Harley K I'd say new IP of the show is Horizon, but definitely Fallout 4 for me. In my opinion Bethesda did everything right with Fallout 4 at E3.

EMFM84 I was actually pretty bummed about Fallout. Up till the crafting / building portion everything about it looked bland as fuck and just not interesting whatsoever.
The crafting and building is pretty cool though. But other then that, need to see more of the story and whatnot.
I, a playstation fanboy, recognize and truly believe that xbox will have a better holiday 2015 than playstation. Even though playstation had more games that appeal to me than xbox, just the announcement of being able to play old games for free as long you owned them sold me and now I'm game. So give me $400.00 so I can own an xbox one and buy me a burrito. Thank you.
It's cool that Xbox is doing this for people who care for backwards compatibility. But I think it's important to note it not all games. And as of now I think it's only 100
Edis Delgado yes I agree, but to someone that never owned an xbox in their life is so atractive, because now that would mean they can play both xbox360 and ebox one games in one console without having to own the past gen console. Like playstation 4, you have to buy or "rent" the ps3 games and trust me having having two consoles just to play you old favorities games it can be a bitch or if you ritch buy the same game you already owned it's not fair, also michrosoft said 100 games to start, but they will keep working on releasing most of them in the future. So yes I will buy an xbox one.

Timothy Kane At the very end of the video they mentioned that they didn't talk about Fallout 4, and that they had reasons (which they'll apparently talk about later) why it wasn't in their discussion for E3 Game of the Show. I personally can't imagine why that might be, because I agree that Fallout 4 looks too good to be true. I was expecting the world from that game, and it's looking like even more than I was hoping for.

Apollo On day one they said Fallout 4 was a spectacular presentation and they thought it would steal the show so yeah it's unusual it wasn't really mentioned here. Maybe they were a little bummed that Bethesda is giving priority to Xbox, who knows.
Freshie207 Fallout has always been more at home on Xbox than PlayStation, really. But I doubt that's why they left it out.
Horizon was also my game of the show, I thought I had a unique perspective in that way, but reading these comments and watching this video, it seems that more people agree with me than I thought.
So yeah, Horizon looked killer!
Just wanna say that every other tech/game site brought dozens of employees, but you guys provided me the best E3 coverage. I watched the conferences so I don't need 5 sites spamming the same 90 second videos with the same info everyone already knows. Yours guys opinions on what we saw is more valuable and more entertaining than what everyone else did. Keep it up!

The first 20 minutes: 17 minutes of Sony, 3 minutes of Microsoft. I get that Greg and Colin are primarily PlayStation guys and Tim is a Nintendo fan, but this recap really should be a little more balanced.

It's not a recap it's what their favorite games were. The Sony games appealed to them more. Nothing wrong with that.

I totally agree with the Game of E3 2015 being Horizon, it's just so utterly phenomenal!
However, for me the most amazing announcement at the whole of E3 2015 was Dreams!
The fact that you can literally make anything in a digital environment that you could possibly imagine just blows my mind and that all of those creations can be viewed and experienced by the community of that piece of software is mind blowing.
Media Molecule said that everything in Dreams is live, so all of the bubbles at the end of the trailer were real things their team has created using Dreams.
If you want to make art, music, movies, games or anything inbetween you can do that and you can try all of those things out for yourself as well.
I can't wait to get my hands on that as well.
Fallout 4 is also utterly amazing.
I definitely want to experience all of these things next year, along with a bunch of others, but there's way too many to mention in a TH-cam comment box!
I'm so glad I subscribed. You guys (especially Colin) are the smartest people in gaming #ColinWasRight . In spite of what everybody else says, you guys aren't that biased, which is difficult to find these days. (sorry for bad english)
This is why I'm drawn to kinda funny. Horizon was Game of Show for me as well. It shows incredible promise and i think it will be one of the most unique games we will ever play.
With all the games that were displayed at this E3, Horizon:Zero Dawn was the most intriguing. It has such an interesting premise to it and it looks beautiful. When Shuhei Yoshida mentioned on Kinda Funny's E3 Show, that it was built on the 2nd gen Killzone engine from Shadow Fall, it sold me. I will be getting this Day 1 whenever it comes out, hopefully Fall 2016 or Spring 2017.

Lots of spectacular announcements, reveals and demos, but Horizon just keeps me coming back time and again - I can't wait to find out more about this world, you guys hit the nail on the head. Good jawb!
Isn't the e3 conference suppose to announce new games coming out on the horizon? Every game releasing this year at microsoft's conference was already known to be releasing, how can those be attributed to their best conference conversation? Sony has over 40 exclusive games coming before the end of the year but why talk about all the games we already know about? I think people are just not understanding what these conferences are usually suppose to be.

E3 was great for Sony, amazingly, they still have TGS, Paris Games Week and Playstation Event to announce even more games. Hopefully we'll get some more cool things at those events as well!

Horizon: Zero Dawn was clearly the best game at E3 this year. That gameplay trailer was downright jaw-dropping. Yes Uncharted 4 and Star Wars: Battefront were equally gorgeous but those games were expected to be awesome since they are from established franchises. Horizon is a brand new first party IP so it edges out the competition.
Is it me or are people exaggerating the exclusives Microsoft showed off? Like honestly Halo 5 looks kinda samey, forza the same old, and nothing much else. Tomb raider is the only game that really excited me from them. And then in 2016 I feel like the Sony games look more unique and interesting. Plus I highly doubt anything can beat uncharted in term of exclusive games. To each their own I guess.
Cuphead makes me want to buy an Xbox one.
Brandon Rodriguez At this point Cuphead would be my only reason to get an Xbox. Otherwise I don't care for Halo or Forza. TombRaider will eventually come to PS4 anyway.

Im a HUGE gears fan but that demo did nothing for me, they just showed two people walking for 4 minutes and then some generic shooting. If they nail the multiplayer tho, i'm definitely getting and XB1. With recore, I hate CG trailers so that did nothing for me.

Incredible work guys, thoroughly enjoyed the coverage
The parallels between Zelda and Horizon surprised me: extremely large open world, vibrant colors, futuristic enemies, bow combat, etc. As for Star Fox, I think the reason the graphics are so limited is that the system can't easily handle displaying something different on the GamePad at 60 fps. This was why Mario Kart 8 just mirrored the main screen instead of actually giving that player their own screen. If there was no cockpit view, the main game could probably look much better.
So hyped for Xenoblade and Mario Maker.
Excited to eventually play Rise of the Tomb Raider and Battlefront.
And I have to get a PS4 for Horizon and FF7 remake (never played FF)

Ageed, although FALLOUT 4 looks amazing, i was totally expecting it from E3, Horizon Zero Dawn caught me off guard, and I fell in love with it :-)
Horizon felt like Shadow of Mordor. A smash hit that comes out of the blue and really suprises gamers.
Fallout and Horizon for sure. I'm really excited to see Guerrilla make a new and different IP and can't wait til Nov to play F4.

Honestly my top 6 games of show ( too many good ones to have just one) would be South Park: The Fractured But Whole, The Last Guardian, Drak Souls 3, Horizon: Zero Dawn, For Honor and Star Ocean: Integrety And Faithlessness (and Battlefront but it doesnt count). I didn't includ games we have already seen because we knew they were going to come out except for Battlefront. That shit was amazing and it was everything I wanted it to be. I hope all of these games turn out as great as they looked.
Kinda Funny Games I have a ps4 myself and have always loved it. After seeing both conferences, I must say that microsoft had the slight edge for announcements. Colin was right saying Microsoft turned everything around in the Sony / FF 7 remake video discussion. They really impressed me with the backwards compatability and the commitment to improving the xbox1...sure I'd probanly never use it and some can argue they had to do something to boost sales...but with sony having the awful Playstation Now service (Huge ripoff) it's nice to see a company willing to put in an extra effort to have games we bought (only some games but better than none) playable on a new console. I'm not a fanboy by any means. Both systems / companies have positives and negatives. This was a good e3 for both sony and microsoft and I can honestly say t's a great time to be a console gamer except in Canada the prices for games are becoming pretty outrageous. What does concern me for Sony is morpheus, it seems like a big waste of money and time. Oculus and Microsoft seems like too big of a battle and reminds me of the HD DVD and blu ray war that ended rather quickly.
This and the Hitman game were tied for me as the reveals. MGSV, FO4, Division, and UC4 were tied as the games we already knew about going in. MGSV & UC4 mostly though.
This their personal game of the show!!! If you want to satisfy your fanboy tendencies then watch the videos about your fav company and be blinded by games that are uninteresting to other people. Those videos are very thoughtful and in depth! Why can't people have fucking opinions? Holy fucking shit.
Great time to be a game, I will be on Xbox One a ton this Fall and next year I will be on Playstation mostly with a killer lineup they have set for 2016!

No mention of MGSV, but that's understandable. E3 is about the future and MGSV was the future back at the 2013 & 14 E3 shows. It will be the GOTY.
I've read that Persona 5 have release window November in Japan and December in West due to success of persona 4 golden on vita in western regions they are trying to make the gap between releases as short as possible. ( They predict that at least half of their sales will be in west.)

This no colon issue is prominent though, Star Trek Into Darkness, Thor The Dark World, Captain America The Winter Soldier to name a few
I'd like to point out that Persona Team just develops the game, Atlus USA is the one who translates it. Shin Megami Tensei had a whole two months in between Japan and American release. Persona is definitely more popular than SMT, so I can't see Atlus giving it anything less.
Kingdom Hearts 3 was 100% my game of the show.

So, is greg miller a liar and bullshitting us when he said he was hyped about MGSV so much that he calls it his game of the year currently? They didn't cover any MGSV on E3 especially that amazing 40min demo they showed yesterday. Clearly it was game of the show. Its weird that they didn't cover even a single MGSV story on the show.

I wonder what occurred before the cameras started rolling that caused the tension that lingered throughout this video.
Maybe it was just because they were tired which would make sense because people tend to be irrational when it comes to lack of sleep.
But I do remember in a previous video on gamespot when they were talking about the couches that were meant for outside that they we're most likely not going to come back next year because everything was going wrong.

Horizon is looking to be the breath of fresh air that the industry needs. It's fresh it's innovative and it's original. It makes me want to buy a PS4 it looks like a real 8th generation game. I was looking forward to seeing what kind of RPG Guerrilla Games was making turns out its much better than I was expecting.
Fallout 4 is a sequel, yeah it has a lot of new and improved features. But everyone knows how good Fallout is.

The thing is with Horizon that scare me, we have been lied to before about a "true open world" in a game like this. Destiny said that a few years back, yea...open.
But Guerrilla Games hasn't really let me down and it's a solid studio and for this to be Only On Playstation, they can focus just on that.
Cuphead and Horizon are my picks because they're original IP's and they look really great. It's as simple as that.

I would love if Persona 5 came out this year in America. I just want to see Greg's apology so much, because he could be right that the game will get delayed for America but his confidence in it is great and I want to see it crumble before my eyes, because he has no idea what that studio is thinking or when it could come out in reality.
I really want that game as well. But tbh, it is hard to believe that game will come this year to NA :( I mean, that trailer at E3 didn't even have translated text and the fact that it wasn't mentioned at the conference just supports that theory. I really hope I'm wrong though.

Like a lot of people, I think Fallout 4 was the game of the show, but Horizon was the best new game that nobody knew anything about.
GOTS doesn't have to be which game they think is the best such as fallout 4. It can be the one that wasn't expected and surprised them such as horizon.
Don't get me wrong, horizon looks cool and I get why that's your pick. But it would be interesting to see if that was your GOTS if it was at Microsofts conference. But it's pretty poor how you didn't mention F4 once in this vid.

Playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, Elder Scrolls Online, and Witcher 3... I have serious open world fatigue.
Fallout 4 easily. Even if it was expected, I was so positively surprised by all what they showed and I can't wait what the modding community comes up down the road. Also I will be playing hundreds hours of Anno 2205. Looks so good.
Hitman also gave positive vibes. It seems like they got what was wrong with the last game.
The gameplay trailer was impressive, but it didn't seem to different than Tomb Raider in gameplay mechanics.

Shocked by this...specifically remember Colin saying Fallout 4 would easily be Game of the Show. I thought it looked great though (Horizon : Zero Dawn). Thought Star Wars looked great too.

I don't know guys... I'm a Nintendo fan and I went in with the lowest of low expectations, and was still surprised at how genuinely bad the Digital Event was. Ironically if Nintendo had focused a little less on the "here and now" and addressed their plans with DeNA, NX, their account system, and showed a teensy bit of Zelda footage to tide people over, I doubt the backlash would've been as big.
Tim, I'm really not grasping your defense of Starfox. Visuals aren't everything, but the art direction and textures on that game are downright horrendous. And Starfox has always been one of Nintendo's most visually impressive franchises since the SNES original. To break from that history and hand us this bland, open, empty-looking world is pretty disappointing.
I'm definitely looking forward to Mario Maker, but right now it looks like the last first party game worth buying on that console.

E3 must be like a drug. Everyones always spaced out and delerious by the end. I remember last year when Adam Seslear hosted E3 on rev3 he was so tired and draind he was literally delerious and slurring hos words and eveyone was looing at him like he was druged out of his mind. Some day i hope i can be a part of this magical time.

Zero Dawn: Horizon should be the name. Even though games that start with a Z are usually sleepers.
