I ´m a german christian mom. Very special - your family and so beautiful. You decided with wisdom and love the time and circumstances of the ceromony. Thank you for sharing your life with us. It ´s very educating for me! Love and prayers for Israel and the Jewishs around the world.
Its interesting that you speak positively cause Muslims in Germany always got called out for circumcision of Boys. They even wanted to forbid it and call it mutiliation.
@@susanneal6063 And wher is the muslim here?
This family is not ethnically Jewish that you know. they are Arabs who practice Judaism, there are also other races such as Chinese and blacks whose religion is Judaism.
I'm not Jewish, but after coming across your channel, I have learned about so many beautiful customs/traditions of your faith. Thank you for sharing. ❤
Yes thank you for sharing.
I've never seen anything like that. It was beautiful to see the prayers for the baby and made me think of how the baby is not just joining your family but a greater community of faith and culture. Congratulations again.
He joined the Jewish Nation.
That's a lovely name, Yehuda. Glad everyone is well! God love you all.
Is this the correct spelling?
@@NKDs-po8wf It might be Yahuda.
In our Ashchenazi community, the night before the baby's bris, the children of if community come and say the shema over the baby and sing lullabies to him. Then the family gives them treats. Your Bris was beautiful. May Yehuda bring you and Kal Yisroel only nachas and simchas. Mazel Tov
I just love watching your beautiful videos Sonya. I find them to be joyful, meaningful and calming. You are a bright light in a dark world. You are a wonderful role model for women of all ages. I am a Christian woman who was married to a Jewish man, so watching your beautiful traditions always makes me happy. God bless you and your lovely family❤
Please extend my gratitude to your family, your Rabbeim, and your community for so graciously sharing the beautiful and joyful moments of this special time with us. I really enjoyed seeing the elegant clothing worn by the Sandek in honor of the ceremony, which is something new for me. My favorite part of the video was when your family were putting the gift boxes together. Happy tears!
Sonya, you and your family are very blessed. It is not common to see dad and the kids being so involved. May God bless you abundantly! Welcome baby Brit Mila! ❤❤❤
Sonya, felt so honored to be apart of this beautiful ceremony. I’m also a Christian🙂. Thank you so much for sharing it with us💕🙏🏼💕God bless you and your beautiful family 🇺🇸🇮🇱
As a non-Jew I had no idea that the circumcision ceremony was such a big deal. But I do understand how very significant it is. Now the baby is fully Jewish. So interesting. Thank you for sharing your beautiful culture.
the little baby is born jewish and the bris (jewish circumcision) brings him into the covenant . I hope this helps.
Thanks.
@@shevalazaros4427
it's a big deal to them, why would you say such a dumb thing
@@user-on7fo4nr4z no need to be rude about it. We are all learning here.
@@user-on7fo4nr4z- What is wrong with you? Did someone hurt you as a child? Why be so hateful to others??
You need to seek help for that *obvious* personality disorder you have. Learn how to be around people. Maybe if you got out of your parent's basement more you’d know how to act with others in social situations. What a hollow life you lead.
Thank you sharing this Sonya and what a lovely little boy! Not being Jewish I’ve never seen the ceremony before but it was all SO interesting. Your other children all looked so grown up in their party outfits too! So pleased for you all. 💜
Thank you, Sonya, for sharing the preparation and details for this lovely ceremony. I love your emphasis on teaching your audience the what, why, and how of so many things. I think understanding brings us together.
Congratulations my Sonya! ❤
As always thank you for educating us::: I love it ❤
I’m not Jewish but this brought tears to my eyes ❤
Congratulations on your new baby🍼🐥👶
These family and friends events in your lives are precious.... your children are blessed and they will rise up and call you blessed! Sacredness is about gone in the world today. I am not Jewish but Christian and it is such a loss that we don't have these sacred events. God has greatly blessed you all!
❤
Thank you for sharing your family. As an Italian Catholic we stand by the Jewish people and Israel . May God Bring Peace upon The Earth.
First, what a beautiful family! I'm a Christian; however, I have Jewish heritage and am so proud of that. I love Israel and have been three times. I met someone in Israel who would become my best girlfriend, and she lives in the States. She's Jewish and has shared many Jewish customs with me that I find so interesting. And yes, many Christians and evangelicals do love Israel and stand firmly behind Israel in this horrible war. Every time I see that an Israeli soldier has been killed in battle because of this insane war, I want to cry. Thank you so much for sharing your video and your life. I'm picking up many cooking recipes and tips. 😊
Welcome precious Yehuda, praise, to the family of God....❤❤❤ you were born to a loving, beautiful and faithful family...as always, as a Christian, I love my Jewish brothers and sisters.
This was absolutely beautiful Sonya ♥️
I'm a Christian but I love learning about these beautiful Traditions.
You all looked so nice.
Such a beautiful Family.
💙💙💙💙
Christians are supposed to reject and abhor circumcision.
Welcome, Yehuda! I love his name. It's the middle name of my former husband, my children's father. I found my son's bris to be a little traumatic for me. I wish we had had it in shul-at home it felt chaotic.
I am so happy for you and your family!
Hi Sonya, many blessings on you and your family and congratulations on the birth of your son! I’m a Catholic and I see a similarity between a Jewish naming ceremony and a Catholic Christening ceremony and I have to say that your son was so quiet all through the Bris which really impressed me! May God bless him and you all!🙏🏻❤️👍🏻🤗✡️✝️🕊! Px
MAZAL TOV, Sonya, to the whole family. May your whole life be as beautiful as that special day. 🙏🙏🙏
Mazel tov!! Such a special moment for your family.
My son was NICU for a week and wasn’t cleared until almost a month after birth for his bris. So, I completely understand. I’m in Florida and it’s so difficult to find a mohel here. So we had to hire a mohel from S.Florida to be able to have a large celebration at home. It was wonderful and beautiful! We had baby blue yarmulke with his Hebrew name and date that everyone wore and we had one made for our Zachariah to wear.
The kids, looked so grown up at the Bris, all dressed up. Beautiful ceremony, I love the baby's name too. Thanks for sharing with all of us. Welcome Brit Mila!
What is the baby’s name please? Beautiful ceremony. As a nurse, your wisdom was best to wait for the ceremony.
@@SusanjocI believe she said her little one is named Yehuda. 💙 Brit Mila is the bris, not the baby’s name.
@@christybee8959 yes, I knew that was the name for the circumcising. I didn’t catch the name. Ty
That is different name.
@@Jverburgh it’s a Hebrew name. Not sure of its meaning.
Mazel Tov! Sonya and Family! Love the name Yehuda! Thanks for sharing your Simcha with us. The children looked so good. I am sure it was beautiful and tiring and hope you are still getting the rest you need.
So very happy to see you back, Sonja!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰 MAZEL TOV, SONJA AND SHAI and your beautiful family!!!
Thank you, Sonya, for sharing this special occasion for your family and especially for tiny Yehuda. It's always a pleasure to receive a message that there's a new video from Sonya's Prep. Your beautiful family is so warm and loving.
Sonya i am Indian jew my name is Sebia and it was really nice to see ceremony there.we perform it differently here.majaltov and lot of blessings to yehuda.we call ceremony Sunta here and we distribute motichur laddoo after baby is named.
I cried like a baby during my son's Bris. It was such a beautiful day filled with so much emotion. Ours was at our house and we were surrounded by family and friends.
Beautiful ceremony, congratulations to your family. I am a Torah observant Christian and love watching your beautiful traditions.
Same here!
Beautiful video of your beautiful family. Thank you so much for sharing your joy with us
Thank you for sharing this important moment for your baby and the family. Love the navy colour scheme and the dresses are beautiful. Best wishes for a happy and healthy life for Yehuda, much love to you all.
Hi Sonya. So happy to see you back and congratulations to you and your family on your new little one. 💙
Your family look so charming as they walked into the hall. Many congratulations to you and your beautiful family.
Thank you so very much for sharing. Congratulations on your beautiful baby boy and family. I find our world is lacking in love of community and family. When I watch your videos I find myself longing for life when I was a child. Thank you for sharing your personal moments. They mean a lot.
I too share your feelings about longing for the way life was when I was growing up in the 1950s-60s. Neighbors were close and always helping one another whenever sickness or other crises arose for a family. These days I don't even know the names of most of the people living on my street. Recently I found my favorite doll from childhood - a Poor Pitiful Pearl doll - and I keep her close to remind me of those kinder and safer times. Pearl is still wearing the outfits my mother made for her back in the late 1950s.
Thank you so much for sharing! Such a fun celebration for little Yehuda - such a great family time as well! You all looked great in your outfits! Can't wait for more posts with you and your family - many hugs to you all!
Beautiful ceremony I have enjoyed watching your videos so much. Thank u you for giving us gentiles a glimpse inside your beautiful traditions and family!! Blessings to you all and the precious gift of life in your new baby!!
Congratulations on the birth of your son and thank you for sharing the orthodox Sephardic Jewish Bris and naming ceremony.
Everything you do is so beautiful.
I hope you are taking a lot of time off from work or not going back. You deserve a rest, as much as you can with lots of kids. ❤
Sonya thank G.d for the wise counsel you received about baby Yehudah’s circumcision, and that you and Shai have brains in your heads! Imagine a premie undergoing that when he normally would still be growing in mommy’s belly! You are not just people with kids, you are the truest measure of what a family is!
Is it me or does Hillel suddenly more like his big brothers now that he is also one? Blessings on your amazing fourth son, on you and the whole Prep family! Hugs, Michael Albuquerque NM USA
Congratulations! And thank you for all the details you shared! Including the contrast of medical vs Jewish approach to circumcision. After having issues with births of my own babies. Again congratulations!
I have had the privilege of going to a bris. I wish I had seen this before!! It was many years ago and not as extravagant but memorable!! Thank you for sharing your life!! I loved this!
The children all looked so sweet and so grown up.! The ceremony looked beautiful. Many blessings for your family and the new baby.
That was a beautiful party. Your kids are gorgeous. And the baby is sooooo cute. I don’t agree to Circumcision, but I respect it as a part of your religion, but that’s another story. I wish you and your sweet family all the best and a lot of fun with that little guy.
Beautiful ceremony Sonya. Thank you for letting us get a glimpse of it.
Mazel Tov Sonya! May your sweet angel and loving family be blessed infinitely. 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
