I just started knitting the Lakes pullover and am loving it! Obviously I can't give away all the construction secrets, but there's a lot of picking up stitches and short rows for the saddle shoulders and panels. Highly recommend, especially for those who have made a few sweaters and are looking for something a little different
Thanks for sharing these sweater patterns. They look really nice. I've never knitted a pattern sweater but I want to one day. I crochet mostly but switch to knitting when I get bored or when I find a pattern i really want to make.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! I have the same feeling every time I make one of these videos. There are just so many great patterns out there! ❤️
The Dartmoor sweater will be on my needles soon…I ripped out an older sweater that I didn’t wear and I’m reusing that yarn with two other strands to make this sweater. I am so excited to work on this!
Thank you for the great suggestion! I'll definitely include this information in my next videos :) for now: only The Classic (the first sweater I shared) is a free pattern. The rest is all paid! ❤️
I like the last one the best, out of this collection. My eye tends to go for cables but I really need ones I can knit without having to keep my eyes on a chart all the time.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! The Serein Sweater honestly is one of my favorite patterns of this small selection, too! I tend to fluctuate my interest between cables and stockinette a lot. Definitely more in a stockinette mood at the moment, though! ❤️
Thank you! I would absolutely love to knit these all up, but unfortunately I have only been knitting for two years and next to my fulltime job, I unfortunately don't have unlimited time! Hopefully next winter (or the winter after that) I can show you my own collection of sweaters! ❤️🥰
Love the sweaters you came up with. The second last one, the shoulder is called a saddle shoulder which was traditional to Gansey sweaters (although not sure they use the same method to get there), and the final one the neck would be called a cowl neck. Thanks for posting these and putting the link to the bundle.
Oh thank you so much for helping me out! ❤️ I really couldn't figure out how the construction of the Lakes Pullover was done. A saddle shoulder makes sense, but the stitches really did look like they were picked up. Also yes, a cowl neck! I really couldn't think of the name for this. Can you tell English isn't my first language? 😅
You are welcome. I do believe she does the saddle shoulder with picked up stitches rather than the traditional seamed method, but comes out with basically the same result.
Thank you for your lovely comment! The last sweater is the Serein Sweater by Caidree! You can find the ravelry bundle I made with all the patterns in the description of the video if that helps you out! ❤️
Thank you so much! I'm wearing the Amadeo Summer Sweater by Kolibri by Johanna. I tested this pattern in the beginning of this year. It's a very lovely sweater! ❤️
Loved every single one of these patterns! Great job. Thank you!

Very interesting podcast! Now I feel like I want to knit everything! Thank you! Elise from Quebec Canada

Could be nice to direclty state when you give the explanation about a pattern to say if it's free or paid:)

Hi Emma, what's the name of your sweater that you're wearing, please? I can't seem to find it, I may not be understanding you properly. Thank you :)

Can you do a men’s version? Men are so forgotten in the world of knitting 😢
Ooh that's a great idea, thank you for the suggestion! I've put it on the video idea list ❤️
Not size inclusive.
