Fallout 4 has the potential to be a once-in-a-generation game. It looks absolutely incredible.

***** Colin makes trillions of predictions. He's bound to be right eventually. He predicts Last Guardian at e3 every single year, and he'll probably be right one year. He even admits he makes a lot of wrong predictions, it's just a combination of confidence and the shotgun method.

Fallout 4, Dishonored 2 and Doom all look freaking sick (even though I've never played a Doom game before). I will DEFINITELY be buying the Fallout 4 collector's edition for the Pipboy.

Liam Dyer As a person whose played the shit out of the original/ultimate doom, let me say that this one definitely looks like a great place to start, as it seems to stay very true to the original game while modernizing it in the right ways. At least imo it does.
Cawby Yeah, the other doom games leaned to a more horror game like doom 3 for example but, the original ones were Shoot and watch all the blood come out and kill the twenty enemies in the room
RJ Uballe lol yeah. Doom 3 was too much of a departure for me, but mostly cause horror games don't do a thing for me. This game def looks like it's keeping to the idea of what the originals were about, I just hope there's gonna be monster closets :p

Babylauncher3000 There's nothing wrong with comparing Bloodborne to Fallout. Just because a game is bigger and has more content doesn't mean its automatically better. Believe it or not there are plenty of people that don't care about Fallout, and they value other things.
I'm not understanding how Witcher 3, Phantom Pain, Fallout 4 and a sprinkle of Arkham knight can all come out in one year.
I just picture Colin when they announce 2015, standing up in the middle of the room, eyes closed, chin up, and arms out in a godly pose of glory.

One interesting little tid bit that was mentioned in the TH-cam interview with Todd Howard: The way conversation works makes it possible to have two conversations at once in Fallout 4.
Alfredo felt so out of place for this first big chunk of the video.
Colin is right, it captured the feelings and WOW moments of fallout 3. Awesome
Colin's excitement gives me goosebumps and I'm already through-the-roof excited for Fallout.

HEY. Just wanted to say I fucking love you guys. I'm at work writing a boring report for the department of environmental quality and its gonna be one of the best days ever because its E3 and I can watch all your shit here on youtube.
EVERYTHING I wanted from this conference happened. Fallout November release, Dishonored definitive edition (re buying since I never played the DLC) and Dishonored 2. Christmas has come early MY GOD!
Colin seems really relaxed this E3. Good to see that.
I honestly think that Battlefront, Call Of Duty and Assassin's Creed will either push up their release date or maybe even wait till next year.
This tidal wave that is Fallout, will CRUSH all and releasing a game after 11/10 would be nuts, because everyone will be playing this.

Thank God, they put some color in this one.
No one can deny how amazing and deep Fallout 4 looks...I just wanna explore that game...but, I think DOOM also looked incredible. I can't quite get over how good it looked running on the new idTech 6 engine. The game looked like CGI in real time. I love the motion blur animations, like in the beginning when he flipped his helmet around. It looked very cinematic. Great tech.
So, DOOM holds its own in Bethesda's conference for me. Can't wait to play both.
I'm not surprised that Colin was right about Fallout 4 but if he's right about the Last Guardian coming out this year I'll be shocked and probably never question him again.
the depth in this game looks insane. I did think the models of the dog and main character seemed pretty low poly, doesn't ruin anything, but stood out for a next gen game. Even watching the gameplay stuff, some scenes look little different from Fallout 3 engine, and others looked great. it's like skyrim with guns.
They basically took the wasteland defense mod from NV and put it into fourout. (Fallout 4 will now be known as fourout)
there are no words!! how can we even begin talk about a game as earth breaking as fallout 4, I cannot even believe what I witnessed...wow, just f'ing wow...
I think that the reason they announced Fallout 4 early may be in part due to the threat of leaking but I think the major reason was that even though they want people to be extremely excited about it they still don't want to take away excitement from other games. They know that people are so hyped for this and that it will be the only thing that some people care about but they want to showcase other games.

I think Tim brings everything together. Tim keeps everyone grounded and he's just always a genuine happy human being which I like and is down for anything. Alfredo is not apart of Kinda Funny but he is. I'd like to hear more from him because his interests are totally different from everyone else's. It seems the others just don't care about his interests much which might make it hard for him to talk a lot. Maybe he just needs time to get comfortable so he can voice his interests more for us, the viewers! Gotta love em all man!

ultimateriddlemaker Tim is fine, he's the host and moderator of Gamescast. Alfredo is the competitive/shooter Guy. Watch tomorrow when the shooters are announced/revealed. He'll have ALOT to say. These games just arent his cup of tea, so he listens instead of just talking to talk.

The only game I could see taking the show from Fallout 4, is if Rockstar announced Red Dead Redemption 2.
my predictions for the beginning of the story. Main character survives 200 years by living in pods similar to the ones in fallout 3. the vault is raided and people are killed. the mans family escapes in the chaos and we start with him looking for his family.
as excited as Colin seemed to be for this game, he seemed to get tired of it pretty quickly.
Regarding Colin's predictions, if you knew for a fact that the game had been in development since 2009, then it is fair to say that it was not a far fetched prediction. Also, someone who has been working for IGN for such a long time, has loads of industry contacts and continuous access to numbers of indiscretions, of that I am sure. It is clear that this man has a sizeable ego, and I do hope for him that he is not passing an indiscretion as a genuine prediction. These kind of things have a tendency to catch up to you. If not, congrats, it was a good one.
I'm sure you'll see GTA numbers with Fallout 4's release.
I feel bad for Alfredo. It's like he wants to say something, but holds back because he doesn't think he can be as insightful as Greg or colon.

It be great if they included seamless co-op in story mode in Fallout 4. I'm not talking about multiplayer but just you and your partner. I think that would be a very killer option especially with all the new elements in the game.
What happens if you build a house store your things in the locker but when u decide to remodel you scrap the locker by accident will it warn you? Do you lose all your stuff?
Even through my Fallout 3 game crashed, I will without a doubt play Fallout 4 and buy it on release date.

Not sure where Colin is getting this idea of fetch quests in Witcher....its got the most organic story telling ive ever seen in a game. Some quests are long because they deserve to be. Others are a quick "kill this thing we just locked in my shed" kind of quest. IDK, if Fallout brings me more of the feels than Witcher i will be very surprised. Though im sure Fallout 4 will be a BLAST
Ive not been so happy and excited by a game in years, it's gonna be one of those games, just like 3 and NV, where I think about it when I go to sleep. Can't wait... :3
Doom was what got me, Fallout didn't do anything for me, looks cool but I don't know, something wasn't right.
I want MGSV to beat fallout for GOTY and taste all the salty tears of all the fallout fangays and Colin. However, I do think fallout will be a very very tough opponent.

Id say bio ware style honestly. They had that way before Telltale came around... Very much Mass Effect esque communication now. Which I like a ton. Cant fucking wait!

The thing with Doom is you need to think back to the original, and yeah that was just run, chose a weapon and shoot an enemy in the face. Hopefully new Doom can replicate that. I'm not a FPS gamer by any means, but I started gaming around the Doom era and really enjoyed it, so color me interested in new Doom.
Crazy thing is November 11 is when world war 1 ended. It's also remembrance day in Canada and the UK
Never played a Fallout game before but I'm definitely hype for it. But I have to admit, out of the 3 games, I'm most hype for Dishonored 2. I was part of that cult following and LOVED the first one. Don't think I'll get the definitive edition as I still have the game for 360.

Henry Tran Probably not. While Fallout is pretty big, it still doesn't have that title that *everyone* knows about.
Henry Tran As much as Fallout is my favourite franchise in the world, it has no chance. There's a huge and rabid following for Fallout, but it pales in comparison to GTA. GTA is like the only non-CoD, non-sports game that your average Joe will go out and buy without hesitation. GTA is a household name, Fallout isn't.
I would live if it did, but no. GTA is still way more mainstream than fallout will probably ever be. No way in hell it will though, even though I would love if that were the case

You think now that Sony's conference is over that the double whammy of Last Guardian and FF7 Remake rival Fallout 4 for hype?
Thought Witcher 3 was going to have an easy GOTY win...then Metal Gear and Falllout 4 came on the scene, and we aren't even close to done with 2015 yet.
Obviousness as clairvoyance, amazing. Doom looked great. As an older gamer id nailed it IMO.
I will play Fallout 4 next year. This fall I'll be busy with MGS5 and X-Com 2

RexSpec06 ..Yes.. If you like what you saw. You won't need to play any of the others because they are different stories.. but you have 5 months to play either Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas, or both. Then you will know if this game is for you or not.. providing you have plenty of time.
Awesome thanks Phil. I know Fallout are great games but I struggle to find the time for big long games these days, but once I do, I'm completely hooked. I still have the original Bioshock sitting unopened on my shelf after I bought it after playing and loving Bioshock Infinite lol

Fallout 4 is going to be amazing! But I was more surprised by Doom. I had zero interest in it when it was announced, then seeing the map editor made me super excited. It's Timesplitter's editor on steroids. =D

Sorry colin. I never doubted you about fallout, but fallout didn't win it for me personally. Just the mention of ff7 being remade has won it all for me. And square enix hasn't even had it's CONFERENCE yet. Oh dear god :D This is a great year to be a gamer :)
Fallout looked great and probably plays well also. Alltho, i didn't like that base building aspect because i just dont need that kind of stuff in to my Fallout games. I hope it is not mandatory in any way.
Hopefully they won't fuck this up like Skyrim.
