Pilot fans should look out (on you tube), Alan Parsons Project, “Old and Wise”. On the album version the singer is Colin Blunstone, but he was not available for this live version. Ian is obvious with his low key tea shirt, and fantastic lead. You will love it.

Magic and January both had rather unusual hooks as well as more conventional bits. This one and Just a Smile, though still v good, lacked the novelty value. They were superb singers and players.
