100% true! Earlier this week I had no social media and 3 views with 2 visits. Two days after I created a social media on facebook and twitter my views and visits were 24! Today my views are 114 and 76 visits and 20 follows! Even got some favorites and shop followers! I still haven't made my first sale yet but this exponential growth throughout the week has reinvigorated us! We know the sale is coming soon! This advice is true!

I have a future videos coming out about this~ there’s many video requests in queue I’ve been working through. It’s not that I don’t want people to know~ the landscape of asking & joining FB groups have changed and many do not allow self/SB promotion so what worked for me is different now and I will give an updated FB Group & pagesStrategy video on this and what is do in 2023/2024. Asking the admin to post is just by messaging them on FB messenger though~ it’s super easy but most will either deny or ignore. Some require payment/affiliate deals now.
When I began it was free + most admins were open to it. Since sharing this strategy, many groups have strict policies and only allow actively involved long term group members, paid sponsorships or people they know. Again, this will be in future content. :)

I have an Etsy shop with over 2500 sales but I took a break because I was too ill to work. Now it's like I am starting all over again and it's actually been harder! Etsy have even put a block on sending my proceeds so I only get 25% of it. I don't understand that as I have solid 5* reviews! It's like wading through mud at the moment haha. But I have this one product that has a 10% conversion rate! It is the one listing out of 140 that has sold x

Thank you for all your tips Heather. I have 2 questions about eRank and Etsy. When I looked at spotted on Etys for my store, I see page 1 and the position it is in and I also see page 2 and the position.
Question 1 why aren't I getting sales or views on those
Question 2 Is this just an eRank thing with keywords they look for or does it have something to do with the algorithum? I get so confused on this stuff I'm sorry if that is a stupid question. I've only been open 139 days according to eRank.

Thanks for the tips but to be fair I think all the POD sellers who started in 2021 and specially 2020 it was wayyyyyy easier for them to grow and get sales organically compare to someone like me who started in 2023!
Thank you for these suggestions! One of the questions I have had for a while is how do you find niche specific fb groups? I have tried wording things several ways, but can never seem to find the right groups. I am in several groups that are supposed to be about bringing buyers and sellers together, but it seems to me like it's just a bunch of sellers listing things with no buyers, and it seems like a waste of time! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Why would buyers be in a group duh, look for like interest groups like if you make dog stuff find specific dog LOVER groups....put in time and gently mention your stuff or ask if you can advertise....interest groups!

Thank you so much Heather. Another TH-camr recommends closing your shop and starting again if you don't get any sales in 2 months. Is that really a good idea? As though the shop is somehow already downgraded by Etsy. Seems such a waste of time after posting all your listings in one place. Would love your insight!

As always, she likely doesn't even have a store. Take everything you hear on the internet with a grain of salt.

Hey. First, thanks for all the information. It's really helpful. One question. Can we use one print-on-demand service(Printify) for two stores at the same time(Shopify + Etsy) ?
Yes you definitely can! I had a Shopify and also a seperate Etsy shop and the plus of Printify is you can create items in your Etsy shop first(or Shopify vice versa) and select all>copy to the other shop. It quickens the pace a whole lot!

Just made a Facebook group just for my Etsy account. It’s called homeliving customs. I don’t have a lot right now but am trying to post something new on Etsy everyday. I wanna expand to other platforms. Etsy is is a starting point.
On Facebook , did you have to ask admin approval first before you posted to the groups?
Depends on the rules of the group. Generally, no; if you're approved to be in the group, you're approved to start posting.
I thought 100/2 was 50 (not 2) but I know what you meant :) - I think it's supposed to be written (2/100)x100 =2

You can by mockup videos on Etsy, PlaceIt mockups has some videos and also you can create your own videos in Canva. Hopefully this helps! :)

Hi, Heather! Thanks for the great content! Do you think the amount of followers on instagram matters or is it the hashtags that drive the traffic to the shop?
Hi there! I think followers back your store with some social proof but in general it is the hashtags & engagement of posts that can really drive traffic on Instagram with their new algorithm changes. They have been showing accounts people don't follow now based on likes/comments & watch time(much like FYP on TikTok) so it's becoming more of a easier entry platform again unlike how it was in 2021 and 2022- just my opinion though as I've found I've had a few social media posts popping off and gaining followers quicker lately.

Etsy is saying that listing was published and is in stock, but yet on the actual Etsy website it says Can’t be uploaded at the moment? Have you ever come across that?

but if you have no money Etsy charges you monthly to have all those listings. If its like .25 and you have hundreds of items, where are you getting that money if you have no sales? Sorry, Im new here lol and doing my best to get started. Im on month 2 w 2 sales and realized ive already done so much wrong and have to re-do over 100 items.
You pay for it out of pocket. It's .20 per item and I've been open for 139 days which is about a little over 4 months and I am just getting to 200 items. Take your time and breathe while you are fixing things. I've been in a lul this month so I'm going over stuff myself. Good Luck

Well it reached 160 sales then got suspended without any email after contacting them they said it was because of suspicious login and requested informations, it's been 25 days and they never replied after that.
