I don't think anyone can fully appreciate what Dr. Berg does until you realize that in today's climate, he must be getting some major flack from the ones that don't want people to know what he is saying. God bless you Dr . Berg . I hope you keep putting it out their for a grateful following who see it and need your voice now more than ever. God bless us all

Just a quick thank you so much. I’m 64, fine boned, fair and Scottish ancestry. I’m up early here in Canada to start my fermenting of 6 cabbages for saurkraut. I suffer from osteoporosis, low energy and weakened muscles and sore joints. My family dr says I’m just getting old. Since watching your videos for the past month I have felt the results of cutting out the inflammatory grains from my diet. No breakfast cereal, no bread (except gluten free). I’ve been supplementing with k2 (120mg,), vit D (3,000 ui) and calcium. I’m picking up my beef marrow bones today to make bone broth. I’m determined to reverse the effects of osteo so that playing with grandchildren and simply going on a hike is once again possible for me. So far, so good! I’m sharing with other “mature” people I know so again, thank you.

When making bone broth, making sure you cook them for very long time, about 8 hours, to extract the benefit. I’ve read somewhere said that somehow bone broth doesn’t contain much calcium, not sure if that’s true though, hopefully someone could fix me if that’s wrong. I’ve been making bone broth as well, since I was able to find 100% grass fed product from a local farmer, grass and hay fed.

Love my daily sauerkraut too. But most store-bought krauts are not fermented for long, which is key to K2. And they're pasteurized, which kills off their good probiotic bacteria. So now I'm making kraut from raw cabbage and fermenting it. There are lots of videos on that. You can get raw kraut at some stores, but it's pricey.

I'm determined to fix my gum and teeth (before getting worse) so I did a lot of readings to find cheeses with the highest amount of vit K2 which are Muenster, Gouda, Jarlsberg cheese (and some that are uncommon in the U.S.). Cheeses from raw milk have higher vit K2 than from pasteurized milk. The following cheeses have the lowest K2 (almost zero): cheddar, parmesan, blue cheese, mozzarella, brie. So if you can't afford to pay a dentist (or believe that most of them are scammers with good intentions) then you know which cheese to get for max. benefits.

You really need to buy individual constituents and combine as your research informs you, personal preference.
People get some vitamins from their diet, other vitamins require supplements.
Since everyone is unique in terms of food choice and rates of absorption then supplementation will be individual meaning multivitamins are too generic to be useful.

It's been like this for over 10 years now, which has cause my body fat increasing to probably near 30%, and I've lost few kilos of muscle mass. I still have those physical problems when do something heavy, but I can live normal life without pain. And I really want to start training again. Not hard, but to get better shape.
So the question is, that how can you build muscle with your diet, or is it better to alternate your plan with some other diet? I want to be healthier, but I don't want to look like straw, which is inevitable if I just lose 12-14 kilos of fat.

Highly recommend EVERYONE, including Dr. Berg check out NHK World Japans channel about "natto" (which is NOT pronounced like NATO, since there are 2 letter "T's" in this food item's name). The title of the video is "The Power of Natto, a Japanese Superfood - Medical Frontiers". The MOST K2 containing food probably in the world at only 50g of weight, contains 3x the amount of K2 recommended daily. It dives deeper into the other benefits and has a section in the video specifically talking all about K2 and it's medical benefits for the human body, including an incredible study spanning 15 years and thousands of participants. And since you believe that most people would like Natto at first, they even recommend on how to introduce yourself to it thru miso soup which apparently turns out to remove the potent distinct smell and taste.
Hope everyone enjoys the video as much as I did, with the incredible information it contains and should be shared with all!

When I was a tiny little girl, my mother gave me a Tbs. of a thick yellow liquid that smelled like 'vitamins' and I loved it, (which might have been cod liver oil), but she also gave me a Tbs. of black iron! I always took the iron last, promptly went outside and spat it out! Yuck! It was some kind of nasty! If we had only known what we're learning now, we could have raised our children to be super humans! Oh, and I've never trusted the government! Just look at the disaster they've created in the past 3 years!

I switched over to goats cheese after my total LDL went up and then realised it was a safer bet as goats are grass fed , they also make the cheese you recommended.
I break my fast with goats cheese, black olives take D3 and Magnesium then have Kimchi and Sauerkraut.
Regarding the cholesterol, I asked for a full profile and there's a lot to take in and it can be overwhelming; but glad I tuned in for this you have put my mind at ease.

Interesting that you mention total LDL as some components are not detrimental. I refer you to Dr Paul Mason here on TH-cam regarding this subject to determine if further action is necessary.

    • @FeralCoot
      @FeralCoot ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@seattlesix9953 Yes Paul Mason gave a timely talk the same week I got my results on LDL and how women over the age of 50 seem to make more LDL from eating Cheese.
There's only 1 peak event measured @ 267.8. The small dense LDL 3 was the only one evident @ 0.43 (according to the lab that's high), the rest were not detected. Trigs had slightly increased and HDL dropped.
I also factored in ill health for 6 months and totally restricted to doing exercise, plus I was on cortisol and Dr Mason mentioned the effects of it on LDL.
I don't use it anymore and have switched to making balms from the garden.
I am hoping this will make a difference and show on the next test.

Sounds like real nice whole foods like our grandparents ate.
So, if K2 boost mitochondria with ATP, clear up arteries, protect the heart and help with insulin resistance and inflamation.... Then it just might be an 'anti-cancer vitamin' too?
Cancer has a strong relation to mitochondreal health.

I believe it was about 25-30 years ago I first heard of Vitamin K, along with other ones we didn’t know about at the time. Our bodies are amazing mechanical machines! And we are the mechanics working on them.
Thank you so very much, Dr Eric Berg! Many blessings for you! I also appreciate when you go back to let us know you’ve learned new informations and correct what you once said. Not only is that a sign of intelligence, that is self integrity, and we carry it everywhere we go. 😉🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽♥️
