I stopped taking Calcium supplement in May 2022 when calcification was found in my coronary arteries. Also I was .2 from Osteoporosis. In May 2022, I also stopped anything that had calcium added and started taking Mk7 MenaQ7 180 mcg; vitamin D 2,000 I.U. ;Magnesium 400 mg together daily. As of 05.10.2024, my T-score went from a -2.3 to a negative -1.5. I also do the superman exercise about twice a week. My doctor said keep doing whatever you are doing. She said my numbers has improved greatly.

What about k2 Mk4?? I cant take Mk7 cuz it gives me awful heart palps. I was told those with thyroid disorders shouldnt take mk7 but only mk4 cuz mk7 has soy/natto and its bad for thyroid

same reaction to mk7 here...sucks to hear everywhere, that allegedly it has no adverse effects, yet quite a lot of people experience these heart-issues...

Mk4 is the short life form of K2 and comes from animal products but is still fermented. Brie cheese and Gouda cheese is high in K2 but it’s life is very short in the body-3 to 4 hours you if you consume it three times daily, it will cover you for most of the day. Mk7 (plant based) has a much longer half life, lasting up to perhaps 7 days after consuming some fermented product such as natto, Korean Kimchi (very good), sauerkraut. Going back to Mk4, eating grass fed organic butter also provides the K2 benefit as well as grass fed beef and liver. You can also take cod liver oil daily to give you K2 in the form of mk4. There are also vitamin supplements you can take such as Vitamin K2 with Mk7, and also Nattokinase NSK-SD. hope this helps you.

I cant tolerate any Mk7. I take mega doses of Mk4 (7500mcg) split up throughout the day since it has a shorter half life.
