Ace Attorney has always been a Kangaroo Court, but for me the bit I could never "forgive" was a case in the second game; at one point you genuinely, decisively prove that it was literally impossible for your client to have commited the murder. But the identity of the actual murderer is still up in the air, so you have to work it out or your client gets found guilty. Like, what? No, fuck you guys. Things That Get Forgotten After The First Game: - The Judge not being a brain dead moron (except in Rise from the Ashes, but his personal friendship with Gant would likely get in the way) - Evidence Law in it's entirety (Both Wright and the Prosecutors just start tossing stuff that no one really approved and sometimes stuff that doesn't even have relevance yet) - The Prosecutors facing actual consequences for constantly bullshitting in court and hiding things from everyone

ChessmasterOmeyrolx / Majora8J that’s actually a good point since most usually last two days at max, seems kinda off because id love a case where they are on day three and see what happens if doubt still lingers
Also the prosecution and judge just setting arbitrary rules. The concept of "reasonable doubt" doesn't exist in Ace Attorney - it's basically only whether or not the Judge and/or *prosecution* is *convinced* on your argument.
I always felt sorry for Gumshoe, especially in the long-ass-SL9-case in the first game. If you listen to him, he is under payed, serves his colleagues coffee as an Inspektor because they don't trust him properly, only has 1 friend that's basically a Cactus, tries to make the mascot of the police station with all his heart so it can get insulted from his colleagues and THEN he loses his job to protect Edgeworth who won't even give him a second look 😑 and we have to talk him into that! To make matters worse, like all von Karmas do, Franziska made it so her case is "perfect", and told every witness to what should they testify about and say what. What an unfortunate case was Maya in, despite the fact Phoenix's insane bluffs saved her. please correct me i haven't even finished 2nd case
You may think that the justice system in Ace Attorney is unrealistic, illogical, and complicated and be inclined to lovingly mock the game for it. This is because the game is loosely based off of Japan's real life justice system. A lot of the weird bullshit Phoenix Wright has to do in the game echoes an irl issue. For example, you don't need to declare or share your evidence before the court date, so "updated autopsy reports" being introduced at the last second is actually pretty realistic.

please correct me i haven't even finished 2nd case
You may think that the justice system in Ace Attorney is unrealistic, illogical, and complicated and be inclined to lovingly mock the game for it. This is because the game is loosely based off of Japan's real life justice system. A lot of the weird bullshit Phoenix Wright has to do in the game echoes an irl issue. For example, you don't need to declare or share your evidence before the court date, so "updated autopsy reports" being introduced at the last second is actually pretty realistic.
As a long time Ace Attorney fan, I can say, without a doubt, that everything in this video, is actually completely accurate. Dammit.

Hey, remember the time renowned prosecutor Manfred von Karma tased Phoenix and his then-teenaged sidekick in a police station and it was never brought up in court? Yeah.
That and the "mafia"(for the vasquez lady from the samurai turnabout) annoys me alot lol edgeworth never deals with this xD

I tried to play a little of the first game when Apollo Justice was paining me because of the unfamiliar character. It seems interesting enough.
He called the first one lame which it kinda is. The second is my favourite in the entire series.

Facts
Why does everyone get mad at Maya. Phoenix has also been on trial for murder three times.
Because his cases didn't happen within literal months of each other
and...as of late...Maya now has a record of having the most known cases Wright had to handle....so she is the most frequent client now.
Its like she is a magnet for murder accusations....
For all we know, when Maya gets murdered, they’re gonna blame her
And the investigations games shows Edgeworth gets accused of murder about as often
@@tiin111 Today begons the trial of Maya's corpse for the murder of Maya. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELF!!!

Only in Ace Attorney can you interview a JAPANESE nationalist that loves JAPAN so much that he came to America (in his JAPANESE robes) so he could frequent maid cafes, which America totally has. It’s a good thing his American visa doesn’t mind that he’s unemployed, because anywhere else, he would have to go back to JAPAN, where he’s totally not.

Wait, I thought that was a coincidence-

Phoenix whenever Maya is accused of murder: I LEAVE YOU ALONE FOR FIVE MINUTES MAYA WHAT THE F-

0:50 I would like to point out that Maya has accually been accused 5 times. Once in game one case 2, again in game 2 case 2, near the end of the final case of game 3, once in the professor Layton crossover, and again in spirit of justice
