When removing the paint. Make a big hot fire inside and at same time Tiger torch the outside of it. The Hotter the better. A lot of those Barrels have a rubber coating on inside. You want that all burnt off

Would've put the wire wheel down and used paint stripper. Apply and leave for half an hour - would do the job!

Looks nice. I have an oil drum grill that I'm building a base for. I think wheels with brakes or a locking mechanism are a necessity. Any thoughts?
