So how would i choose a amazon flex schedule from 11:15am-3:30pm???(12pm-4)??or 12pm-3pm)??? Just asking dont want to waste my credits since i put wrong on app thanks
Made $118 in 3.9 hours today. I live in a small town north of Buffalo so I travel 7 miles to a nice part of town to dash. I got a $22.25 order going 11 miles taking me closer to home. So love not having those dead miles.
100%. Knowing your market, and being able to line up deliveries back to back using multiple apps is the key to consistently being able to make $20-25+/hr. I couldn’t imagine doing just doordash in my market. Great video Pedro! 💰
It really is about your market. While I do use multiple apps, in my area I can actually just do DD. I’m in the suburbs of Philly, so I have Philly and DD like runs $250 promo to complete deliveries in Philly. I have Chester County which is an affluent suburb with a lot of businesses. Then we have Delaware and New Jersey as an option. I also live really close to the airport. But also because it’s Philly, you might only be about to do DD and Uber because Instacart, Sparks, Flex and Shipt all have long ass waiting list.
Your app is so much better than mine! Mine doesn't show the route I'd have to drive! This is good info!!! Love it I just started DD and my area is a HUGE area to cover and I feel like a $9 order only pays me about $4 -$5 because of the mileage. I don't know how you jugle all those apps! But I need to kearn my area! I feel like DD rips me off. They had me go shop at Grocery Outlet and get like 25 items for $3.25. I felt like i should just do the orders because I was new. But I never seen hidden tips of +$ to drive! Like I said some of my orders are like 12 - 15 miles away for hardly anything! I need a better area! Lol Thanks for tips I'm gonna be checking out ALL your stuff. I've been listening to some others but they just take forever to get to the POINT!!! You get to it and I love it!
I agree on the stacked order. Running all over the place for $3.50/order is not a good way to maximize your earnings. Being patient can lead to better offers. Also, thanks so much for putting on a great conference this weekend.
Pedro thanks again for the gig conference we had a really good time. Keep being you and inspiring people the way you do. You have a great network of people around you don't let the haters get to you
DoorDash isn't busy in our area often, so if you don't stay logged on, you will have to wait hours to get back on. The DD driver market is flooded here, unfortunately
the more you miss order the less acceptance rate which in case of DASH they wont send you high pay drives.... for me it changed a lot ... i have high acceptance rate, and i have been getting 2 miles for 8 or 10$
Abou, Abou? Aaaaabooo. hahaha. This is what I like about Pedro, even though he is endorsing solo, he tells you to do your due diligence. You don't see many creators do that.
Arguably I think that Uber stacks orders way better than Doordash ever does. It's like Doordash only stacks orders when they're no tip or one person is a no tip and sometimes they're not even going in the same general direction, but Uber will actually stack two good orders where both the merchants (if it's not the same one) and the customers are very near each other. I tend not to take stack orders on Doordash either unless it's REALLY good. Low mileage isn't everything, especially considering what if the orders aren't ready at either or both restaurants. Waste of time for sure.
I uber while in st Louis for the conference it is awful there.. the runs are so low and everyone had to had a darn pin number.. it was super crazy but had fun
$7.75, I wouldn't take 2 orders for that either! But you know all new dashers are taking those orders. Been 9n vacation 2 weeks, just running your videos even though I know what to do. But watching reminds me that someone can relate to the good and bs doing gig work. Thanks for your ambition!
An about ChicFilet yes they add MSG too pretty much all their food. The only thing you might want to get there is their grilled chicken .but that's it. That's why people are addicted like people are addicted to Cheetos flaming hots
That stack for 7.75 for 1.7 miles although one of them most likely didnt tip id take it just cause thats not a bad payout for the drive. Idc whos paying me. It would kill me to take the no tip order though
I’d much rather take a no tip order to a nice customer than take an order for a rude person who tipped…if the base pay is high enough. Base pay should be $5+ our earnings shouldn’t rely on the charity of customer tips. Customers are already being charged high enough fees which the companies keep for themselves as profit, and we drivers are exploited along the way being fed lies by them that are simply false. Anything under $10 per order is trashy TBH. There’s an over saturation of drivers so may be why base is so ridiculously low.
What you end up with are more 1 and 2 star ratings. I only accepted a few orders in a relatively new market and got pounded by bad ratings, for no reason whatsoever.
Back in my early days doing DoorDash I probably would’ve taken that $7.75 stack but knowing what I know now I wouldn’t. On the surface the mileage to pay rate is awesome BUT it’s 4 locations. That could easily take too long. All it would take is having to wait at a restaurant or having trouble finding a place.

Test different markets in your area..I drive a little less then 20 mins to my market where they tip great I would not make money if I worked where I live
@@donnelljenkins1208 that's what I did. I'm in this small town doing DD and have relatives to stay with and save on gas. I live 25 mins from this market. A larger city is an hour away but not worth traveling back and forth that would be a gas killer for me
The $3 order 😂😂 Cant say it enough, it was so nice to meet you Pedro! You and your girlfriend were so down to earth and easy to talk to. Im not sure if you got to try the little goodie bag I brought but dont sleep on those beaver nuggets 😂

Yes im with you. 2 merchants, two drop offs for 7.75 is a no go for me even for a mile. The risk of waiting on one of the orders or even worse. Neither customers tip and they both end up being "hand it to me" orders. I promise these cheap ass customers dont want me to hand anything to them.
For 1.4 miles, I would accept that stack, then start to unassign each one to see how much each was in case one of was 2.75 and one $5 or something close , if not I’d just cancel both
Whenever Door Dash pauses my dash I just pick the dash again and I'm back on. I have a Chick-fil-A near my house that I could work all day long. Constant okay offers.
The Solo app Smart Schedule feature doesn’t seem to be set up yet in Kansas City or St. Louis. It’s kind of the only feature I was interested in seeing. I assume this is true or is the app down this week?
Stacked like that says at least in my experience that one of those is a $2 order. I am gonna wait and get a better paying offer all day. Side not glad gig conference went well.
Yeah I don't think they put anything in the Chick-fil-A food 😂. I've eaten there and I don't wait 20 minutes in a line or more for Chick-fil-A! 😆 Every time I'm out delivering I see those lines...people are insane! I'm so happy, I finally got a pizza bag! Thank you for the ride along...kinda missed em' and congratulations 🤎! I'm still only at 29 subs 😔
Legit question about Solo: How do they make their money? I've yet to find an answer to this. I may be paranoid, but I wouldn't even sign up for Upside until I found out how they get paid. No company is going to give you something for nothing.
@@Mr.Betonyou Right on. I first heard of this a couple of months ago from Sara Elizabeth. At that time they didn't have a paid option and their website didn't mention a subscription. Yo bro you from tx your sleeve is dope where did u get it done no 🧢 and fuuuuuk doordash lol I made 88$ today in houston. To be honest I rather take a stack order my personal opinion if I was multiapping then I’d do it
Hey Pedro. Not sure if you are aware but I found a channel by a guy named The Rideshare Guy and he's been reposting your videos on his channel. Thought I would let you know in case you didn't allow it.
The Solo page says it doesn't include my area Chicago (burbs) let alone St. Louis. How are you able to use it? Would like to use it but looks like I can't.
wanna hear a joke?.... DOORDASH today i worked 3 hours in the capitol of shameless no tippers Seattle and $25 was my reward...that means i spent around 35$ of my money to deliver this food
Sometimes you make a stacked order lol Had a $7.50 chick fil a pickup and the drop off was a mile away then a $5 order another app same restaurant and the delivery went across the street from the 1st...
I don't get the chick fil a thing either from a food perspective. It's nothing special. I will give them credit for excellent service. I think that's probably it. I don't eat there because of their conservative stances, but I'll pick up there all day everyday. Tips tend to be good and the order is always ready on arrival so it's easy money.
Not all gig drivers are qualified for the solo guarantee. And the other app features are found elsewhere. Or you can do it yourself without much effort. So this app isn’t a must for all of us.
Ya I saw a few cheaper places way south toward the Walmart I went to for gas it was mostly main road of you get on use the south st louis there's some miles but amazing payout and wait was nill
The last and only two cash orders from pizza hut I've taken have been a fucking mess. Both times I got there and the customer is screaming at me they paid with a card. Never again.
MASTER P! 2 questions. Similar yet different. Which one do you prefer food delivery or rideshare? Also, if you could only do one from here in out, which one would it be?
Has anyone had an issue with Doordash adding a stack to order and claiming it is on route only to find out it was an additional 3+ miles? Couldn't you claim anything is on the route? I had a 1.4-mile order and added another order "on route" which was actually 3.5 miles further. Is anyone else experiencing this? Isn't this somewhere between a misrepresentation or at least misleading?
@@stevenmcvey7363 I understand the policy. My comment though gives a concrete example of the policy not being followed and asks if anyone else is experience that. So repeating the policy does not help.

Last week I rejected a clown order then got a nice offer for my market. While I was picking up the order I accepted they put the clown on me on me without my permission. When I found out I politely told the customer I couldn't afford to deliver their food for free. They cancelled the order in response and I got free Burger King

Idc about time. It’s about $ per mile taking the greatest orders in the day. Example today 19$ doordash 5 miles aldi 15$ five guys Popeyes same place 14.75 Panera 2 orders same street 3.5 miles 23$ Grubhub 5.3 miles 10.25 dd 5.9 miles (good zone) 10 dd back to my house. Etc. I’ll sit at home I’m lucky in a big spot 13.50 dollar general 4 items Part of my day I’ll go all day save ur gas it’s a marathon not a race
Pedro I have a question the other day I was at a Mexican restaurant the payout was 21 good pay out the only problem was I had to wait 30 minutes I now you probably won't I did it gets better it was a stacked order when I was on the way to the other restaurant the second customer called me and asked what's taking so long I told him I'm on a stacked order and I had to wait for the first order I dropped off the first order then finally drooed off his order though he was not going to give me a tip he did I got more then I thought at the same time he gave me a bad rating I thought that was funny
I cancel those orders on the spot. If you’re rude/disrespectful to me, I’d rather forfeit my earnings entirely than have a bad rating. I’ll deliver a high base pay/no tip order to a nice person. I won’t even mark it as delivered if I sense they’ll rate me bad. I call support and let them know when customers harass me. If we don’t report, they’ll continue to harass us! Have I given rude customers their food for free and canceled? Yes. Did I get paid for it? No. I refuse to mark order as delivered for those people. They can take their “tip” and shove it up their ass as far as I’m concerned!! (pardon my language)

Thanks! But I make those videos for him! We have a partnership.
@@Mr.Betonyou 😎 cool.
FYI, if you sponsoring a product you have to disclose it. If not, you can face fines. Just looking out for you.
The Solo page says it doesn't include my area Chicago (burbs) let alone St. Louis. How are you able to use it? Would like to use it but looks like I can't.
wanna hear a joke?.... DOORDASH
today i worked 3 hours in the capitol of shameless no tippers Seattle and $25 was my reward...that means i spent around 35$ of my money to deliver this food
😢
In my area I have to average 1,600 a week but that’s my goal. It’s expensive to live in New Jersey specially in my area
4:13 nope
I’m lucky if I get one order an hour on Ubereats in Riverside California.
Sometimes you make a stacked order lol
Had a $7.50 chick fil a pickup and the drop off was a mile away then a $5 order another app same restaurant and the delivery went across the street from the 1st...
The gigshield bot helps me grab good orders
I don't get the chick fil a thing either from a food perspective. It's nothing special. I will give them credit for excellent service. I think that's probably it. I don't eat there because of their conservative stances, but I'll pick up there all day everyday. Tips tend to be good and the order is always ready on arrival so it's easy money.
Not all gig drivers are qualified for the solo guarantee. And the other app features are found elsewhere. Or you can do it yourself without much effort. So this app isn’t a must for all of us.
Is the buffering the app or lack of good wifi in that area. Recently I have to drive away from the restaurant just to confirm order pickup. crazy
I love Rideshare! I would choose that if I had 2
Pedro do you have special car insurance for doing Food delivery and for driving people ?
I do
@@pedroandhannibal is it 2 separate ones for food an another one for driving people?
@@CHARLESSBRONSON no, just 1 policy
@@Mr.Betonyou maybe a good video topic?
I wonder what your acceptance rate is? Supposedly you get better paying orders above 70%
With stacked orders they always tell you what the additional miles will be for the second order. Then you decide. 🤔
@@stevenmcvey7363 I understand the policy. My comment though gives a concrete example of the policy not being followed and asks if anyone else is experience that. So repeating the policy does not help.
Youu doing your thang Pedro 💪🏽💪🏽
Any advice about meeting qualifications for the solo app. Details seem important on review s
Hi Paula, for the affiliate download bonus all you have to do is download and link an active gig work account and a payout method (so we can pay you!) Last week I rejected a clown order then got a nice offer for my market. While I was picking up the order I accepted they put the clown on me on me without my permission. When I found out I politely told the customer I couldn't afford to deliver their food for free. They cancelled the order in response and I got free Burger King
🙃 A person needs to evaluate their life if their pressed about you putting on a legit, sponsored & peaceful gathering for us gig workers. 🤦🏽♀️ Anyways, I’m all the way in Jersey so If you come to the east coast with a another gig conference Im definitely coming. 🥰
Well said!
Idc about time. It’s about $ per mile taking the greatest orders in the day. Example today
19$ doordash 5 miles aldi
15$ five guys Popeyes same place
14.75 Panera 2 orders same street 3.5 miles
23$ Grubhub 5.3 miles
10.25 dd 5.9 miles (good zone)
10 dd back to my house. Etc. I’ll sit at home I’m lucky in a big spot
13.50 dollar general 4 items
Part of my day I’ll go all day save ur gas it’s a marathon not a race
Bottom of the barrel of human beings! 🤣❤️ it.
Facts
They do that when they think it’s your fault you had to wait for 30 mins. I’m so sorry this happened to you
There is a such thing as good non tip orders. $8 for 1.4 miles ain’t bad.
