Cheers to skateboarding homie Nathan Apodaca. What a great and humble guy who sums up what is good in the world. Thanks for reviving this great Fleetwood Mac song and giving us all some joy with your video. G'day from Australia!
Totally agree, i absolutely adore them. I love the simplicity of this song. The bass line can go for eternity and the guitar just teases you at all the right moments. Pure emotion. Sometimes less is more
@@benjamingruder4875 Yes! The entire song consists of two versions of the F chord and the G chord. The verses are F- and G-major; the chorus is F-major7 to G-major (and a few variations of G-major, like G5, etc.) But it's so awesomely arranged. I've been hearing it since I was a kid when it first came out on the radio. And, I've played keyboards in a rock band over ten years (although I never attempted this song until today). Even after all that, I was shocked a few years ago to hear someone say it was just two chords. I can learn songs fast; on the fly, on stage. But this song tricked me all these decades! It still blows my mind that I could never hear that it was only F and G. But after sitting at my keyboard with it today, yes that's all. This is the probably the most craftily-arranged song of the 20th century. BTW, the only good thing about the extended India lockdown for me is I got to spend two hours with this song today.
This song ruling the Charts again is the best thing that has happened in 2020. I’m really glad that new generations get to know this music. It’s a brilliant ageless record.
For my Sister, we used to go to a lot of Fleetwood Mac's concerts when we were young! I just found out my Sister has a serious medical condition. Please pray for her 🙏
It's great to see so many young people being introduced to this sort of music. This song came out when I was 1 (I'm 44 now). Truly excellent songwriting and musicianship, and great to see a whole new generation appreciating it. Songs like WAP are fun and all, but this sort of music just has soul.

This song is currently number 21 on billboard because of a man with a skateboard and cranberry juice. Say what you will about 2020, but thats just freaking awesome.
This was my grandmas favorite artist of all time. She passed away a week ago. So now I’m listening to all of Stevie Nicks’ songs. This song was her favorite song of hers.
I'm sorry for your loss, listen to all the songs you can and you will feel your grandma with you. Trust me on this, I know from personal experience. Fleetwood Mac was my favorite band too, they were awesome. Love to you.

This was the first Fleetwood Mac song I heard. Stevie’s voice mesmerized me. One of my first crushes. Then I was hooked. Oh and Mick Fleetwood is a hugely underrated drummer. On every FM song, his drumming fits the emotion. And his fills are exquisite.
This song is perfection. That whole album was a creative masterpiece, something we rarely see anymore. Being a kid in the 70's took that for granted as so many great songs came out of that era; this among the primary.
The homie riding his skateboard and drinking cranberry juice was a whole vibe. EDIT: WOAH I didn’t know I had this much likes now lol SHOUTOUT Doggface208!!!

I'm just grateful a whole new generation just discovered this timeless music thanks to the skateboard guy. I hope they continue to discover all of Fleetwood Mac.
I know everyone is commenting about the guy that lead them here, but this has actually given me an opportunity to be introduced to this group's absolutely breathtaking music. The 70s can never compare to any other decade...
I remember hearing this song a lot on the radio in the '70s and I've loved it since. Fleetwood Mac is one of those bands whose music has aged beautifully.
this song is otherworldly beautiful Fleetwood Mac are seriously one of the greatest bands of all time they had a rock solid rhythm section and three genius composers with beautiful voices when all three sing together I just want to dive inside the sound and swim around in the sonic beauty
Lol that reminds me of a Seinfeld episode. Like someone calling Elaine “Otherworldly Beautiful”…and Elaine got totally flabbergasted. Only to find out later that the guy overused the term all the time, then he even used it to refer to an ugly baby 😂 Ok Seinfeld trivia time…what was the term used in the episode?? It wasn’t otherworldly beautiful… He called her “Breathtaking” lol
@@JoeBuck-uc3bl I suppose I can be a bit pretentious sometime but I really do love Fleetwood Mac and Dreams does have a very dreamy other worldly quality to it. I like the show Seinfeld a lot but I don't remember that particular episode. Apparently they had an idea they didn't end up using for an episode where Elaine got mugged so she gets a gun to protect herself. I wish they had made that episode because I think it could have been really funny. Thanks for your comment it was breathtaking.
At about 2:22 the rhythm section does that tasty bit, I love it when Lindsey looks back at them and smiles. Moments like that between musicians quietly acknowledging each others greatness is so cool. John is the unsung hero of this album. His bass lines are what makes the songs great. Most people listen and have no clue so here’s to you John. Cheers mate!! Thank you
I agree. The drums and bass are absolutely essential to lay down the foundation(or rhythm) of great music. The rhythm section is the structure that the song is built.
Fully agree, drum and bass are so silky smooth and harmonic, setting the soothing atmosphere and at times lashing out in grandure too (The Chain comes to mind)
Lindsey Buckingham also did some good songs, taken too soon, and was Stevie Nicks mentor as her boyfriend, and how she joined Fleetwood Mac. That's just their personal life, but it sure created a great legendary band.

I just turned 69 and this is from “in my day” .... still gives me goosebumps and think it’s just balls ass funny a guy on a skateboard brought it back to the top 20!
Remember when this album came out it was amazing...all those hits now classics...and the fact they had 3 people sing lead on diff songs that were also hits just tells you how amazing their talent was, is...RUMORS is in my top 20 albums OF ALL TIME.....anyone with a brain who knows great music knows that album is one of rock history's( or just music in general, no genres needed) greatest masterpieces...
This was my tune on my way to chemo every week!!! It gave me vibes, light , hope . I blasted it in the morning, danced in shower, in car all the way to the hospital! It became my Hakka warrior song in my fight and kept me happy and strong throughout… it still gives me chills and makes me dance and sing out loud 💚💛❤️💚💛❤️💚💛❤️
Dreams led to hope , hope leads to positive energy . You give off the vibe of having all of that . Be well mimoye 1 . Never stop dreaming for your light will never fade .

RIP Christine McVie 💔 long live Stevie Nicks and the rest of Fleetwood Mac. Always the band I turn on and turn up when I’m lighting up the Mary Jane 🔥🔥🍁💨
My father loved the 70‘s and everything that came with it. He always had soft rock stations playing during the day when i was little. Anything Fleetwood Mac that came on he would say “ohhhh!! Stevie!!“ and tap his foot. This song came on in the car after i hugged and kissed him for the last time.
Stevie nicks is so pretty even today in her 70s. She emanates a different vibe. MUCH LOVE to all from remote village in India. Chill positive vibes coming your way
I hate to break it to you but the whole purpose of this kind of music and the hippie culture in general was to escape the terrible things happening. Racial injustice, the Cold War,Vietnam etc.
My Son at 14 is the same. Taking him to see the great Paul McCartney touring Australia this November. So wonderful that the kids appreciate these timeless artists.

Fleetwood Mac and Abba have been my 15 year old daughters two favorite band for the past couple of years. I bought her "Fleetwood Mac" and "Rumors" on vinyl for her last Christmas. This year it will be "Tusk", "Mirage" and Stevie's "Bella Donna"
hey if tiktok is going to make any song viral again, i’m so thrilled it’s this one lol! I had the privilege of seeing Fleetwood Mac last year and I can’t express enough how magical they are! a truly timeless band! :)
You know I’m circa your era, I cannot remember when I first heard it, but remember listening to it a lot in the mid 90s. Recently the Denmark Badminton’s open championships I think or it’s the french, anyways a week or two weeks ago, they were blaring this song during the intervals and it’s always in the background. Today I finally succumb to my need to look for the old video. Also can’t remember the words, so earlier today, listen to a video with lyrics. This song is so deceptively light yet very deep.

I was 26 working at Port Hueneme, Cal.; listening for the first time to this, beautiful song lyrics and great Steve’s voice. Now at 69 years old, this song rewinds great momentous and makes me feel nostalgic for the time that has already been gone. Blessings to you all, lovers of timeless songs.
I don't know, Lanie kills it singing this song, she is pretty kick ass also! Just like Steve Perry, no one will ever match him but the guy who took his place sounds REALLY CLOSE to the original!!
had the privilege to see fleetwood mac multiple times and was never ever disappointed. each and every concert was like an awakening to every person there. I'm 68 now and still listening.

I work night shift, I got to work the other night and sat in my car as this came on the radio, I turned the ignition off and turned it up loud and closed my eyes. That was the best song I've heard all week, it really relaxed me and put me in a zone before work. The drums are so tight and Stevie's voice is sublime.
Hey Nomad I remember my sister took me to see them my 1st concert I remember for real at the end of a song she would like spin off stage pop back in a completely different flowing dress mystical indeed. One cool thing I heard on her she spent over 200k back in the day on I pods and handed them out in hospitals and didn't want anyone knowing whom she was that's cool cuz she was sincerely doing that from the heart and not the shine of it. I hope your doing good. Peace.
Sensacional e sensacional!!! Amo essa Banda e Stevie Nick!!! This is an incredible timeless song, with a deep meaning. It's like a sum of a great poets work compressed into one beautiful song. I am sure many generations in the future will agree with this statement.
I cannot stress how beautiful this song and performance is. My heart melts every time. I don't know another song in the world that has done that to me.
The most fantastic song ever by Fleetwood Mac. They are still Truly amazing. Stevie as a Superb voice. Saw them Live in London at The O2 Did not dissapoint.😉😊😍🎤🎧🎶🎸🥁
@@patalberta5493 Are you kidding? This is a masterpiece work of art by one of the greatest vocalists in the history of recorded music. Madonna is an opportunist. No art involved beyond a half naked body striding something; anything. Exploits femininity to the hilt to distract our attention from other female artists that really deserve the attention, and get headlines and she's not even beautiful.
I have nothing but love for this song. I was born in 99 and have no real connection with Fleetwood Mac, but their lyrics and songwriting hit a boy right in the heart. I have no musical talent but i will learn how to drum out this song, i swear to God.
This was released when I was 11 years old and I have loved them all since then. Especially the haunting voice of Stevie and Christine's beautiful voice and piano. This is what stars are. Singers who can fucking sing and bands who play actual music. I'll listen to them until I die.
Fleetwood Mac was one of those unique bands that had three lead singers that knew how to harmonize together when singing the chorus lines. It's a talent that takes time to perfect but when they do, it's musical magic. Other examples were the Beatles, Beach Boys, Eagles, the Rascals, and of course, Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young
I saw them sing this 40 years ago this year and the memory still fresh in my mind. Stevie's smokey, raspy yet velvety voice leading the way. She wore a large bun on her head and her sleeves came down from her wrists like drapes. She would wave her arms gracefully out to the side as if she was swimming through the air. Long and lanky Lindsey and his Cry-Baby pedal accompanying her like a magic spell. Christine's keyboard and her vocals, I saw a lot of shows back in those days. Just about everybody. In Austin Texas it was the thing to do. But that show, stands out from the most of over 80 big name shows I saw.

Id give anything to go see def, van, scorpions, all in their prime. Born in mid 80s i got to hear it, just not see it. Fleetwood mac is no exception. Love my childhood music era.
Deuteronomy 28:1 Now if thou wilt hear the voice of all his commandments, which I command thee this day, the Lord thy God will make thee higher than all the nations that are on the earth. Isaiah 65:12 Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not. 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. John 1:5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

It's great to see so many young people being introduced to this sort of music. This song came out when I was 1 (I'm 44 now). Truly excellent songwriting and musicianship, and great to see a whole new generation appreciating it. Songs like WAP are fun and all, but this sort of music just has soul.

I'm still in middle school but this song is soooooooooo good I love it her voice is so soft. I try to be as musically cultured as I can
Modern music is degenerate filth pushed by zionists. Music back in the 70s was less degenerate, but the seeds were still there.

I have all the original LP versions of many of these bands - one of them is Rumours by Fleetwood Mac - all collector items .

Just simple and beautiful...
I get mesmerized watching Stevie float her hands around in her dreamy calm collected state. The whole band is right on!
Is this Stevie nicks singing ?
Turns me to mush...
@@monstercarlos2023 Yep

I agree wholeheartedly 👏👏
This song is perfection. That whole album was a creative masterpiece, something we rarely see anymore. Being a kid in the 70's took that for granted as so many great songs came out of that era; this among the primary.
Exactly. I was also a teen in the 70s and took this great artistry for granted.

This comment is underrated.
One word or number if you will
80s but good comment I agree 80s and 70s were great times for music
I whole heartedly agree. Frankly any music made from the 70-90's is easily better than any song now
Yup. Consumerism takes over everything.
One of the greatest bands of all time so many hit songs!
Stevie’s vocal range is ridiculous…. Impressive, her vocal on this track is amazingly enchanting, never heard anything like it
Live a little
I remember hearing this song a lot on the radio in the '70s and I've loved it since. Fleetwood Mac is one of those bands whose music has aged beautifully.
this song is otherworldly beautiful
Fleetwood Mac are seriously one of the greatest bands of all time
they had a rock solid rhythm section and three genius composers with beautiful voices
when all three sing together I just want to dive inside the sound and swim around in the sonic beauty
Que mujer hermosa
J ai appelé ma fille sarah a cause de leur chanson sara
Lol that reminds me of a Seinfeld episode. Like someone calling Elaine “Otherworldly Beautiful”…and Elaine got totally flabbergasted. Only to find out later that the guy overused the term all the time, then he even used it to refer to an ugly baby 😂
Ok Seinfeld trivia time…what was the term used in the episode?? It wasn’t otherworldly beautiful…
He called her “Breathtaking” lol
@@JoeBuck-uc3bl I suppose I can be a bit pretentious sometime but I really do love Fleetwood Mac and Dreams does have a very dreamy other worldly quality to it. I like the show Seinfeld a lot but I don't remember that particular episode. Apparently they had an idea they didn't end up using for an episode where Elaine got mugged so she gets a gun to protect herself. I wish they had made that episode because I think it could have been really funny. Thanks for your comment it was breathtaking.

Fleetwood Mac's music is second to none !
Lindsey Buckingham great guitarist ! Love that man !
I call. you answer simple. It's great when rehearsed but magic when it comes out organically. Makes the music more intimate, personable, and human

No art involved beyond a half naked body striding something; anything. Exploits femininity to the hilt to distract our attention from other female artists that really deserve the attention, and get headlines and she's not even beautiful.
@@richardjuukovsky141 yah, I was only kidding. It's actually Vanilla Ice song Ice Ice Baby.
November 2024 anyone?

Been there all along.
Hell yeah

I have nothing but love for this song. I was born in 99 and have no real connection with Fleetwood Mac, but their lyrics and songwriting hit a boy right in the heart. I have no musical talent but i will learn how to drum out this song, i swear to God.
good on you mate!
This smash it can off the LP entitled " dreams"...for those of you old like me, remember 1977...disco was King!
I meant to type the LPs was " rumours', & the song called dreams.
99, baby here as well, best of wishes on your drumming. 70-80's music, will never die only get better with time. Ages like fine wine 🍷
@@satellizer7584 okay thank you for you pleasant/ kind reply!
Crazy how one man riding a skateboard and drinking cranberry juice singlehandedly brought this song back to life and now it's top 10 in the US charts.
My lil sis liljeannie absolutely adores this. Luvs it!👨🦲🧛♀️🧞♂️🧝♀️🧝♂️
⛈thunder only happens when itz rainin, lotsa a luv liljean⚡🖤⚡🤘🦅🐞🕸
Dunno about singlehandedly, Halsey and Kelsey ballerini did a pretty good cover and i bet that’s bought a few to here as well.
YES so crazy, but wonderfull song .
Life is strange, and it happens all around you.
This was released when I was 11 years old and I have loved them all since then. Especially the haunting voice of Stevie and Christine's beautiful voice and piano. This is what stars are. Singers who can fucking sing and bands who play actual music. I'll listen to them until I die.
I was 11 as well. Listened to them on WLS-Chicago.

Stevie's actually a witch and according to my mom, who knows a lot about magic, that hand waving thing she does is magic
This song hits the note. It makes you relax and at peace to yourself. Just as Nathan can show us that life brings trials it also brings the blessings of the Almighty God willing to show compation, peace and serenity. I say well job done Nathan, homie on the skateboard sipping on his cranberry juice.
I love how Nathan has been having his trials & tribulations in Life. His car breaking down was like no big deal..He was like... I got this..takes out his longboard and cranberry juice. We All got this in this Pandemic! God Bless Us All!

Man, Stevie’s timing is incredible here. She sings so well in the pocket, maybe even just a hair behind the beat, which makes it sound even better.
Christine and Stevie were such great songwriters! I wish musicians today could write songs as great as these.
Heard this song for the first time ever yesterday. Has been on repeat since.
Right tho !!!
Man, same. Can’t stop listening to it since yesterday
this was my first fleetwood mac song. fell in love and then explored their other songs. became a big fan.
Listen to The Chain and Little Lies
You been living under a rock?
I lost my mom back in 2019. She loved FleetwoodMac. This song brings tears to my eyes. I love this band. ❤️
My mom’s favorite was landslide she die2016
Sorry for your loss. It’s funny how our love for our parents gets tied up in the music they loved.
She certainly had good taste. Blessings to you and your family.
Maybe my children will remember how much I loved this song . I'm 65 now .
@@Lynne-wp2ni they will if you share it with them :)
Song is number 7 on billboard top ten 42 years after it comes out all because of a chill ass dude on his skateboard sipping cranberry juice.
A classic that will continue to stand the test of time and be enjoyed until the end of time!!
I’ve been a HUGE fan of Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac for over 40 years, absolutely loving how the young ones are hearing this for first time thanks to the cool guy and his skateboard, I named my daughter Sara after my favourite Fleetwood Mac song, she is 20 now and a huge Stevie Nicks fan. Pure class 🥰
Wow, I named my daughter Rhiannon. Enough said.

Id give anything to go see def, van, scorpions, all in their prime. Born in mid 80s i got to hear it, just not see it. Fleetwood mac is no exception. Love my childhood music era.

Isaiah 65:12 Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.

And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
i love gems like this, oldies like this put a smile on my face, no cursing, no shouting, no mumbling, just pure vybes and vocals
Perfect song. Stevie is so hot, so beautiful, so powerfully stoned here. The vocals, simply amazing. Mick Fleetwood, one of the best drummers, withou a shadow of doubt!
it rocks!
Stevie Nicks’ beauty and voice is timeless. 😍
Yes! You can watch these videos today and be wowed by both!
