Maserati Quattroporte Duoselect - Larini & Tubi combination - Out for a drive!

Welcome to the video that shows me driving my 2006 Maserati Quattroporte Duoselect with Larini catalytic converters and Tubi back boxes.
This black beauty is powered by a 4.2-liter V8 engine that produces 400 horsepower. And when that engine roars, boy does it roar.
Thanks to the F1-style paddle shifters, you can experience semi-manual gear changes. And when you push that accelerator pedal, that's when you'll truly hear the beauty of this car.
The Larini & Tubi combination on this car is what truly makes it stand out. It gives the car a higher-than-standard pitch that can be heard from miles away.
As we listen to the exhaust, you'll notice how the sound changes as the car revs up. The low growl slowly builds into a thunderous roar that will make your heart race.
This is not just any car, it's a Maserati. And when I'm behind the wheel, I feel on top of the world.

I own 2005 with 62000 miles with the original clutch. These cars are designed for true petrol😮 heads who understand the mechanics of clutch engagement. You are an exception in the world of uninformed Maserati haters

Slightly. People I’ve seen drive and review the car say they are jerky. Drive it right and it’s not. I find it quite smooth.

It does sound amazing and the shifts seem pretty quick for an old school robotised manual. Have you been through the pain of clutch replacement?

Thanks. Yes, the Duoselect gets some flack but I really like it. There is a method of making gear changes smoother and you learn that pretty quick. No clutch yet at 84K miles but I’d say it’s not far off.

Hi, I updated the video with all of the kit. For exhaust mic I use Zoom H2N. I will do a video and take some photos of the installation as quite a few people have PM’d me about this. Thanks
