnnicole2149 5:06 mins into the video. You were talking about the huge pay decrease. No matter what you do in life. You can't always take the easy way out. Sorry, but you didn't make that amount. You have to pay car expenses, pay federal, state, and local taxes, both your portion and the employer's portion of social security, Medicare tax, etc. You have to take all that into account.
Now if you want to get healthy and lose weight just go vegan I wouldn't begin two years ago and I've never been so healthy in my life just make sure you take your supplements if you do and you'll be fine

Anyone with a driver's license can do it. No college degree is required. There are a lot of those types of people that never made it off the video game couch and now need something.
I said that's the most I've ever made in a week but an average week it's around 1200. I'm not sure why that's hard to believe, I know people who make a lot more than me. Also, I live in Chicago so it's busy all the time. I'll make a separate video showing my numbers on screen. You can't make it up with proof.
most are too dumb to factor in the IRS mileage rate deduction of 55 cents PER MILE which is your COST OF SALE.... the rest, yes "CAN" be profit.....after you pay the 55 cents per mile.
Cut sugar and cabs…stay on Keto…
I definitely need to, maybe I'll record my journey on keto & see how it goes.
🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪for you
👌
You could get hired on as a manager easily if you have a degree
Very true…if you don’t you’ll have to wait
Gotta pay them taxes of that Uber eats money
Yes, I know. I keep my receipts for car maintenance & gas to help with filing taxes as well. Thanks
You no longer care about how much you make but yet you're bragging about how much money you're making from Ubereats. Make up your mind.
You gotta work hard for whatever it is you want in life. Don't blame the job for the stress. It's all different for each individual on how they take in the situation. Good luck on your endeavor.
just work in AMAZON and your gonna lose weight for sure
Yes!
You sound very sweet. I wish you the best.
Awww thanks
You are very long-winded
Sorry, but you didn't make that amount. You have to pay car expenses, pay federal, state, and local taxes, both your portion and the employer's portion of social security, Medicare tax, etc. You have to take all that into account.
I'm aware of that.
Now if you want to get healthy and lose weight just go vegan I wouldn't begin two years ago and I've never been so healthy in my life just make sure you take your supplements if you do and you'll be fine
Definitely good advice!
