if she didn't "went to the puppy paradise", basically, died, then maybe Phoenix wouldn't have to deal with Maya, but at the same time, it would mean he wouldn't met the other characters in the history...
So maybe it was good, or bad? I don't know
Phoenix really has no place to judge given that he’s been accused of murder 3 times
To be fair to Phoenix, all of his accusations are WAY more reasonable and not-his-fault than Maya.
Redd White accused him basically on a whim, and like 0% of the evidence or previous testimony actually supported it
Then he knocked out Doug Swallow, but neither the snapped wire nor Dahlia being there and pinning on him were his fault, nor really is it that much of a stretch that he didn't heed Doug's warning about Dahlia considering that Iris had developed feelings for him genuinely and was just generally nicer than her sister
And then the third time he was just the victim of the world's most vindictive attorney. All he did was take on a somewhat weird client, no weirder than he usually takes, and because of that he got his career ruined, estranged from several of his friends and coworkers, was made to adopt an entire child, and was framed for murder.
Is that counting his appearance on Apollo Justice?
@@SomeFreakingCactus Yep, the third one.
I mean 3 is less than 4
@@Troixix Well let’s talk about Maya’s accusations then
-April May/Redd White are in charge of Bluecorp and can easily distort the courts, essentially the same point as yours
-During a spirit channeling with 3 people outside who should have been able to vouch for her if 2 of them didn’t leave
-She had already beaten Dahlia when she channeled her, so Dahlia’s accusation against her didn’t do much
-Okay, maybe the SOJ one could be considered her fault since she was alone
I believe Maya’s accusations are reasonable/not her fault, just that she gets in so many perilous situations that it can be ridiculous to some.

0:22 I never played a ace attorney game but that explanation was so specific that it might be an actual game...
As someone who has played the games, it's pretty close to what happens
@@lisahenry20 now im curious

@@doomgirl5341 Oh ye Chapter 3
Phoenix Wright: "Why is it when someone gets accused of murder, its always you three?"
Larry Butz, Maya Fey, Miles Edgeworth:
Franziska: Because they are foolish fools who keep foolishly fooling around! _cracks whip across everyone's face_
You know, for the next game, I kind of want to see the person who accuses Maya of committing murder be arrested by Gumshoe due to her false accusation being done so many times the courts can view it as a sign of guilt.
Gumshoe wouldn't wanna know why she stood up for and ultimately caused the not guilty verdict for Gumshoes best pal Mr big shot prosicuter lawyer
And when that time comes, I want Maya to actually have committed the murder
My favorite part is that because there was no investigation phase, this has to be the first case of the game.
Not necessarily. In Great Ace Attorney 1 you don't get a case with both investigation and trial phases until case 4.
I mean, 3-4 didn't have any investigation either
The fact that she’s not in jail for a life sentence because of that story is genuinely incredible
To be fair, she would have if Phoenix didn’t bail her out all of those 4 times. Seriously, it’s fucking weird how Phoenix is able to bail her out ALL of those times.
The most inaccurate thing about this video is the fact that Phoenix is actually reading one of those law books.
"He actually reads one in the extra" 🤓
But seriously you think the law matters here? YOUR LAW REPORT... IS OUTDATED.
He tried to read some once, but it slipped and hit his foot
@@mertensiam3384and he got a headache
Not entirely inaccurate, since he did at least once.
Anyway, have you been swimming lately? 👏 😂
Probably had to do it to get his badge back or convinced edgeworth to let him pass
Can we get a part 2 on how maya NUKED TURKEY WHILE PHOENIX WAS BLINKING
Za Warudo
Psychically
Ok but how did she microwave a turkey sandwich while nick was blinking.
@@ianblair783 good question

Yup. Dead on Accurate. All the way down to the fact that even Maya herself doesn't believe she's innocent.
"Oh fuck i might be a war criminal" is objectively the best sentence i've heard all week. 10/10.
She’s guilty. Who microwaves a damn sandwich?
I do. She's innocent

Fun fact: printer ink is more expensive than human blood
But you can use a knive to get blood for free
@@dubayxavier32 Careful now, it can lead to creating World War 3 and 4 at the same time.
I see, the message is clear people. Ditch printer ink, we are going for that red, vibrant ink in the stingy printer ink makers veins :)
That is not fun at all.
@@unxtraordinary less Gooooo!!!
As an ace attorney fan, this is completely accurate.
The most accurate part is Maya entertaining the idea that she's guilty.
And being a war criminal.
One year later and this is still hilarious
0:39 love how gumshoe looks
Looks like Edgeworth is going to enjoy this
Nah, he's sick of it as much as Phoenix. He only wants to put real criminals in jail, he hates the waste of time that is trying to convict Maya for a crime with Phoenix as her attorney
I hear the sound of an autopsy being updated.

Poor Turkey.
…no but seriously, this is the whole Ace Attorney series
Yeah man I am Turkish.
The subtle shade thrown at Capcom's localization team by labeling Japan "America" at 0:25 made me wheeze
IT'S TOTALLY AMERICA, Maya eats burgers, therefore 100% America
Bahahahahaha, good catch!
Thank you, I totally missed that!
You kidding? JAPAN doesn’t exist it’s like Australia a myth
But then where did anime come from
Maya: Breathes.
The universe: She created COVID, killed my dog, and blew up the moon
Maya: Breathes
Also Maya: *Gets kidnapped by several different people all at the same time*

She Poisoned the water supply, burned our crops and delivered a plague unto our houses!
