I would love a comparison video of all of Petite knit’s basic sweaters. Some look so similar to each other, for example the Wednesday and Chestnut sweaters, is the only difference the year weight?

So glad to have found you Melissa ❤ Really enjoy these types of podcasts...i have just made an all over cable cardigan with a saddle shoulder. I made a traditional Gansey sweater years ago so it was nice to revisit this style. I see another Gansey in my near future. I really enjoy your format although I am much older than you ,it is nice to see younger ladies who are excited about knitting. Going to spend my day watching your podcasts and getting more ideas, THANK YOU. 🇨🇦🥰Sharon.

I really like these pattern comparison videos. One on my to knit list is Saglan by Ailbíona McLochlainn, a hybrid saddle shoulder and raglan. It looks very customizable.

Ok, WOW! Thank you for the Saglan recommendation. I just went down an amazing rabbit hole and am adding it to my to-knit list as well.
      Thanks so much for watching!

I like your topic, thank you for the video. It would help me more if you could keep the pattern you are talking about up on the screen while you discuss it. I’ve had trouble telling apart the subtle differences in some patterns, so thanks again.

Women absolutely should wear saddle shoulder sweaters! Emphasis on shoulders balances the hips and can provide an hourglass shape which is what many women desire

I have knit up the Lakes pullover last January and it became my daily sweater in winter and fall, so I can only recommend :). No experience with the others.

Maybe spot the difference with the Maybury Cardigan by Ami Lowden?

I knew I was forgetting to add something the description box! Haha
I am wearing the Biella Sweater, a pattern from The Knit Purl Girl, modified with a low/mini mock neck.
      Thanks so much for watching!

I love how they all look very very similar....like very similar.....and probably you would find on their patterns how "this is their design and you can't sell items made with this design".....I find these disclaimers so ridiculous....Unless it's a design that people can only find on your web shop, blog, ect, so it's an ORIGINAL new design that you came up with (for real), then everything you see around has already been designed, knitted and experimented by someone else. When people come up with these designs that look like another million designs out there, they surely must have started somewhere and followed a tutorial, a blog post, a magazine article where they could copy the design in order to make it. What I'm saying is they put these disclaimers, yet they copied from someone else!!!
Sorry, my comment is not really related to your video but I thought of that when seeing the 3 designs being the same and remembering reading this disclaimer in a recent pattern I bought about making a cardigan that has a shape that many other patterns have! Great video! It really does help to make the right choice of pattern.
