    I have owned a Scrambler Sixty2 for 6 years now. I normally like to get a new affordable motorcycle every couple of years. I actually prefer small bores and have ridden them all my life starting with RD Yamahas in the 1970s. Problem with this bike is I like it too much to sell. It does everything really well. Smooth comfortable. Extremely good build quality. I guess my point is if this style of motorcycle fits you, buy one and prepare to be looking at it for a very long time.

      Congratulations on your choice, they are one of the most fun bikes you can have. A hug and good curves

    8:05: color change is a dumb idea. a) when smart car was launched color panels were swappable - NO ONE DID THAT. b) in uk your vehicle papers include color. so when the feds spot the registration plate and the color don't tally up - they pull you over.

    If I had 11K to spend, I think I could find something better than this bike, and liquid cooled.

    I ride a scrambler FT and it’s great to short shift with max torque at 5800rpm. The new models max torque is now delivered higher up the rev range so has it changed the bikes character at all? Great vid and it looks a tough 2 days in Spain!!

    • @michaels1230

      @@Explorerda ok up to about 25C. Over that and its splayed legs at traffic lights. Once on the move it’s fine.

    Did not address cost to own. The is still the old Desmo engine, which means valve checks every ~7,000 miles. Asked dealer cost of that service, ~$900 USD. Makes this a very pricey bike to own and maintain.

    • @pauldemir4133
      @pauldemir4133 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its Every 10000 miles the valve check, its a couple of hundred more maybe, oil change its very easy to do self, i ordered a yellow one, its expensive but also very nice quality and de desmo engine is great not like a in line 2 japanese.
      If you make alot of miles then you might be right,

      Ummm his are not actual garden gloves ? Idk if you're being sarcastic? Bc digital is hard to pick up. If not blatantly obvious. But to be clear, up close, his are protective gear. Not RUBBER Gloves, that would not offer any protective properties as you skid across gravel, dirt or pavement 😒🤦

    Which bikes have you reviewed weren't "approachable?" (whatever the hell that's supposed to mean) Which ones weren't "torquey?"

    I've got mixed feelings about the bike. On the one hand, it does look fun to ride. On the other hand, the styling and colors make it look like a cheap Chinese bike.
