Love the review! Especially the part about the distraction by the 60s Ford Mustang. Classic! Maybe you can do a collab video next time where you review both the Ducati and the Mustang
These scramblers are really underrated the people who ride them understand this and know they deserve respect, they are brilliant !! Motorway countryside small roads no problems. I had a few Ducati’s in the past including a 2018 monster 821 the scrambler is a much better bike and more of an all rounder, I’m 5ft 8 and 10 stone suits me perfectly thing has power it’s a do it all bike
I’ve been lucky enough to have two track days, one in a Shelby 67 GT500 and the second in a stage two Mustang. I can safely say that the stereos in each car would never be used or surpass the sound of the engine. Bikes are more affordable thankfully.😬👍🏻
It doesn't seem to really have the character you normally get from an air cooled V twin, and it looks a bit plasticy too. I think you'd be better off with a XSR 700 or Z650RS if you want a lightweight retro bike. With the savings you could get an aftermarket exhaust and some suspension upgrades and have a bike that's just as good for less money and save on maintenance.
Apart from the fact that Ducati designers obviously forgot to sketch a mudguard on the front (or the back), I think it's a neat looking package. Especially like the upswept but low exhaust position. No roasted legs here?
Love it. I was reading about this bike and then BOOM your video was dropped. I am new to Ducati and currently researching the costs of servicing the bike, as I have heard some horror rumors.
The engine is nice and I have seen more attractive versions of this bike over the years. As usual a demo ride would really be necessary to remove doubts to the comfort for smaller riders as well as performance.
Like them but the price is an issue for what you get then the added expense of removing and replacing that bread box they stuck the exhaust in. Plus, why even have a front fender
the other day i pulled alongside one of these and literally it was very quiet and not much bigger than my hunter , so maybe due to my hunter 350 sound i could not hear this ones sound properly❤
Probably the only Ducati most of us can actually afford but still too expensive for what it is. Looks nice, but I think I'd rather go for a fantic caballero if I wanted an Italian scrambler or even a cfmoto 700clx if I want to save a lot of money and have a similar powered bike.
Nice review! What about vibrations on the footpegs? I tryed the first gen and I felt a lot of vibrations. Did something change on this next gem? Thank you!
@@andreighita9803 I've been riding air-cooled Ducatis in the Texas heat for 24 years and never had a problem. One is a modified 2007 Hypermotard 1100S that dynos at 95 HP. It will run hard all day long with zero problems.
I'm not positive but for a bike to be considered L Twin the Cylinders have to be inline with the frame not transverse and the front cylinder has to be almost parallel to the ground lol Not sure who defines what an L Twin is but that is what my research shows Just saying. I prefer Moto Guzzi over Ducati anyway. Does anyone know who Defines what an L Twin is, Who would do that, is there an Italiano Engine governing body or something 😆

freddy dobbs did a similar very gud review and fact is that ducati cannot make bikes with good butt comfort for sure, that is the only point that both of you highligted as a negative❤
Hi from Australia, it can get a tad warm here. My Scrambler can run just a little hot in the city but never enough to be an issue in the 40,000 miles I've clocked.
Fantic feels heavier, but would be the better choice if you’re doing more off-roading. This bike would not be any good off-road due to lack of mudguards
You think that £11k for a bike like that represents good vfm? Amazing. I've followed your channel because you champion bikes that don't cost the Earth and represent real value. The Scrambler is priced right at the top end of what consumers (suckers) will tolerate. The only vfm it represents is when compared to the utterly stupid R12 9T, BMW. It's not biking, it's emptying old men's wallets
The Italian manufacturers have a reputation for making stylish motorcycles, so how is it possible that noone at Ducati is able to see, how utterly ridiculous that tiny orange thing above the front wheel looks?
It has the same upgraded suspension as the 2019 model, so better but not amazing. I can say it's better than a Tracer 700 but not as good as a Honda CB500x (comfort wise).
@@jakelowe8583 That's why it's moped 2.0 😉 It's small, not for off roading, not for highway, very nimble for city, flashy plastic fantastic. All the characteristics of a moped, but then way too expensive (hence 2.0). Opinions only hurt if one agrees 😘

I would like to see a review with the "classic" Suzuki SV 650 or the X version. What do you say❓🙂
