Another good etsy seller popular on YT is saying that even if the longtail keywords are separated by comma Etsy algorithm knows to combine them. She called this word stuffing and said that etsy doesn't consider this type of title as good customer experience. So who knows really...

I agree and writing without comma looks artificial and difficult to comprehend hence not user friendly which again SEO doesn’ t like this

I've been on Etsy for 12 years (and eBay for 27 years!), and I've always had amazing sales and a great understanding of how to use titles, but in the past year? YIKES. There are more people selling the same items I sell, for one thing, and it seems the algorithm and SEO on Etsy has changed drastically. I'm excited to try out these title tips!

I have been using comma's in my titles separating long tail keywords. I thought I was doing the right thing, but I have very few sales. I will try this thanks great video.

Hello, I am new to Etsy. In Google SEO that title would be considered 'over-optimised' due to keyword stuffing. Is this not a problem with Etsy?

i though the title needed to have comma between the different terms, maybe it is only in french because im in France?
The comma is just appropriate literacy however doing it Dylan’s way you could get about twice the amount of long tail keywords within the title. Most people use commas but it’s not required and what Dylan is saying is that you are missing out on more long tail keywords assign comers or other characters. Customers aren’t staring at the title thinking that’s incorrect. Dylan knows her stuff! Trust me!

I have taken all the advice....all multiple long tail keywords in titles, photos optimized etc...I am lucky to get one visit to my shop a day. I feel hopeless I spent a full year and a half of 12-18 hour days and...and...well...I am hopeless. I can't afford any courses I am making under 5k a year before taxes and I rent...living off credit...
When you watch this and try to start thinking this way for your SEO, but then suddenly your thinking of too many and what to choose 😂😂😮😮
It can take awhile to train your brain to think this way!

Search engines strip out ALL punctuation, so it doesn't matter for them. You should separate thoughts with commas for clarity for human readers
But do you repeat candle five times, it's supposed not to do this right?
You can do this if you are using long tail keywords
First time seller on etsy, getting there slowly with adding products daily... say I have a personalised mothers day mug gift, would this be a good seo title or am I missing something?...

Great video! I just have one question when you say, "We are going to duplicate add new listing photos on so on" Do you mean that you will have 2 of the same products but with different listings so that product shows up in EVEN more searches, or am I just not understanding
Yes, it is ultimately the same product but presented in a different way.

Hi! First of all, thank you for your great videos, they are really very helpful. I have now watched several of your SEO tutorials and I don't understand one point that you keep repeating. After you have written a lift for a title, you say you should duplicate it, add a new photo and then write it again differently. I don't understand this step, should I use the first or second listing? I am from Germany and don't understand everything. Thank you very much!

I started using Alura app and it shows how accurate your listing is done and the rating of it. When I use the same word for 3 or more times, it shows the lower score of the listing. But you show 4 and more times using the same word, for example: "candle" in listing title. Do you usually make like that and it gives good results?

“You can use punctuation and some symbols in your titles to separate phrases and Etsy search will still be able to read each of those phrases to see if they match with a shopper’s search.
When writing your titles, be sure to include your most descriptive keywords but keep a buyer in mind, not a computer.
Adding long lists of keywords to your titles may confuse buyers or turn them off your listings. For example, this kind of title might be difficult for a buyer to understand at a glance:
“Personalised washbag men’s leather washbag groomsmen gift add a monogram”. "

Huh? What about indexing? Ur product needs to be able to be indexed in certain categories to match people's querys with an exact match I have way more chances of showing higher when someone types cinnamon candle rather just candle the broader the harder to rank
